Lonely Solo Missions

No matter what time of the day I am playing mission solo. I have played over 30 in the last 2 days and only 1 had another player. I have played missions from 6AM to 10PM and all by myself very boring. Very hard to get rep point and certs when playing missions solo. X(

our co op just timed a start to c if I would go with someone else, all other players had other member but me. so another solo AHHHHHHHH

next mission again 6 of us timed start, 1 of which is higher in rep points ranking than me the others below, the higher one went in mish with the others and only I was solo. very frustrating

WHAT mission could not and still can't be chosen.

This might be a tip Byron. Can't test it but like Jiesta said, some players got missions with people in it when waiting for the "announcing tab". Hope this helps with the lonely missions.

18 more missions all solo. I am at 53 str8 all solo.

Hmmm that's weird I have done lot's of missions and only 1 of them was solo.

this is not funny anymore, reported it to support. No response. Still solo missions. I am getting very frustrated and now becoming very annoyed with GGS lack of support/response. now over 50 str8 solo missions and still got probs. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I play on three servers. Only the AU one ever gives me a loner and that's only about half the time.

Still.... These missions purely suck!
I have level 5 tractors that are suppose to boost certificates. And yet I never get more than 40 at a time tops.
This morning I got 40 something for coming in fourth place. Got less for second and first place on the other two.
And since I need some 1400 to upgrade anything, what's the point?

As for doing missions when the little pop up thing comes up? Sure you'll get more players BUT....
I want to start a mission when I first get on and have everything ready to harvest. Once I do one, starting another is usually pointless. Seems I usually end up with the exact same mission and everything has been harvested.

No, I'll do my one in the morning, just because this is a game and it's "doing stuff." But they really are a disappointment as far as a game element goes. That and the stupid island. Kind of ignoring that this time around.

I should add, I really HATE the flower missions. Special seeds take JUST too long to use without wasting gold, and sitting here clicking flower patches every two min is usually SO boring I just don't care. Get a few just to get something and forget about it for the day.

It would be nice if at least missions came in order. We could plan ahead a bit. This is a farm game. Farmers plan ahead all the time.

I get about 100 certs if I do solo mission, but if I do a mission with others I can get up to 500.

In the last week I have done way over 100 missions and 99% have been solo the others are with 1 other player. Boring and waist.

I am running 9th so far this week on AU for rep points, but I would be a lot higher if I could get some missions with others, so far this week I have not had a single mission that was not solo. I know the ones above me are getting missions with other as they have been against others is my co op. This is no fair.

Last week I came 4th with 99% of my missions solo, could have won if I had same number of missions as others, as the ones above me.

Still have heard NOTHING from support from either my 2 tickets on 2 different faults. First is 3 days old now.

I agree with you Byron about the amount of certificates gained, I just did a " lonely mission" put in 7 fields…. 6 of them level 7, 1 fertile level 3, with special corn, and super humus, still only got 50 certificates Forgot to add I am supposed to get 35% extra certificates as well for a level 3 tractor.

Just done yet another "lonely mission" collected 6,282 eggs and only received 61 certificates.

I just did another solo and did 11999 eggs getting only 117 certs if I was with someone, it would have been about 450 certs ahhhhh and rep points are 16k compared to 50k

today's count 15 = total 68 str8 lonely missions

farmerbryan7 and Dai are both above me in rep point, this week and have gone in with another member of my co op who is way below me Awesome Alex. But again I am alone. Alex and I started search at same time AHHHHHHHHHHH

Don't waste your time Byron... GGS has known this problems for weeks and has done squat (what else is new? ) to fix it. I have the same problem at my end and what can we do. GGS has received enough complaints about it that if they really wanted to address the issue, they would have posted something about it which yet remains to be seen.

So at the end of the day, welcome to another broken feature of a game from GoodGame Studios.

Thanks for info, I would not even mind so much if reward for solo was half of what winning with others. But the few puny rep and certs you get when solo is a joke, in comparison

You get roughly 2nd place certs for being a solo. As for being alone, I'm sure it has to do with the matching engine since I've not had a solo since the island started, and I play 12-16 a day.

