unfair to co-oop founders

i founded my co-op in February of 2013. I was not employed and spent a great deal of time on my farm. when I became employed I felt that a more active player should HELP with the leadership position. I had no idea I would be giving away all my rights last October. Now the "Leader" of the co-op is totally rude and mean to the members. she is only on ONCE a day.

I am now unemployed and on all the time again.

When I gave her the position she said she would give it back if ever I asked. Now she claims she never said that.

I believe that the founder should retain the right to take back their leadership position if the new assigned one fails. I do not want to start a new co-op. that would be nuts. our co-op is level 40. I don't want to start over.

Is there any way other than praying she stays off for 30 days that she can be impeached?

I'm afraid not. Once made leader, a player can not be removed from office. What you can do is try to reason with this individual and let them know that it would be in the coops best interest for you to be leader now that you have the time to invest. It demonstrates just how careful you need to be when selecting a replacement leader. Sorry!;(

I have tried to reason with her and she just keeps getting nastier and nastier

we Had 21 members now down to 18 and only 4 of us are not red dots.

I think it is very rotten that when I wanted her to help ..... when I clicked for her to be leader while I was employed ...

that a screen should have popped up to state that all leadership rights would be lost if this action is to be taken
I had NO IDEA I would have NO POWER

I hope someone will change that and make an alert so this won't happen to any other founders or leaders for that matter

Yeah, I don't have much hope for a successful leader change either, but you can always try to explain the situation to our support team. I really can't promise much in this situation, but it's probably worth a shot.

As Latten says, kathy, inquiring with Support is worth a shot. But you must understand that it's a bad policy for the company to become involved in the politics of a cooperative. Just a word of caution: You said your exchanges with this person have gotten nastier. You should know that your new leader can remove YOU from the coop. Something to think about.......:S

I have had a similar experience but the person I transferred to decided to leave the game and transferred the leadership back to me. Now, I only make deputies who can do anything but remove people. t might be better for you to start a new coop. It seems this one is mostly dead and you are just becoming more upset and taking abuse.

It looks like a good solution would be another "position" - "deputy leader" with all the rights of the founder but always "under" the founder, not being able to kick founder out and always with an option to be removed from the postion by the founder. That would sort out both ends. Somethng to be implemented by GGS.

Please never give away leadership haphazardly, even if you're busy. There is no harm in remaining the leader but appointing deputies that you trust: you can always take deputy rights away if they are misused, and the only thing deputies cannot do is remove members.

Always be honest though and explain to your members that you'll be playing less, and make it clear to them which deputy will act as a "leader" while you're gone. ^-^

Best of luck if you have to start over, although I do hope support can help you guys out.

helping farmers is at level 241 at one point we were under 100

I do not want to restart a co-op

I know and hope she dos not remove me

Kam you are so so right about the deputy leader position excellent idea

the main problem is when you let someone else be leader there is no indication that you can not have two leaders

no indication of all you are giving away
