Has GGS Changed the time of the events now. They used to be about 2 weeks apart start time, today is the 3rd event that started almost immediately after the last one.

I agree! No fun now because there is no more variety anymore (one week event, the other week no event) within the game. Currently all days look the same. Very sorry!

i heard there will be a halloween events, maybe next week or even after the japanesse event? maybe thats the reason why the major events time changes, i hope there will be a hawaaiian events again :)

when the xmas event and easter event were going on the events stayed pretty much the same

this every week event is too much, i like one week to recoup from it and begin a new event fresh the next week

I used to really hate seeing the new events start. Maybe it's just since I started playing that they have the events so frequently, but it feels like it has always been that way since I started. I'm a fan of the events, even though I must bow my head in shame because I've only ever completed one. I guess I like them because they give me another option to make some money besides the ship. I'm always shaking my fist at the captain, but the events I just see as a friendly challenge knowing that others have completed the events, so it motivates me to try harder and try to think better.

I find the events more interesting than the missions, and since I've been trying to play each event, I haven't had the time to, or energy to then do missions as well. Most nights I even set my alarm to interrupt my sleep so I can keep up. So, having a few days to rest up between events would make it harder for me to make excuses about participating in the missions. Although I think I'm about all out of certificates. But the event rewards are more of a motivation for me than the certificates and rankings.

no, the halloween events is like a major themed events i think, the seasonal event like xmas or easter doesnt have their own decos right? i mean not the prize decos, but at least, who knows?

and one thing, i heard that hawaaiian events will come after the island gone and before it is come again... so im not sure when the hawwaiian events will come after the asia events or even before the camping events....

I do know the halloween event has decos, but I am not sure how it is going to work, If anything it may be a cross between events like the fairytale event and the xmas event. I have not heard anything yet about it

I am loving weekly events, I used to get bored on the weeks when there was no event, but I usually finish them pretty fast so I do get a few days off. I probably wouldn`t love them as much if a new one started the day after I finished the last one. So I can see why it wouldn`t be popular with everyone.

Who knows, maybe they're secretly testing who BUYS (omg!!!!) crops to complete events since they aren't giving any down time to actually grow crops & fill our barns.

    :p

Just finished the camping event with 12 hrs remaining. I leave for a couple hours and boom another event....Aw no rest. They pretty much wreck me every time I do one.

A suggestion is to not even start the fairy tale event until you take a couple days break, it will come around again

Yeah I wouldn`t like that ... I know I am lucky because I work on my puter, so I can pretty much tend my farm all day if I want to & can finish them fast. I would imagine weekly would be too often for most players.

What is the bad part is I am on the puter all day and half the night. Man.... I need a water tower

The problem with constant events is that you make the event a priority (at least I do), and the missions are ignored. I also don't make many upgrades to my farm during events since I am not at a point where I am making enough money to manage both. This means you end up leveling up so much slower. I like the events when they happen occasionally, but this one right after another thing is ridiculous and exhausting in my opinion.

Good thing is that they are optional, so no one loses anything by not doing them & there is a reward for each step if people want to just do part of them.... I prefer them being there for us to decide if we want to take part or not. ^^

I am exhausted from one event after another!! It has been non-stop themed events!
Thank goodness I don't have to do the Fairy Tale event for the towers as I have them all... so while i am taking a break from the events i am getting self-missions in and co-op missions done too!

"Who knows, maybe they're secretly testing who BUYS (omg!!!!) crops to complete events since they aren't giving any down time to actually grow crops & fill our barns."

ROFL starsie.. ya think it is so.. could be and how about those "gold deals plus 140 %" .... rofl!! The game wanted 49,000 pcs of gold for me to buy massive waterfall. I graciously declined the offer.

I can not understand why, you are allowed to give them around $40.00 for a decoration that is in the internet, that when you stop playing this game for an extended period of time may lose anyway. Go figure

Each step of the events has prizes that help you in your game. If you can't or don't wish to do them or finish them it is a choice. I think it is for the higher lvls to keep them busy. I saw it as a way also for people to earn good decorations much faster than we got to when we were lower lvls. There isn't a penalty for not doing them, so don't let it stress you out

that is why i do not care if or when i finish the events, i have all the decorations now minus 1 so i may just start doing the hardest ones for the rewards you get during it

I wonder if the early start means there is major update or maintenance planned? I usually only notice new theme event in the morning so it seems they have added the couple of hours they always say they've added from the beginning when there is something that might mean game is down for a while.

Edit: I guess the answer was there before my question.

I agree. I play a lot, but back to back Big Events is getting a little much. They take a lot of playing time to win. I really enjoy them, but I liked having a break and a small event in between. It was more enjoyable then. Gave me a chance to build my supplies up on my farm too. GGS! Please understand we have families, work, school, college, etc. We can't play 24/7!! I like some challenges, but having to play 24/7 to make those challenges, will just make for more unhappy players. Yes, I can skip events, but I don't want to miss out on things to help my farm! I WILL NOT use gold either! NO FUN!!! to just buy my way through the game!!!!!

umm, do you guys realize it? when the last time hawaiian events skiped, there is an island events, but now, if you countdown the island and do a math with weekly themed events, the hawaiian SHOULD (must) come after the island gone, i hope i was true, i really miss the tiki, hawaiian beach, etc :)

If you have them all now, wouldn't you want to replace all the lower level event decos with the Farm Specialist ones and then have all the Farm Specialist Ones on each Farm? That's what I am planning, whatever I can do to increase my happiness and reduce my operating costs, will help all my farms. I don't buy my way through the game wih gold--no fun in that!, so shows my accomplishments too (level 69 now) I suppose on a busy week, I might go for a lower one to replace regular deco of lower value. I wish we cold add happiness to decos, and freely use all decos on which ever farm we want to. Would be fun to do some theme decorating etc. But doesn't make much sense to replace high happiness decos with low ones, just for some nice decorating--at least in a business sense an IMO.

The main farm and the flower farm is where i put the highest decos, i can not move them to the flower farm, i am at -76 op cost there now, it is not worth it just to do the specialist decos just to replace the lower decos. I may in the future but do not see any immediate need

Too many of my members have complained of the back to back Events.
1: Makes it hard for them to upgrade and prepare for the next Event.
2: Hard to coordinate Projects to coincide with the Events.
    Co-ops have to grow too!
