My Co-Op leader has decided that she was unable to continue her leadership role and transferred it to me.
My time in the game made me her best choice I’m very active in both the game and Co-Op.
I’m level 122 I buy gold monthly and make a lot of money.
I would like to see our Co-Op grow I’m open to any suggestions on improving our Co-Op.
Our current Co-Op is called Jams Group but in due course of time I plan on renaming it.
Rev. Howard:)

Remind your players to water trees daily. Try to set up a list of projects so everyone has notice before hand of what's coming up. That way they can be prepared. (it stinks to have your chicken feed maxed out when Chicken or the Egg comes around) Try to run your projects back to back. Little ones like growing corn are ok to fill in if you're short on collectibles but you should try to run higher valued projects. As soon as you can afford it make sure to research subsidies whenever you can. It's nice to get more bang for your buck. Hope this helped in a small way.

Good day to you, Rev. Howard! You should also keep in mind that a good leader is also a cheerleader. As a man of the cloth, I'm sure you have the communication skills needed in order to get and keep your members fired up and excited about working together to achieve your cooperative's goals. And when any individual member or the group as a whole shows great effort on the coops behalf, shower them with praise! A simple pat on the back goes a long way to motivate people. Good luck and Congratulations! :)

And if you ever need more members, stealing some from another co-op below you on the rankings always helps!Just pick an active deputy of some smaller co-op. Works all the time. I personally did it a lot a while back. Even took the top five shovel member of a cooperative and got the player to join mine once. 8)

Allowed, but not ethical, Graycat. And if someone is disloyal enough to leave their coop to join yours, how can you trust them not to do the same with you?

Hmmmmm, was still pondering on that one, how to say it nicely.... FarmerJohn beat me to it. Very well said FJ!!

Depends on if it is some co-op with two or three members or no chat. Nothing disloyal or unethical about it. lol. :)
Fun too because it causes drama at times. I like in the country so I don't get much of that. Need some excitement at times.

Just ask our deputy, PeggyAnn, she was in one of the top co-ops, the one that is anti-chat, anti-message, and anti-drama of all things. She hated it in that one, but didn't know any others she could join. She chose us. Not disloyalty at all!

Another player, whose real name is Peggy Ann, typed her name into the search box and found PeggyAnn on the listings, she joined us.

And Adoptapet, our favorite deputy and top member, was stollen from some low ranking co-op. She was level 82 at the time. People that level deserve a better co-op, and if you message everyone you get a mission with, someone may just be wanting a better cooperative.

I think it's safe to say that a preacher wouldn't be interested in stealing anything, especially if it includes (God forbid) DRAMA! LOL

lol. that's just his username, doesn't mean he is a preacher. And it's just "rearranging players" from one cooperative to another. :) And by definition, it isn't fun without any drama. I've been stuck in a cooperative before that has a limit on how many time people can post something in the chat box. Got thrown out for going over the limit. :p Glad to finally find out other cooperatives, like this one, don't have those crazy rules.

I would bet the farm that he's a real preacher, Graycat. As a matter of fact, Mr. Google told me that the good reverend is quite active on the Internet! Good for you, Reverend! I'm afraid we'll just have to agree to disagree, Graycat. 250.gif

I'm an actual ordained minister. I love the game and God will not sent anyone to hell for inviting them to join there co-op if there stuck in one that is not going any where after a year or more.

It is not disloyal to want to have fun, grow and share with people who want the same experience you want.
I always invite those of level 30 or higher who are in a dormant co-op.
Having fun is the first order of the day at our co-op.

I read all these posts with interest. I am in a lower level co-op that has a leader who has returned to study and doesn't have the time to spend in the co-op. Our farmers are waiting to see what happens with our leader, who just stays away for weeks on end. I would be extremely unhappy if any of our working farmers were poached to join other co-op's, especially when we are working hard to grow our farms and to achieve projects that are often hard to complete because we have some very new farms, with too many players just sitting. One of the huge draw backs for lower level co-op are farmers who join to get their gold then sit in the co-op because we have no-one who has the ability to boot them, except our leader.
I like the ideas presented to assist the team building process and would welcome any more that you may have.

Well, if you are worried about your members leaving, just send a cooperative message asking them not to leave, and find something to do to build team spirit.

People tend to leave co-ops because they are bored of it or want a more active one. Send out cooperative messages on a weekly basis and encourage people to talk on the chat and message each other.

As a Deputy in a cooperative, you can best serve your leader by assisting them in any way you can, by helping schedule projects, recruiting new members, and communicating with your regular members as often as possible. You should also set an example for your members to follow by staying active, donating to your coop account on a regular basis, and staying in touch with everyone through chat and both personal and group messages. Every cooperative goes through the same growing pains, so just do your best. I wish you and your cooperative great success! :)

Thanks for your encouraging comments. I try to be a very supportive deputy and do as much as I can to build our farmers up, with encouragement and praise for their efforts. I encouraged them while our leader was away to continue growing their farms, watering the co-op tree, building up our co-op items and especially to stay in the co-op because we have a great team, I am very pleased to report that our leader returned today, she had a family crisis and I am very happy to have her back, along with our farmers. Thanks again for your support! It was very much appreciated and re-enforced for me that our deputy's were doing a great job supporting our farmers.:)
