Bakery Storage
Does the storage for the baked products increase at all? Is it always only 1,000 for each kind of baked good?
The description only says that each upgrade requires fewer ingredients for each recipe. But all my baked goods are nearly maxed out (only the lack of peaches holding me back) already with only 1,000 storage and each recipe yields several hundred servings. With fewer ingredients, that would allow making more with less, but what's the point if you are maxed out of storage for each product?
Twiddling my thumbs and trying to plan ahead while waiting for upgrades to get done one at a time. Should not have participated in that last event, my list of upgrades for my gourmet farm keeps growing and growing.
So much farming, so little time. All that money I saved up is practically burning a hole in my virtual wallet. Thought I'd put more time into baking, but that's about maxed. Do I keep baking each item and selling the excess food I bake? So far my money growth is just from selling production overflow. But if I start selling the baked overflow... Kaching!

Of course!. The prupose of baked goods is to sell them. They can not be used further in any production chain. The only reason (for now), why they are put in a barn and not sold automaticaly is because our good capitan asks for fruit cake from time to time.
So have your bars full and sell excess or sell imidiately after backing (except for a small amout of fruit cake). I presonaly filled up the barns and now I am selling the excess. This way I have a stock of goods which I can sell in a case of emergency.
The captain now asks me for lavender. I find it amusing in an annoying way. But I am now level 41, so I was able to upgrade my peaches. Peaches are still updating now. When I am able to expand the gourmet farm, I think I might get another peach orchard. I also added another cow shed, so I should be able to keep the bakery always running and enjoy selling them. Have the money for many upgrades already, but waiting constantly, so much time to think about plans for the farm while watching the construction clock.
You have a lot of duck coops. That is a lot of eggs.
I think that only works for the main farm... so more peach orchards wouldn't help with events, but they could definitely speed up fruit cake production.
I also remember feeding goats in a "feed cows x times" task on main farm (not sure if it was for an event or a regular one).
So, normally, I rush to the bakery to see if I can make something to use up the eggs instead of selling them. But I've been keeping the bakery running, so nothing I could do but sell the eggs. I often have to sell the eggs - is this normal for others?
I went to harvest my two apple orchards and the apples were also maxed. I chose to wait until the bakery was finished instead of selling all those apples. Two orchards might not seem like much if you are on a high level, but the captain asks for large quantities of the apples more than the peaches. I am on level 41 and can't upgrade my barns until level 43. I better ramp up my bakery production, it will cost 2 million per barn to gain more storage!
Selling is totally normal, it makes you money! Even as you upgrade your storage, you will be upgrading your production too, so you should always have lots of surplus goods to sell, it just means you are doing a good job. ^^
You should get used to that. It never ends, lol.
