You get breeding effects at level 10, 20, 35,50,70, and 90. the new horse level.
Also having stable upgraded to allow you to have more horses to work with.
Even after this the task is still not complete.
I want my pony back....
When you breed your horses, the parents goes away, and you got a new and better horse
That's the way this breeding thing breeding works.

There is several threads with questions and answers and tips about the horses.
Here is one of these threads:

No. You bred 2 horses and now you have only 1
The 2 you breed always disappear.
In their place you get a new horse which is the average of their levels but is much cheaper to train.
Have a look at website "Larinos corner". Lots of explanation and help.
Thank you!

When you breed 2 horses in order to get a new foal, the parents leave to make space for the new generation. It is best to breed horses that are close in level (breeding value), because your foal's level will be the average of the parents' levels. Here are the benefits of that breeding:
- you have a great new foal that is much more easily trained (fewer horseshoes will be required to train this foal than its parents)
- you did not lose progress, as this foal's level is the average of its parents'
- you may have a better breeding quality now (and better BQ means better breeding affects will be available for you to choose when breeding this horse)
- you have space in your stable (and horse training needs lots of space for your horses at all their different levels so you can pick the best matches for breeding)
- you will gain a new breeding effect slot at level 10, 20, 35, 50, 70 & 90 and adding a breeding effect greatly improves your foal's abilities in competitions
So, train your new foal a few times (preferably 2000 horseshoes at a time) and look forward to your next competition. If you become attached to a name, rename the new foal the same name. Personally, I only name my top horses fun names and name the others after the attribute I am training them toward (racing, dressage, jump, etc). The one thing that does not make sense in your post is that you said you have 2 new horses. Perhaps you bought a new Goldy to train, too.
Mods, please pass along that it would be more transparent to not rely on the original notification of the horse areas to inform us of such an important point. Please consider replacing the notes we have when the breeding option is viewed in the stable (see below). Perhaps something like this would work instead:
"After breeding, both parents will go away to make room for the foal. The foal's training levels will be the average of the parents', it will cost less to train, its BQ may increase, and it may receive an extra breeding effect."
Making this change would go a long way toward having people feel better about the horse areas and feel much safer in breeding their horses with more knowledge.
If is somebody available (or know) to respond at the question that appears in the Notice Board,
Information on the Platinum league:
''You have to challenge and beat 50 players in 'Platinum I' to move up to the Diamond league''
Thank you for your answer.
For me is a little confusion.
That was because with my maths 50 challenges (supposing to win) x 4 points = 200.
And if you are in Platinum I at 1175 points (bottom level) adding 200 means...Diamond league.
But now is clear.
it works for me...
doesn't make sense, but guess that's the way it is...
