Lv 40 horse needs wrong amount of points for one of its levels
I've had a few uneven breedings, ie. the parents were about 2 levels apart in one field of training, but the resulting horse always had matching training costs, requiring more horseshoes for each higher level, not this strangeness. It's special features are elegance and speed, but that also never mattered when it comes to horseshoes-required-for-training. Ex-plaaaaaain?

The more I know, the less I know ...
52 more strength
53 more endurance
50 more agility
Has this all just changed for you? It seems it wasn't that high on Friday, but I noticed it yesterday.
Can we move this to BUGS or shall I make a new post over there?
I don't want to train this horse or rather I can't afford it, so I do hope for an answer tomorrow Monday.
Now I'm starting all over with another horse. Not happy
It didn't disappear, 2 horses breed into one foal which has a lower level if its parents are not at the same level. This is something completely different.
No, this is not a bug. This is how horses work. I guess, your horse had different values in three disciplines when you bought it.
Bought horse acts as "fresh form breeding". After breeding (or after buying a horse), you can train each discipline for approx. 10 levels before training becomes hard (lets say that you decline from the ideal path of breeding). If all three values are the same, this will happen in all three disciplines at the same level. If you start with a horse with different values in all three disciplines, you will reach a point when one od this disciplines will reach "saturation" before the others. Lets say you bough (or bred) horse with values
20 (strenght), 23 (edurance), 19 (agility). Then you would be able to train your horse to lvl 30 (strenght) before number of horseshoes for training gets wild, but for other two levels this will happen at level 33 and 29. So if you start with a horse with uneven values, they will train unevenly in those three disciplines.
I've taken great care to only breed my horses when they're on the same level but I've also made sure that they've been trained with the same amount of training points.
When I'm closing in on the love-love time I only ever train them so that they just reach the desired level. Never going half through a level before I breed.
Could that be something to think about? I guess it could affect the required amount of horseshoes needed for a level? Haven't seen it affecting the total breeding value though..
Maybe its additional strengths (those green+ thingies at the side) influence the difference in shoes needed for various strengths training? I played with the slider and could see that my non-boosted strengths will also double in need of shoes in 1-2 levels, sad but at least it makes more sense now, that was the only difference.
My advice is to check the offers once a day and maybe one day you'll come across a real bargain!
