(no) peanuts?

Weren't we able to gain peanuts (as well as money, oranges and the occasional grape) from clicking the money bubbles on the tropical island?

Now that I need to produce lots of feed, I only get money. Has the drop rate of peanuts gone down to zero?

Yes, but they are very rare. I have only seen oranges, money and shells as a regular drop. Once in a while I get some peanuts or grapes. I guess you have just been very unlucky :)

Yeah, dollars, shells and oranges are the only ones that are abundant. Everything else...you gotta count yourself lucky on.

I truly have been, since I saw no shells in the last two days either (and once or twice I kept clicking with the sound on for long times), and perhaps 1 orange in 100 clicks. I still have grapes to prove that it used to be different. Now if only I could stop this new clicking habit ...

I just went to 15 in a row before it bored me already again XD I got once peanuts, a bunch of oranges and a bunch of money. Probably oranges and money were an equal amount of times around and about. No shells and grapes, but 15 is a bit too little to draw a real conclusion from that XD At least the peanuts are still there for me!

Larino, if you're having boredom issues, I suggest having your farm on one side of the screen and something more engaging on the other side. That's assuming, of course, that you actually feel like catching bubbles.

It's the only way I've been able to maintain my sanity long enough to go a 100 bubble chain.

Aaargh, 15 and such a result? If I had the energy, I'd cry foul, but *yawn*

As mentioned and Wildcard suggested, I had it in the background and only switched tabs whenever the pop-up sound came on. Every 20 seconds ... after a while I anticipated it from the cry of the peacock ... I think I got another sticker for a bubble record - and still no peanuts! Or even oranges or shells! Foul!

I am busy enough with other things to get bored clicking bubbles and I would like to do those other things full screen :) The farm cannot bother me too much lately. Not as much as it used to that is. My three main farms have been standing ready for 5 hours now. Partly because I am attempting to upgrade the bank one more level and partly because I just do not feel like clicking anything except for the island farm. I play this game because it has become a way of life and a habit, not because I enjoy it so much any more :)

Oh and my sound is never on - own music ftw, farm sounds disturb that greatly.

There's a pop-up sound? I keep the sound effects off because I got annoyed by those and the music in the first five minutes of the first day.

I do like the new island music, but as often as I have to switch farms...it's not worth it keeping it on. And I can only listen to the short loop for a few minutes before getting annoyed with it too.

Shame on you ;) just turn off the music and leave on the sound (effects). Although I do remember in the first weeks (months?) having had that music in my head even though it was turned off. AND I finally figured to look in the stickers book and 75 is the top most bubble achievement anyway, so my 100s were for nought so forget what I said and keep the sound off and enjoy your lucky orange shell bubbles.

I was annoyed by all the sound effects, music and all the other nonsense. So I keep both off.

Me, too, but like many I prefer the tropical sounds. Although I'm now forcing myself to stop playing this rip-off, after having "experienced" the changes to the boat.

Is it just me, or does it seem like we're getting paid much less for our contributions now? I'm not liking this change.

I was saying this all over the forum - riled by GGBF for the first time in a while of RL troubles - and Nafaru just replied in the main thread now, saying it is the equivalent of money we got before ... surely someone will calculate it through, but I never wrote down what we used to get (stupidly didn't think the ONE new thing that actually gave us money would be taken away so fast9.

Well, the bonus looks right. It's just that we're not getting dollars directly for the product we're shipping. You may want to ask if that money has just been factored into the bonus or if it's just been done away with for now and we're getting horseshoes instead?

I tried to find her reply - couldn't right now but in reply to that I had summarised it so it made sense to me, ie. that yes, both the larger-than-sales-price for the individual goods and the percentage they used to make in the full-ship-load-bonus are meant to now be in the mixed bonus (see above re. me not having calculated it myself).
