You all know that I love a challenge, When players request something changing within the game we get every excuse known to man and aliens, yet here we are and GGS can now somehow stop part of the game and restart it in a few hours. When players requested something like this we were told that it could not be done ......what was the excuse now ? it would need the game redesigning and have to bring the art guys out of retirement and it would upset the balance of the game......

I haven't been there either, but I never got much further than gauge 7 or 8 because the times were too short, so that indicates that for normal harvesting getting past gauge 7 or 8 is already impossible. Maybe the times will be a bit longer than 30 secs, but the more you add, the faster it runs empty, so I wonder for how long they could manage. Can never be a full night's sleep

Wheather it would be nice to have slightly lower point span or slightly longer time to accomodate for non-enthusiasts satisfaction is another question completely.


Just as a side note: For GGS the top of many features seems to be determined by the most enthusiastic performers. So the crazier some players go about something, the higher the ceiling wll be set by GGS. They call it balancing. And since there are more then 4 hours time extra, they might add some points or lower the time slightly for some runs ...... 8) ....... Well, that was a joke ....... haha........... I intend to enjoy the next run anyway without getting anywhere near insane.

Scissors, think for one second :P If the time moves below 48 hours it will change to ~1 day. So as long as it still says ~2, it is more than 48 hours, but less than 72 because if it was more than 72 it would say ~3 days.

So to be clear what you are saying is that even though you are unclear about how the event works, you were/are certain I'm wrong? Noted.

I'm not wrong. You would need both an insane amount of gold, and put in an insane amount of hours (including no sleep) to make the goal. Math, is not speculation.

I got to level 9 without gold, so it is possible to get past 7 or 8 with normal farming. (I know they made L7 and L10 faster now.) Again, I suppose that speed ups only happen at the change of level, not within the level, so once you reach level 10 it's not gonna go any faster no matter how much you pack in the funnel. But then without any further reliable data we can't progress in our reasonings, so I'll just drop it here. I don't aspire for that top hunt insanity anyway.

Yep, we'll need an experienced gauge 10 player to confirm whether the times are this short for all products and if it is possible to progress without the time shortening up any further

And Yakoska, I hope you are not directing the 'so you are saying I am wrong' to me, since you quoted me as well. As a matter of fact, I agreed with you that it would take an insane amount of time (not even speaking of gold yet) to keep it running at gauge 10.

It goes faster the more product you put in. If you get up over lvl 7 or 8 on the gauge the time drops like crazy.

See? By your own words you prove that you ARE wrong. You admit to exactly what I'm saying in the post you qoute. When you include both insane time and gold factor, tha task is possible. For this aspect your math is pointless.

Just read my posts again............ Your response looks like you either didn't read it, or didn't think about it.

But since our further debate would also be pointless, I'd like to drop it here with you too.

i don't know if anyone has realised....

If the event runs for 48 hours thats 2880 mins (48x60) or 172800 seconds (2880x60) given the top reward is at 2 million and the top level is 10 points per second this is not achievable.... The most you could get would be 1.728 million points..... the shortfall of 272000 points would need an extra 7hours and 35 mins.....

This discounts that we would have to forfeit sleep and when a pallet was full have the next one up and running at level 10 within a second??????

Talk about an achievable goal..... They should have put the top prize as a million gold!!!!!

Kamil, perhaps you need to re-read my math post more carefully, so you can understand what I was saying originally again. If you accept a normal sleep time of 8 hours, its impossible. Even if you shorten that to 6 hours of sleep, its impossible for SOME of the people in the world, because 60 hours is unfair to those who are normally asleep when it starts. Don't call it wrong until you understand it.

Here is my problem with this snafu. My setup was corn, barley and eggs. I had barley ready to harvest and was doing corn when it went down. Figured they started the wrong event so I harvested my barley and planted lambs lettuce. When it came back up my set up was the same. It would have put me behind to wait till the LL and then more barley to come to harvest so I spent 1260 gold to put me back where I was at the first Hard Worker event. I feel GG owes me a Gold Mining License. What say Ye, GG?

Of course it's not possible with normal play. No doubt about it and I agree. But that's not what you say in your math post. You claim it's impossible even with insanity involved. You probably need to reread even your own posts more carefully. Now how much insanity is needed, it still remains a question to be answered. That's where neither of us has reliable data to draw solid concluson.

And ppl do more then sleep and sit behind a computer right? I mean work, eat, shower, .... go out with friends, spend time with your bf/gf husband,wife, kids,.... go to the shop,... so you have to substract even more then 8h of playtime...

From what we know it's not about that 10 extra corns, but about stepping up one level. If it is 1 or 100 corn doesn't matter. This mechanism was already analysed and described during the first run of the event. So far nobody observed and reported any other speed up then leveling up on productivity gauge.

Hi idk what is going on and I haven't done the math to see if 40th prize is possible or not either,
but one thing i can say is thank you GGS for this event and for upgrading prizes too. just winning a bunch more mystery boxes and tokens and seaweed stuff is much better than nothing for me at least so I'm thankful for this event

I'm with you Griffith on this. I like the event. Although better timer would make it more user friendly, and at least one GML placed somewhere down within hormal play reach would make it even more attractive.

If hitting lvl 7 exactly shortens the time, this changes the math (for the worse) regarding what can be accomplished overnight, change 7 to 6 (which comes out to -28,800 each 8 hour rest). More data to come, I guess.

So what exactly do you think I misunderstand?

• With every level up on the gauge the material in funnel is consumed faster, which results in points added faster and remaining time to empty being shortenned, meanng more goods needs to be added per minute of processing.
• Times remaining to run empty also vary with product. Typically apples have longer times then WF or corn. We probably won't try to run corn or WF overnight at gauge L10, but rather keep it on longer term product to make it feasible.
• Since speed up happens at the productivity level up, not just based on added goods without level up, we have no reason, so far, to assume other then the same behaviour at L10.
• When a player reaches L10 productivity on reasoneably long term product, then they can decide how much gold and time insanity is needed to keep it running without going empty.
• Considering anything else then L10 with regard to reward 40 is mostly pointless since we already know the machine needs to run at that speed for 56 hours to get there.
• That keeping L10 will require insane amount of gold and maybe even insane amount of time has already been established.

Have I missed or misinterpreted any crucial point?
