new members randomly turning up in my co-op

Ok, this is either really strange or I'm missing some important info about how co-ops work.

These players who suddenly appear in my list of members are people I've invited to join. But I should still be able to approve them first, right?
I get no notification about their applications, they just appear on the list and in co-op's activity log.

One of them actually donated collectibles and then left a few minutes afterwards. 8|
The other one left shortly as well.

If by invite do you mean send a message or you used the official invite option.

Accepting the official invite will put them in your co-op as soon as they accept. it is assumed if you have invited them then have already vetted and approved them. That is what the invite is for

Guess I got it all backwards, lol.

I used the official invite option. What was confusing for me was that the three other members I already have, received the same official invite – but I also received their applications shortly after, which I could then deny or accept. It was at this point that I sent personal messages to them (before actually accepting them into the co-op), making sure they could speak English, etc.
Well, mystery solved, lol... Thank you, Samty.

Actually I think there was a bug before that the official invite and accepting the invite did not work but you had to apply.. Look like GGS fixed the bug.

It seems like accepting the invite erroneously put you in the application screen while the bug was 'active'. It is meant to be an instant accept and add to the co-op. And before the bug it also worked like that. Now, like Woodstock says, they apparently fixed the bug.

That makes sense. I wasn't aware of the bug at the time as I was only starting to get the hang of things... so I didn’t quite understand how it should actually work. All good now. :)
    Thanks Woodstock and Larino. :)
