Question on Horses task
It is taking way too many horseshoes to get the 14 level horse to even 15, so not gonna manage that one.
question is, if i breed them and get another horse, I'm assuming my 2 horses will disappear and I'll be left with one new one. Will it take less horseshoes to get that one to 20 and as my first horse with level 22 will have gone, will this still register on the task or will it go back to 0/2 horses with breeding value of level 20?
Thanks

A friendly advice: you should breed your horses more often. Train a new horse to lvl 13 or 14 and then breed them. Training a new horse from 0 to 20 is a big vaste of horshoes.
I have 1 at the moment, and if it disappears after breeding, will I have to then still train 2 horses again to level 20 or will the one that disappeared after breeding still count as 1 ?
So you need a stall with three spots to be able to do this. So once again:
1. Buy a horse no. 1. and train it to lvl 13.
2. Buy a horse no. 2 and train it to lvl 13.
3. Breed horse no. 1 and no. 2 to get a horse no. 3.
4. You are left with a single horse no. 3. Train it to lvl 20 (better even higer).
5. Buy a horse no. 4 and train it to lvl 13 (now you have 2 horses: no. 3 and no. 4)
6. Buy a horse no. 5 and train it to lvl 13 (three hoses in a stall)
7. Breed horses no 5 and no 4 to get a horse no 6. and train it to lvl 20 (or higher).
8. You fullfiled a task. You have two lvl 20 horses (no 3. and no. 6).
This is still better than training two horses to lvl 20 without breeding.
Though I am not 100% sure about the part where your 20 still counts if you breed it... The task says to "have" 2 horses doesn`t it? and I think the intention is to have them & then the next task is to breed them. But I have never tried what you are suggesting so, you could well be ok... I guess you will soon know if you breed it and the task changes to 0/2 lol 8|
If you followed aaabbb1's scenario, it would not cost you as many horseshoes to train them up.
If you would breed those 2, the foal will level up a LOT faster than your current 19. I think if you breed 15 & 19 you could end up with a foal of about lvl 17.
You could even then buy 2 more horses, train those up to lvl 12-ish, breed them, level the foal up to 17, breed it with aforementioned foal and get a foal that trains even faster.
Every next generation of foals trains faster.
Kak, with all the numbers and foals, I have no idea if this is clear. I'm gonna make an example with names, to make it easier.
Your horse 15 and horse 19 make a foal, we call it Harry (probably about lvl 17)
You then buy 2 green horses: Jack and Jill. You level both up to 12/13ish and breed them. We call the foal Jane.
You then level up Jane to lvl 17 and breed her with Harry.
And their foal should train up even faster!
It definitely takes a lot of breeding to get good horses, some people rather not name them, so they won't get too attached to them.
I decided to just draw up a pretty family tree, which also helps me to keep track of what on earth I was planning again
I already get confused now and then with my own horses, if I'd let them all keep the name Goldy, I wouldn't be able to understand any of it anymore.
One of my friends in the coop also has a foal of a green and a bred parent and that horse seems to be doing pretty well.
