    We can't play 24/7!!

Why not? And if you feel pressure to complete events, maybe you will buy gold to rush through them. This is a business... and that doesn't bother me. I hope Goodgame Studios is making fat profits; I like the game. It's up to me to refrain from spending cash I can't afford to lose.

I can hardly pass an hour without Coke screaming at me to Drink Coke; if I would spend every moment with a Coke in my hand, I'm sure Coke would be delighted. Big Farm is comparatively low pressure. Enjoy!

The problem with constant events is that you make the event a priority (at least I do), and the missions are ignored. I also don't make many upgrades to my farm during events since I am not at a point where I am making enough money to manage both. This means you end up leveling up so much slower. I like the events when they happen occasionally, but this one right after another thing is ridiculous and exhausting in my opinion.

I had a similar conversation with someone in my co-op about events v missions BUT they hadn't realised that they both are counted so there's no reason not to do either. What I mean is, just to make it clear, if the event is asking you to grow & harvest corn and you have a mission for growing * harvesting corn, whatever corn you grow will count towards both, so you're not having to choose one or the other ;)

I do not know if this matters or been addressed, but when tthe event happens I try to start a coop project that has things you need on an event, a mission and continue doing the event such as needing corn for an event. That way there are 3 things going on at the same time, the mission is tricky because it is not guaranteed to be a corn mission, but when it does, it definitely is worth it

i would suggest holding off as long as you can to place the tower, you can take your time deciding where to put it.

Not gonna finish the Fairy Tale Event. 30 minutes to go I need 160 fireflies and the drop rates sticks on my farm. I won't spend coins, I want to earn the decos with hard work.X(

That tower provided high enough happiness that all of my farms could benefit from it. But the gourmet farm got to be the lucky one, because it is my favorite. I think when my bakery grows, the tower won't look so out of place.

What is going on with all the events ... like one finishes and 6 hours later there is another one ??? this is getting out of hand …we have no time for projects..upgrades..or just farming…why are we being punished this way…it is super crazy….the members are bombarding me with questions I need some answers….Please….:(

It keeps the game interesting. The benefits out weight the negatives, and there is no penalty for not finishing. If you have completed the highest level, you can select a lower level if you don't feel you'll have time during the week.

You have options. Do projects and upgrades or don't. It's all up to you, have fun farming!

    Good luck.

I really really really love doing the events BUT, I need time in between to upgrade and just relax. Plus, the cooperative I am a member of does not do projects when the events are running so, we need time for that as well.

I could skip an event entirely except when I see the prize I end up wanting it. This is torture and I'm burning out rapidly. Never used to be so many events and I looked forward to them... now, it's too much of a good thing, really.

Its good to have events. If you dont have time you can skip some of them. Without any event some people will just be bored with the routine game.

some players only finish an event just a few hours before that event end(not me)..so i think at least 1 or 2 days of "rest" would be nice before starting a new event..

I hated the back to back events at first... but now this is the 4th week with the events being back to back and I LOVE it now.... I find that I am actually MORE active.. Our co-op does projects that "sync" with the events... as in... if it's the Asian event.. we'll do something like cabbage.... I'm used to the events now... Plus! I love the decos! Brings extra happiness! =)

Sorry MJ.. I am happy that you are enjoying them, but I know that people like a break. Some feel forced to be online so much more with events and most people like to be able to take a step back once in a while. I prefer the event to be every other week. I know these are not a requirement to do; it just seems like a waste of an upgradeable deco opportunity if you don't do them.

    Agree with Cat Adams...
Nowadays I decide to do an event this week, and skip an event the next week.... but it doesn't feel right, you know you are losing the opportunity of getting the nice rewards for every task as well as the end deco! :S

My guess is & this is just my opinion.... the "data" shows gold spend is up during events hence the month long event running with back to back events, bet they are making a fortune lol
But yeah agree with Patricia I used to look forward to them but now they just part of everyday life on the farm 24/7
It is possible to sync your projects with events get onto one of the spoilers work out what's needed & match it to projects.

I agree with MJ, weekly events are great!
I usually finish events in 2 or 3 days, get a few days break then I am ready for the next one, so it works out perfectly for me.
I realise thats not the case for everyone, but as others have said, they are optional, so its a lot easier for someone that does not want to take part to just skip it & have the events available for those of us that do want to do them - Besides, even if you don`t do the whole event, you stll get a reward for each step.

I guess this means Halloween event is just a "small event". And apparently one that takes a rather short time (wasn't easter event 2 weeks?).

Easter and Christmas events was 2 weeks indeed. Nowadays we seem to have 3 events at 1 time, so I wouldn't be surprised when the Halloween event will run next to other events.

I'm not a big fan of the weekly event, but if they feel like the need is there to do them weekly, then please come up with something new!

A break in between would be nice and also different events with different prizes beginning to get boring with the same events over and over again.

Count me among those who really dislike the constant themed events.

IME, coordinating co-op projects with events works a lot better in theory than in practice. People have different play patterns - play at different times of the day for different lengths of time, and move through the event steps at different rates of speed, which makes it nigh impossible to keep projects synched with event steps for every member. Add to that the fact that a lot of people want to be doing missions to earn certificates, and you've effectively removed quite a few projects from the table - which means we're left cycling the same projects over and over endlessly.

I would think you'd be more interested in supporting the long-term health and growth of co-ops than all of these other extraneous environmental doo-dads you keep adding to hold player's interest long-term. It seems to me that co-op involvement is a huge factor in keeping people around and interested long-term - much more than any other factor or event - yet you keep doing these things that make it more difficult for co-ops to function effectively.

Since this forum is intended for suggestions (along with the praise and criticism), I'll offer one:

If you're going to continue running themed events back to back, then please start publishing the schedule in advance so co-ops can plan accordingly. Thank you for your attention.

I am extremely ticked off by them constantly going on. I sent a ticket thru support telling them they need to stop it. Am curious as to what their reply is

How can I skip an event that is giving me such a valuable prize as this one... +64 happiness decoration? I can't even consider it. Lucky for me I am a retired person and can play all day because it does require that much of my time to finish. lol