After 67 str8 solo I finally got a mission with someone else, not bad 67-1 I do not like those odds

MEE8 and I got a mission together this AM, but this has been my only mission that was not solo.

AKAIK it matches people based on performance rather than level, it sounds like there is a shortage of people doing missions on au1 and even less performing at the same level as you, which sucks for you. I don`t know if you put out some really low scores in a few solo missions, if you would then be matched with lesser mortals, but I guess if it did work that way you would just wipe the floor with them once you got some opponents.

Either way sounds like a yukky predicament to be in.

'This is not a bug though. Sometimes players are too good in the missions and there are no possible competitors nearby. Sometimes you have to play alone and after some time you will start to getting opponents. '

Just for info, so looks like a lot of solo missions for me AHHHH or do not worry about them at all

Not clear from that whether or not you can lower your own level by performing badly in the solo missions or if you are stuck at the high level once you get up there - If I was you I would give it a try, as 60+ missions with no opponents is pretty dire.

This is the second time this has happened to me, so I feel justified in waging a complaint. It could be a bug of sorts and if so might render helpful. I clearly placed higher than the mission gave me on completion, I know I placed 2nd and received 3rd or placed 3rd and received 4th. I don't know how but it happened. I also spent gold and feel like it was wasted.

If you would please look into this it would be much appreciated.

it has happened to me around 20 - 30 times, when it does i minimize how much i harvest, never use gold (Because it is a waste), and wait for the mission i want, to come up with other players.

I have been playing without opponents for the past 3 months. complaints registered and still no action! Really frustrating!!

this new match-making style is ridiculous!! We have tried all sorts of clicking with members! Nothing worked!

Nowadays I can predict my missions:

I try to only play 5-6 missions per day, as I don't like to be tethered to my screen all day.

This morning I started with a dung mission (ALONE!). So I predicted to my coop members: let's bet my next mission will be a dung mission too, but this time with opponents (because then I won't have any dung left anymore). Guess what? My second mission was a dung mission again.
My third mission was a flower mission (ALONE!); same happened as the above. My 4h mission of course was a flower mission again, this time with 5 opponents (lost hugely of course, because I didn't have any Special flowers + humus anymore).
My 5th mission was an egg mission (of course ALONE!), then I had again 3 egg missions in a row, all being put up against huge chicken farms (with more then 20 chicken & duck coops)... Nowadays I always get far more egg missions than any other mission!

I just went on playing because I wanted to be confirmed in my predictions.

Of course, when I finally got a corn mission I found myself ALONE! again. The next mission turned out to be a corn mission again (what's new?), this time with 5 opponents of course and no special corn + humus anymore on my fields!

But as I am experienced now - I knew my next mission couldn't be anything else then WF - so I quickly sowed Special WF's on all my fields in the spare time when the system is searching for a new mission. Guess what: I got my flower mission (luckely some opponents also) and finally won a mission and finally got a decent amount of certificates.

This goes on since 2 months now - I can predict exactly what missions I will get and if I will get any opponents or not....... Strange, very strange!?(

Some while ago I posted about all the missions I was doing alone, occasionally I get the odd partner, but more often I have to play alone which means I don't get nearly as many rep points as I would competing with someone else, I have always thought well hey ho thats the way the cookie crumbles so to speak.
But now we have the cooperative missions and we are playing for prizes!!!
It does not seem fair getting the lowly points tally for doing missions alone, maybe something should be done about this, like give the same points for the same amount collected for first place no matter whether it be 1 person or 6 people playing, seems a lot fairer.
Anyway rant over back to lonely missions!!

Since 3 months I played a lot of missions on my own too. And in the rare occasion I had 1 or 2 opponents, they did not make a move, so they ended with 0 produce.
Now, since the last update I find myself constantly with 5 opponents in missions, who play all equally grim!!!
