Collection items & Co op gold. Latten please?

Can it be brought up that Co op Gold can also be used for collection items?

1. We understand that it may never happen that we all can add what we have to the collection and eventually add up to the amount needed. So make it a little more about teamwork(yes even if it involves gold).
2. Co op gold will no longer get frozen once all co op Research is complete.
3. Some of us have no reason at all, to buy during the Prime Time that gives X amount to the co op when purchasing gold. Here's a reason to purchase at this time.

I think that's three, good enough, reasons to consider this idea. I'm sure this would be considered a 'somewhat good idea' since it pertains to Buying Gold. I brought this up once before and would like to know if anything is being considered at this time?

I would edit my post, but then it would be right down there with the other post i added. A simple NO would be appreciated, if thats the case. But ignoring it altogether is rude. thanks

the CM's have a talent for pretending threads dont exist, especially the ones having to do with players being able to save a little gold.(trust me i know.)

Pretty sure that gold goes to the same place as the gold we accidentally spend when the errant cat walks on our keyboards or our toddler spends it for us intentionally or not...

never mind ignoring. I've had complete posts of mine wiped out and moderated out just because they weren't happy shiny fluffy bunny pro-game and the like. A bit like Disney Land. Don't show a death here, hose the area down and keep playing the music, lol.

Just so I don't get blamed for going off topic.... I don't see why it couldn't be done. The gold is technically obtained through "legal" and fair means, it should be able to be spent. If anything really, it would likely make co-op gold buys ( where you buy some and an amount that gets donated to co-op happens) more sought after. IE : more gold buying. That's just my .02

Truuuuuuust me, i do know how The People Here, completely ignore post. Sometimes I would like to see an answer to some of those questions and they go ignored.

I don't see what this would hurt. Sdfktgk, That is what i thought too, it would help gold buying so why not try.

So many keep buying during these Coop Primes. Its not right for GGS to just take the money from us. For now our coop isn't buying those prime because GGS makes it a waste for us. Its their loss too not just ours because people won't buy when they cannot get the use of what they pay for. Its not right.

you guys should both know well enough by now that they either ignore the suggestions ( and a lot would actually be helpful. I'll agree that some are lunacy) or mod it all out. They just want to hear and have the n00bs read that the suggestions and changes THEY make are the positive ones. Anything else would risk profits.

If it doesn't agree with the idiology, they wipe it out or pretend it doesn't exist. If they don't catch it, one of thier sycophant ne'er do wells will bash you for daring to say ill against the system. That's how it rolls, folks. Sad, yet true.

We exist in a "game" where ability means more than rank. Then they realized that the players saw that, and created a "friendly" competitive way where rank matters.

Then they realized the math didn't support long term playership ( read : payers of gold ) so they devised a whole new element that forces you to play ( yes, yes it DOES. Shush, you rabble that suggest it's only an option) a way to promote that alignment.

They still choose to ignore that even they do not have a path of action on the mysterious horse thingy that is a big mystery. All the while, letting east be against west, the yes people go and fight the finger pointers and noticers of common sense.

It's quite a clever business. No product or beta testing. No real focus group work to see if something is worthwhile. All the mistakes make money, so how can they be wrong? Hard to tell somebody they are wrong when they have the money rolling in.

Go ahead..... mod out all what I just said. I expect it. That's the point. Predictable and tasteless at this point. Then again, I am not a minor with access to a parent's paypal account or a stay at home anything. Therfore, not your target consumer.

Assuming that gets wiped out ( I firmly believe it will at some point)...I will say this much for the current subject matter in order to derive an on-topic subject matter..... Not only would it drive sales and further revenue, it would be a good hook for a co-op and the higher-up players. It would provide synergy between the now bored crew and the new players alike to both have something in common.

Also.... and this is my own private agenda..... if you are going to have missions to compete for certificates, why not have a way to do missions within the co-op as well? Bragging rights, if you will. I don't see why not. The element is already there. It just requires code to make it happen in another faction.

Maybe the CM's have more to do than read the forums all day. 2 days without an answer I don't see as a reason for complaining yet.

Well Gwendolen, if you would read the whole thing, you would realize that i made a thread prior to this one about the same subject and didn't get one answer. Permission granted?
Also i highly doubt they have too much more to do. Since we are the lab rats. Make it, test it out, shut down server for ten minutes. DONE. They hardly have a clue about their own game.

Sdf, Ohh i loved the laugh. At least I got to read all of the truthful comments before they get erased. Also i love the idea of co op missions.

Very true. Remember all the negatives said about the architect, one whole thread was deleted!

Players are far more likely to donate gold to coop if its not wasted. Maybe the devs have to ignore this great idea because they are so busy working on their Horse myth, and all that player feedback about wanting island rankings.

    Heya,

coop gold won't be usable for Collectibles, but we have a few ideas on what to do with it on higher coop levels :) It's one of the things we want to add after we're done with the horses and everything, so be patient :P

    Greetings,
    Timo

Question ... apologies if it has been asked/answered elsewhere (if it has can't find it!)

Collectibles for co-op projects ... I am a co-op member (and a team player in the real world) ... I have, on many occasions tried to donate collectibles to the projects. I haven't been playing that long so my amount of collectibles is not that big - BUT ... I cannot contribute what I have if I don't have the full amount.

Why isn't there a system whereby co-op members can put collectibles (any amount) into a co-op collectibles "Bank" to be used for the projects? ?(

Its true: you can donate collectables to the coop only if you have full amount.

This issue was raised several times already, but GGS said a big fat NO to the co-op collectables "bank" and they keep saying NO over and over again. They said that it would mess their balancing system. Sorry.

Just use your gold to buy XP outright, now that is possible. Why spend time learning how to play this?

Do not understand GGS stance on this ... however, thanks for taking the time to answer, appreciated.

BigT4.... basically, they are aware that they have to do "something" soon, but it's not in the scope of current thoughts. Is it an issue? yes. Is it so big that it's a major one? Not really. Why? Because the percentage of co-ops with excess gold versus the ones who don't have this problem are minor.

It would behoove them to see this as a very good foreshadow, though. Minor problem now ( large for the few co-ops that have it ) that will grow out of hand quickly as people level up. Why do I say quickly? As musicdoc above pointed out, it's easier to "buy" advancement in this game now.

At least this question was answered or seen as asked. Ya can't ask for much more than that as it was the original gripe. We didn't feel we were heard, and at least now we know it's getting somewhere. The gripe wasn't the gold so much as the people behind it feeling lost without a light to be seen, so to speak.

I think I got the jist of it, no? Hope so, anyways.

Hi guys.... I only have like 89 gold, and I need more. How do I get some???

    SantinoloveYou

Here is a short answer. If you want longer one, please start another thread (question is of the topic)

The fastest and easiest way to gain a lot of gold is by buying it for real money. You press little plus button where the amount of gold is listed and it will open a site on which you can buy gold.
Bare in mind that GGS gives some extra rewards for buying gold, so, if you intent to buy gold, better wait for those. The best offer is 200% more gold for your money.
You can gain some small amounts of gold without buying it, too (leveling up, on fourth and sometimes fifth day as a log-on bonus and some other ways). If you like to know more about those, please open a new thread.

Regarding chicken coops: you just have to build more of them, when you get enough money.
