Larino's Corner might have a spreadsheet about this.
Hi Lelkilroy,
If you hover your cursor over the Happiness meter at the top of your screen (the bar with the Smiley face on it) you will see some calculations there.
It shows the negative happiness from building/upgrading houses on your farm, offset by positive happiness from decorations, fence, gate, dog, retro classic farm machine & giving your resulting happiness score. This score is then used to calculate the % reduction you will get on all production costs on your farm.
So the numbers you are describing from the calculator, are based on that % reduction. The further your meter is into the green section, the higher the costs reduction will be & consequently, the more profit you will make on everything that you do on your farm.
I do understand how happiness affects the farm and everything we do on the farm. I also can reason that some of our costs will NOT go away as the cost of purchasing the seed for crops etc. All I am asking is why is the number different on each item. Again if there is no answer - that is ok.
Thanks again for your explanation.
OK Just took another look. I GET it now. The number is different due to the cost of each item being different. The numbers are percentage of reduction of the production cost for each item. DUH! I was thinking like 50% across the board so why do they all not say 50%. Sorry and thank you again. I got it. I guess you can close this thread now.
