    You could always use GOLD for this " bottleneck"
    I am just laughing at the ship requesting 1 item of a crop more than the greenhouse produces, I would have thought GGS would not have made their devious idea so obvious.

    Hi, I've noticed that there are some issues with the production cost in candy farms.
    so_this_happened.jpg
    Top is higher happiness, bottom is lower happiness.
    An increase in happiness does decrease the production cost, like expected.
    However, in both cases, the reduction is not applied but instead looks like added (along some small extra amount) onto the production, making it more expensive.

    Hope I'm not making a fool of myself if this is intended because I can't seem to find any information regarding this.

    Thank you for your attention.

    It doesn't seem right, it's just as random on my own farm. Hmmmm >:(

    I've sent a ticket to support, I would recommend that you do so also.

    As in real life, everything costs money and unless you are wealthy, there never seems to be enough :) I am enjoying the candy farm and the choices involved. I do have one complaint.... PLEASE do something with the fat man whose belly[or backside or whatever] is hanging out of his shirt !!!

    Thank you Q

    Well, for my budget, I wont get far in this farm at all. I won't be able to afford all the upgrade costs just to get the farm where it will function 'decently'. I've already got my plan on how I want my farm to be set up as, and I'll will see what I can do with it (by working my rump off). I've spent over 4m in Farm Dollars on this ranch and I will be pretty lucky if I make it to the first prize in tier (750k tickets), I HOPE to make it to the 3,000,000 ticket prize, but I don't think I can...

    I am NOT going to spend MORE farm dollars just to upgrade the other structures so I can make SEVERAL different candies. By then I'll have "invested" 10 million into it!!! It would bring more tickets, yes, but I just can't AFFORD it and I am not going to spend much more than 3,000,000 on a temp farm when the only reason I am only doing it to begin with is for the seeds, so it's insensible to spend much more than that... The horses aren't worth that then - I'm sorry to say (over 4,000,000 for 5500 horseshoes and some seeds + working so hard, it'll seem like WORK, not PLAY). The horse is not going to give me my 4,000,000 back. Not with this farm. Adjustment NEEDS to be done... because, frankly, I can't be bothered with trying to figure out a working strategy; it's impossible with the way I play.

    That aside, I'll play it leisurely for fun, with any spare spending dollars that I have, because I DO like the setup. :)

    Sure is, the same way that you visit their main farms. Anywhere that you go to click on another players info, there is dropdow list to select which of their farms you want to visit, next to the green arrow which takes you there. If you are already on another person`s farm, the dropdown list is up in the top left corner.

    I don't think anyone thought to report the vouchers for building, buying, and clearing all the plots/buildings. Which is a shame. I'm kicking myself now. I'd really like to see them for comparison with the Island.

    Just to do the justice, you might want to go and check with your debate partner Psicolix for further detailes.
    I did noticed and took into acount the drop from costruction and drop rate.
    Make suggar drop you 17 vouchers...
    Upgrade of cocoa orchard level4 = 183.000 vouchers.

    but even add ALL that, you just cant get a good return.

    What I have:
    Palace Level 2
    8 bought and cleared land lots
    Candy Caravan level 3
    5 simple trailers; three level 2 (6xx+6,xxx tickets each), two level 1(6xx tickets each)
    Pay Booth level 3
    Candy Factory level 2
    Sugar Mill level 2
    2 fields level 1
    1 Alpaca pen level 1
    2 Almond orchards; one level 2, one level 1
    Cocoa orchard level 1
    Gate level 2
    Fence level 2
    Composter level 2
    5 cotton candy machines(10,400tickets each)
    5 gumball machines(6,xxx tickets each)

    All tasks completed to my ability...

    Still have 40 Fruity Delights in inventory

    I love the new setup for the candy farm. I wish all the islands can be done this way. Far more fun and easy to get going on it. I can see how this will be a much better temp farm for the lower level players. Great job guys.

    I did some math for small players... best payout for a low budget.

    Fist you need to undestend that if you don't go for level 4, the payout of orchards and fields sucks, so i recomend alpacas, and the recipe that do the most use of alpacas is the pudim..

