Bees are supposed to be rare and hard. You need to play actively and switch crops to get them. Sunflowers seem to have a 100% drop chance, as I experienced the last couple of times. If you have some sunflower seeds, try to use them around the end of the event to get the remaining bees.

yes they are rare, but you have 3 full days in which to find 10. And you have nearly 2 days (over 46 hours as I type) left

Keep sowing and harvesting the fields and you will find it is very doable

You aren't doing anything wrong, Teri23. You just need to keep planting and harvesting your fields. Some crops produce more bees, like your overnight wheat. Sunflowers have a 100% drop rate. You should vary your crops to get the best results and find what works. For example, if you don't get any with corn, switch to wildflowers, etc. Good Luck!

Edit: I need to learn to type faster! lol

Thx you guys. That's what I've been doing. Guess I just need patience!!! Although, collecting the UFO pieces was easy, that's what was confusing me. And when you say sunflower....I hope you mean wildflowers cuz I don't have sunflower seeds. Thx again.

No we mean sunflowers. Wild flowers would be too easy, they are ready in 2 mins. Sunflowers take 8 hours to mature. So next time you get sunflower seeds anywhere, save them for the bees events. The ufo pieces are supposed to drop in about 1 day (when very active) to be able to make it through the entire event. All different tasks have different drop rates and the bees are known to be slow - on the other hand, you also need only 10. You needed many more UFO parts :)

Click on the yellow beetle car with Eva Apple. It holds a hive. The coloured bees are the ones you've got, the black bee outlines with question mark are the ones yet to be found.

Did you make it through? Do you have 10 (or 20) rose seeds and 5 super humus in your inventory? Also, you can only see the bee event when you are on your main farm. If it is not there and you did not finish it yet, try to clear caches.

Some folks have lost the shell trader and the bee lady. I'm assuming the curent down time is to restore them

    From Samty
Our server is down and some others too because of this

I used to be able to do the bee event, but the last three times I couldn't. I'm one of those where it certainly changed from do-able to impossible, it's not really exactly the same for all of us (I never had sunflowers for those events). But still, do follow the tips, just know there's an unevenness between farms, just as with the emailed gifts or the roulette wheel and similar features.

you have to harvest wild flowers because bees comes to take their nutrition in it

Before that goes viral, not true. Bees drop as much from corn, cabbage, wheat and other crops as from wild flowers. It is just random. And switching crops seems to help.

Just to confirm what larino said. That is NOT TRUE.

I've completed the bees already without sowing a single wildflower. I swapped between corn and cabbage during the day and sowed wheat overnight

Thanks Larino and Samty, I was tired of restating that of course I did crop changes and all :) This is the third time un-lucky, and I'm not taking it hard anymore. I did just sow sunflowers, which will be a waste of 2 valuable seeds, but I can't stop trying to get those darn bees.

Sunflower seeds are definately the way to go, if you have them.
I planted 10 seeds, got 10 bees, no muss, no fuss, job done ^^

Ah, see, woody had the same experience. Three times in a row no go.

Sadly I only had 3 sunflower seeds, RWS - and wasted them all now for nothing now, since nothing else, for all those days, yielded any bees. Not sure I will ever manage to get and hold onto 10 for this event.

It's a peculiarity of THIS game that I meet nowhere else (I don't go to casinos et al) that I manage to achieve something the first time(s) and then never again, though being more advanced, knowledgable and prepared.

Its funny how things turn out sometimes, I cussed the WoF because I wanted cool decorations or mining licences and it gave me crappy seeds, then along comes an event where the crappy seeds are exactly what I need & a pretty decoration wouldn`t have helped at all hehe ... Hope some good luck comes your way too ^^

Oh don't talk to me about that wheel : ) I will never get my coveted scarecrow. And I only get feed which means I can't use my mill so is really really worthless. Does it give gold mining licenses? Because the normal ones I always have in stock somehow ...

Yes, it does give gold mining licences. Occasionally... If you get lucky... :P
