Tips to earn more Experience Points

Once the tasks have been accomplished on the farms, we have production buildings to build our XP (aside from the tiny amounts provided by the little Main Farm tasks, and the rewards we get from some event tasks). Most of the production buildings have a static amount of XP per production, so there's no thought required about those, just produce as many of those things as you can, or need to for your farm (feed, humus, fertilizer, etc.). Even producing more feed than you can hold and selling 'at a loss' can be a strategy there, if one has loads of Farm Dollars.

My question is about the Bakery and Flower Shoppe: each production does give XP, and each one gives a static amount per production, but all the productions do not take the same length of time. Has anyone worked up which recipes/items in those buildings yield the most XP per hour or other set length of time? Plenty of calculation about which one gives the most farm dollars, but I am hoping someone has a chart or at least some advice about how to get the most XP from the Bakery and Flower Shoppe. I will try to work up my own numbers, if there is no such thing, but that may take a while. Thanks for any replies!

(I will try to keeps up on this and add any advice into this original post, especially links.)

    Play the game. :)

There are quite a few things you can do that award xp, and here are some of them:

    - Completing tasks.
    - Building and upgrading facilities
    - Operating the mill, silo, composter, and more
    - Using premium or super feeds, fertilizer, etc.
    - Planting the special reward seeds like roses, sunflowers, etc.

Take a look at the info available in-game. Click on a building, then choose the i in a blue circle. It will tell you how many xp are awarded for upgrading, and if you click on the 'Product information' tab, it will tell you how many xp you get when you operate it.

Fruit Cake with cream: 1.625 XP per hour
Apple Pie: 2.6667 XP per hour
Almond Muffin: 3 XP per hour
Apple Turnover: 2.307 XP per hour

    I think that's right?
Looks like Almond Muffins are the most XP per hour.

Don't yet have the Flower Farm to check those numbers but shouldn't be hard to calculate if I find the info.

I really hate to wait until I level up? And so I was wondering. Hey, is there another way to level up besides experience points?

The only way to level up is XP, but there are lots of different ways to get XP
    • Building & upgrading (incl building decos)
    • Reward for completing some tasks
    • Using production buildings (Mills, silos, composters, bakery, shop, distillery, mixing plant)
    • From some contracts in the organic market
    • Rewards in some events
    • Mystery boxes
    • Some gold deals
    • Login bonus
    • Using premium/super/seaweed products on your farm
    • Planting Event seeds
    • Dog
    • Ship
From mystery boxes & some mini events (Wheel of Fortune) you can also win XP bonus's, such as double XP or XP from places you wouldn`t normally get it, such as stables & orchards.

So if you make the most of everything, you will level up fairly quickly, though the amount of XP needed to reach the next level, does increase as you get higher.

No, you can only level up by getting XP. You can get more XP if you get to the top 500 in the wheel of fortune (you get double XP for 48 hours)and sometimes you get another XP thing if you open a mysterious box. But it is only a chance. My husband got one which gave 20 xp for harvesting orchards (for 2 hours). At that moment he also had the wheel of fortune double Xp and got 40xp for an orchard. If you want to be able to do these ting reguraly you have to buy gold. We don't buy gold so we have to be lucky to get it and most of the times it takes us a week to level up at this stage (we are around level 145)
  • okay thx
  • I am playing the game and producing and participating in coop activities but I'm getting no experience points. I can't move to the next level. help!

You can get experience points from your silo, mill, composter, premium humus (blue bag), super humus (orange bag), completing tasks on the left hand side of the screen, building/upgrading, and sometimes from the co-op tree.

You won't get any experience points for the co-op projects, instead the co-op gets cooperative points for completing projects to help level up the co-op.

One other way to get experience points which was sort of listed, is watching videos. They give mystery boxes. Just saying.

i am doing the mill for chicken feed and get no xp nor do i get any xp when i collect eggs and only 1 when i feed the chickens. whats up. i need 23 more to level 15. i just started and am already ready to quit. UGH

  • You get XP when you harvest your mill (or silo or composter) but you do not get it for harvesting eggs or for feeding chickens with regular feed..... There are some special XP rewards that you can win occasionally one of which gives you XP for harvesting stables for a limited time, but normally you don`t get any for that.

When a bubble contains an XP, my count does not go up. Why not?

Just follow the tasks on the left side of the screen. They give pretty good amounts of XP. You can also mill lots of chicken feed to get quick XP. If you play a lot, you'll level up pretty fast. Good luck! :)

BTW I will start to become active on Big Farm because I had like a million other programs and I believe I had left like nine hundred thousand of them.
