I am extremely ticked off by them constantly going on. I sent a ticket thru support telling them they need to stop it. Am curious as to what their reply is

Their response will probably be that this is not an appropriate reason to send a ticket into the already overloaded support.

I would like to offer a suggestion for the EricaJ as well as all the other cooperative leaders and serious members, if I may? lol Just seems real important for the game levels to match between all the members. In other words coops should only accept new recruits who fit. That way they can decide what is most important... doing events or doing projects. Highest level players don't honestly need those happiness decos, now do they? By the time you grow your farm you already have them, whether you won them or paid for them, because you just have to have them. Newbies, I'm sure, want more events... and should join with other newbies in very newbie cooperatives. But, as we all know, it seems more sensible to not waste time getting to the top. Just sayin'

There are many factors that determine fit.
That way they can decide what is most important... doing events or doing projects.

Most people want to do both - I see no reason why we should have to choose one over the other.
Highest level players don't honestly need those happiness decos, now do they?

Some do - and some enjoy doing the events even if they don't need the decs. It takes a lot of decs to fill 3 farms.
Newbies, I'm sure, want more events... and should join with other newbies in very newbie cooperatives.

I'd rather not try to second guess what other people want - they often surprise me - lol.

Many new players prefer to join established co-ops, and established co-ops often need to take in new players to grow or replace those who have moved on.

I honestly have to wonder how it all feels to those who have started only recently. Adding constant back to back themed events to... acclimating to the game, a co-op, missions, and everything else - might feel pretty overwhelming. I can't imagine when they would have time to upgrade production buildings they need to do events all the time.

I sent GGS a ticket about this but I am doing the highest level right now. I just wish I did not have to worry about doing this every week, it get tedious.

Tedious is the word, yep. And they are coming around so often now that it gets boring... I haven't built half of the themed event decos I've won, so why do I want to knock myself trying to get more?

At first I felt like some of the others, that I was missing something, but I skipped two events completely to focus on my upgrades and regular farms and I actually feel much less stressed. Hopefully if/when the Halloween event actually starts I will be able to focus my new-saved energy fully on it! :)

i am doing the hardest level and even though i am almost half done it almost is like the wildflower missions & corn missions, tedious, which is why i stay away from them as much as i can. i am drawn to it but sooner or later i am going to burn out on them and just ignore them, you can only have so many 74 & 78 decos

It is all about the gold.......plain & simple.

This is a business trying to make a profit.....just like any other business. Events apparently hike up gold purchases.

Has anyone ever heard the following axiom "The customer is always right"? , does this apply in the case of GGS?

You have to keep in mind that there are also many who are not in co-op's...they just run their farms and these events are added entertainment for them....in other words just as projects are to co-op members, events likewise are to non co-op members.

So no, i don't think there are too many events and as others have said..it's optional. It ensures there is always one available to play for those who want extra things to do who are not in a co-op

Idd Patriciamission, I think it's too much too. I'm usually not a fond of events, but of course, there are more players so I attune to them, but non-stop events is really too much! Maybe a week events, then 3 days pause, a week events, 3 days pause...?

Well I am not in a co-op either, but the pace is still to stressful for *me*. I like having things to do but too many events right on the heels of one before it leaves very little time to do anything OTHER than events.

And seriously, once you have decos what's the point? My farms are all at a high happiness level, I still have a lot of decos in my inventory and frankly, looking for breadcrumbs and fireflies and running feed all the time gets boring. But that's MHO.

My coop dose research and project when events are going on they just try to do projects that "sync" with the events.

Like if you know the event calls for lots of apples we do the Apple project.

I like having event back to back. I skip some of them when I do not feel like doing them or do a lower difficultly level so I finish with in a day or two. How ever the back to back events always give me something to do IF I choose to.

You have to remember this is a game and you have a choice not to do an event if you feel over whelmed. After all you know the event will be back and you can just do it next time.

So why are you stressing yourself if you already have the decos and bored doing the events...gotta remember there are alot of other members who feel differently and enjoy them..plus there is always new members popping up. What makes you feel like you HAVE to do the events..i don't get

I just play my game as usual and what ever stuff i get along the way great..if i complete it great if i don't oh well no biggie. I can see how it might be a pain for co-ops and having to plan around them..but non co-op members...we got time on our hands if we really want to win all the events around the clock.

I want to clarify, you do get the same things, but, you get a larger quantity of items, or more experience points, also, a higher happiness, deco level 1 is 54 hapiness, level 4 is 78 happiness

I don't mind back to back Events, at level 130 I've got 5 78 :) deco's sitting in my drop box I can't use anywhere, when events 1st started I was passed level 55, so this event I did the lowest level to get the 54 :), this keeps things ticking over + the rewards for finishing each task.
As a Co-Op leader I send to each of our members a list of tasks for their level & try & find a project that fits in with the Event, if nothing fits in then old reliable "Cheesed Off" to the rescue.
This works for me, but maybe it's not for everyone.
    Happy Farming

I don't believe I said I was stressing myself out. I said the pace of constant events is too stressful for me. Which is an opinion, which I believe I am entitled to have just as you are entitled to yours.

Nowhere did I say, either, that I feel/felt I HAVE to do events. I am currently NOT doing the Asia event because 1) I don't like the decos and 2) I just finished the Fairy Tale event (again) and got bored.

So, you know. Maybe next time you can just ask your question instead of reading more into what I said than I meant, thank you kindly.

If you don't like too many events, don't do them! It's a choice, you are not pressured into it. If you pressure yourself into it, that should not be GGS's problem I think.

I am enjoying the back to back events and if it gets too rough, I'll do a lower level.

if you don't like doing so many events, then don't do them. It's a choice. I wish they'd have started doing this sooner. As a player who doesn't use gold to buy everything I want, I like earning a new high value deco every week for my farms.

So many like them so many do not like them back to back. Someone should start a poll on the topic with out comment.

I would love to see the numbers to see if more or less people like them back to back. Be very interesting to know.

Woah! You can choose the level of events? I thought that was just randomly decided by the game. How do you pick the level? I'm guessing you can't change it once you start/finish the first segment.

The difficulty level that you play depends on what level you are at, until you have won the 74 happiness decoration. After that you can choose which level you want to play for that event each time.

So do people think we'll get the Hawaiian event today or tomorrow? It should be next on the rotation, the island is no longer running, and someone official (Latten?) confirmed a while back that it wasn't gone for good.

Has any considered since GGS does not want to listen to us thru this forum about missions every week to start sending them thru email support complaints about these mission? Wh doesn't everyone start emailing GGS directly. I have a feewling GGS will delete this message but it needs to be done. Maybe they will listen to us then because they will be forced to read our messages

Do you mean the events like the current Alien one?

You can just ignore Missions if you want

As for events many Big Farmers like them. It gives goals for their farming. You could also just them ignore them too if you don't want to take part

Although I know some agree with you, I think there are a lot more who disagree

I agree with marissa but there is always an option which i use, not to even open it or start it, the only thing that bothers me is it seems that GGS does not want to even deal with the issue, they just started doing it wqithout any tuype of notice to the players, which in itself says alot.

    I agree with Samty.
Clearly some people like them and some people don`t, so obviously it is better to have them & those that don`t want to do them, can just ignore them. :)
