I don't really see any reasons for listing co-ops, what matters is the co-op they are in now. Are you trying to see why people may have switched co-ops? I don't see that as a very productive exercise, and it could lead to issues for the previous co-ops...if people actually do list them off, especially if they list reasons why they left or if they were kicked out, etc. Seems like a unhealthy route to take on things. Just my opinion.
Now if you had asked "how many" co-ops people had been a part of, without naming names, that I could see as something. But, to know exactly which ones, not something I think is appropriate.:S
If that is what it is, I am not sure whether I like the idea or not... I can`t really see how it would help anything & Travellers sure would have a long list.
I travel occasionally, so the list of my previous co-ops would be inaccurate and misleading. I have only been a member of one co-op. But I still don't like the idea of being under surveillance because there are enough petty people around, it would surely be abused.
Absolutely agree with Maxiroy!
Well then in that case i think those who are looking for a co-op should then be able to see the co-op's turn over rate and what percentage of that turn over rate was the result of booting. Even better, allow a dispute/review to be on file for each co-op so potential members looking for a co-op can see why members have left in the past or why the co-op booted a member. Both the co-op and ex-member get (1) five sentence comment each for the final dispute/review record that will be on public file. A potential member can then make their own decision about the disputes/reviews and how it reflects on the co-op and therefore determine whether that co-op is a good fit for them. The co-op can then see the members side, not just the side of their leader/deputy buddies from another co-op the applying member was previously a member of.
As someone who may be looking for a co-op down the road or even start one myself, i think if we are going venture into the territory the OP has suggested, by golly let's just go all out and do it right.
Point: Be careful what you ask for, nosiness is a two way street once you open that can of worms :whistling:
Just play the game and forget all this legalize mumbo jumbo talk about members and leaders.
People leave co-ops for life reasons and people get booted for game reasons--- eventually someone will find a co-op they fit into.. what does it matter how many co-ops or for what reason some has left/been booted...
Enjoy the game!!!! Relax.. have fun.... chat with your members.. race the horses.....click away!!!
I truly do enjoy my co-op and all its wonderful members-- PAST and PRESENT!!
it shows what is a first instinct reaction of a person. a negatieve one or a positieve one
Perhaps you should have made yourself more clear, in that case.
1) there are 'spy' accounts. Accounts that migrate around the top co-ops either for the purpose of seeing how other co-ops work, or are doing (in the championship for example) and even in the worst case scenario, attempt to drum up drama, and get people to leave. So for this reason, I can see why some folks would want such information.
2) Its a game. People who waste their time doing the above are, in my opinion taking a co-operative farming game way too seriously, and might want to talk to someone about their addictive behavior. But its their time, and I don't really care if these people are 'found out', or not. Just farm on!
