Why not? And if you feel pressure to complete events, maybe you will buy gold to rush through them. This is a business... and that doesn't bother me. I hope Goodgame Studios is making fat profits; I like the game. It's up to me to refrain from spending cash I can't afford to lose.
I can hardly pass an hour without Coke screaming at me to Drink Coke; if I would spend every moment with a Coke in my hand, I'm sure Coke would be delighted. Big Farm is comparatively low pressure. Enjoy!
I had a similar conversation with someone in my co-op about events v missions BUT they hadn't realised that they both are counted so there's no reason not to do either. What I mean is, just to make it clear, if the event is asking you to grow & harvest corn and you have a mission for growing * harvesting corn, whatever corn you grow will count towards both, so you're not having to choose one or the other
Finished Got me tower, now where do I put it

Very well done, congrats!
i would suggest holding off as long as you can to place the tower, you can take your time deciding where to put it.
You have options. Do projects and upgrades or don't. It's all up to you, have fun farming!
Good luck.
I could skip an event entirely except when I see the prize I end up wanting it. This is torture and I'm burning out rapidly. Never used to be so many events and I looked forward to them... now, it's too much of a good thing, really.
Nowadays I decide to do an event this week, and skip an event the next week.... but it doesn't feel right, you know you are losing the opportunity of getting the nice rewards for every task as well as the end deco! :S
But yeah agree with Patricia I used to look forward to them but now they just part of everyday life on the farm 24/7
It is possible to sync your projects with events get onto one of the spoilers work out what's needed & match it to projects.
I usually finish events in 2 or 3 days, get a few days break then I am ready for the next one, so it works out perfectly for me.
I realise thats not the case for everyone, but as others have said, they are optional, so its a lot easier for someone that does not want to take part to just skip it & have the events available for those of us that do want to do them - Besides, even if you don`t do the whole event, you stll get a reward for each step.
It's not new, but Hawaiian event would be nice for chance...
Or really something new (waiting for Halloween...)
IME, coordinating co-op projects with events works a lot better in theory than in practice. People have different play patterns - play at different times of the day for different lengths of time, and move through the event steps at different rates of speed, which makes it nigh impossible to keep projects synched with event steps for every member. Add to that the fact that a lot of people want to be doing missions to earn certificates, and you've effectively removed quite a few projects from the table - which means we're left cycling the same projects over and over endlessly.
I would think you'd be more interested in supporting the long-term health and growth of co-ops than all of these other extraneous environmental doo-dads you keep adding to hold player's interest long-term. It seems to me that co-op involvement is a huge factor in keeping people around and interested long-term - much more than any other factor or event - yet you keep doing these things that make it more difficult for co-ops to function effectively.
Since this forum is intended for suggestions (along with the praise and criticism), I'll offer one:
If you're going to continue running themed events back to back, then please start publishing the schedule in advance so co-ops can plan accordingly. Thank you for your attention.
I agree I decided not to do the last few and really felt like I was missing something!