    Suggar Mill Lv2 = 252k (32k, 220k) Makes 12 Alpacas feed Need: 360 Pasture [12 workers]
    Alpaca Lv2 = 4x556k (46k + 510K) makes 3X (72 Milk + 44 cream) [44 workers]
    Cherry Orchards lv3 = 1.190k (350k+840k) [17 workers]
    Humus machine lv2 = 80k [7 Workers]
    Field Lv1 = need 4, [20 Workers]
    Factory lv2 = 1200k [15 workers]
    Cabin lv2 = 300k [+32 Workers]
    Trailers lv2 = 6X100k [+84 Workers] {-270 Hapiness}
    Deco 4x4 = 11X150k {+ 264 Hapiness]

    you will be able to afford and feed 4 alpacas lv2.. thats.
    Milk= 864 (enouth for 12 reciper of pudim)
    Cream= 528 ( 12 recipes of pudim + 48 cream Leftover)

    12 recipes of pudim Also takes:
    72 grapes. (36 colections on a lv1 field, about 6 hours with 1 field)
    432 Cherrys (If you can colect 12 times per day from a cherry orchard, you need 1 lv3 orchard)
    Leftovers = 720-432 = 288 Cherrys

    The final stage is to make 360 Pasture for the alpaca feed.
    on the orchards you will make 12X47 leaves... in a lv humus machine gives about 8 humus per day.
    with a level 1 field, you can make 2 times pasture per day, thats 2x23x2= 92, you will need 4 level 1 fields)

    now you can do:
    12 Recipes of pudim (pays 74.688 Vouchers per day)
    48 Recipes of candy (pays 9.792 Vouchers per day)

    thats 7.496.000(Plus price of the expansions, i'm too lazy to do it now) Investiment for 84.480 Vouchers per day production.

    Now... lets talk Isle. how can i make 85.000 Shells per day?

    Field lv2 = 2X450k [28 Workers]
    Trailers lv2 = 2X100k [+28 Workers] {-110 Hapiness}
    Deco 6X7 = 3X35k {+105 Hapiness}

    Production: field Lv3
    11x 560 Peanuts = 6.160 Peanuts = 43.130 Shells
    1X 700 Grapes = 700 Grapes = 12.600 shells

    Total of 55.730 Shells... (takes 2 fields to match the candy)
    thats 1.205.000(Plus price of expansions, i bet is a lot less than the candy) investiment for a 111.460 Shells per day.

    lets compare... simple math here
    1.205.000/111.460. thats 10,81 Dolars invested to make 1 Rune per day.
    7.496.000/84.480. Thats 88,73 Dolars Invested to make 1 Voucher per day.

    for low level playars, candy farm is about 8 Times more expansive,
    and thats using the best posible rates for the candy, and the easy way for the isle.

    I would like to share some thoughts about the graphics on candy land. first off, they have teepee doors wrong and there are American bison with an African lion. Lastly and most of all the fat guy with the cotton candy is just obscene. No fat man I know would walk around with a huge navel sticking out. He would wear a shirt long enough to cover himself.

    I want to be clear. Your point is made.

    For the sake of accuracy though: Running Pudding 12 times earns you 79,968 vouchers, because of the vouchers you make each time you run the Factory for pudding. And 10,633 for the Fruity Delights. Not to mention the 960 daily for the cream. As well as the vouchers for harvesting (sometimes you get more) the orchard (5 per harvest:60) fields (15, per pasture grass: 120), Mills (30x12= 360), and alpacas (93*12= 1116).

    And here's the expansion info: You will need 600,000 to buy the 7 extra plots necessary. Though this alters your costs above, because you can uncover a Cotton Candy Deco, a Fancy Flyer Deco and a Carousel deco in the process. So you only need to buy 3 more cotton candy machines saving you 1,200,000 in deco costs. So the costs of expansions on the Candy farm is -600,000. (or in other words, a profit vs what you stated above)

    The Expansion cost on the Island: No expansion necessary, because you forgot the farmhouse and the gate and fence again. You only need 1 house lvl 1, and no decos. A savings of 290,000.

    So to recap:
    915,000/111,460 is 8.21 dollars to make 1 Seashell
    6,896,000/93,217 is 73.98 dollars to make 1 Voucher

    So to repeat... point made. Just wanted to head off anyone saying the point was invalid due to missing some available data.

    Hi, please multiply the first costs with 1.6 (means 160%).
    Then, the result appears.
    Total = Production costs * 160% - happiness

    We guess a typing error in the formula (160 instead of 100) or not communicated extra costs...
