    The task to add friends appears at level 23, so ...

    Maybe they see the "not available yet" over the direct-put-on-facebook/email/whatever thing that is not yet in the game and think the whole thing is not available? Try telling them about the copy-to-clipboard thing in the upper half. Maybe that helps.

    Leave the option to invite friends, but not on the task bar to sit there fr eternity unless you find someone to invite. have a place that if you like you can send an email to a friends account, and if they accept you get a gift for each FRIEND, and referal to a friend by that friend.Not as a task hat just sit there undone should you have no friends to invite.
