So my question is this, if we have our tractors all upgraded, why do we need to continue playing missions in hopes of obtaining more certificates?? Just curious what everyones thoughts are on this topic.

Wasn't there something about certificates and the airport? Doe anyone else recall this?

Edit: nevermind it was just 25 to unlock

When I have all the farm machines complete, I'm gonna quit unless they make them more interesting and worthwhile. I don't see the point to even finish upgrading the third machine which only gives you more RP's. They are useless to me.

I am about halfway into the tractors with around 15 completed, after I get them maxed i will have just enough Certificates on hand (about 1000 to cover myself, hopefully they have new ways of using them) but there are 2 more areas left to open and they may usue them

I am finishing all the tractors because your garage will look different after finishing 28 tractors. Just playing 1 or 2 missions a day when waking up and after getting back from work. There is no rush and only playing for fun. And i think the next time we got the island it will require a bit more then only 25.

Thanks everyone so much for your thoughts. I have completed all of my tractors, and at this point, have had my fill with the missions. Think I will give them a break for now. Will just have to wait n' see if the certificates will be required elsewhere. Otherwise, I guess they will just collect some dust, lol.^^

Remember, they've already added to the farm machines. Obviously they'll be adding more as time goes on. I prefer to stock up ahead of time, like when everyone thought the missions were useless and winning was a piece of cake. I cleaned up and had almost all my machines upgraded before I started running out of certs.

Personally, I say do them lazily. Enter a mission, if it's easy, harvest what you feel like and let it be. Don't knock yourself out over it, but don't refuse free certs just because you can't use them at the moment.

I agree with Wildcard. My strategy is always to be in Mission if on line but then only farm as I was going to any way. Using this laissez fair technique all my tractors were upgraded weeks ago and I have 10s of thousands in hand. No stress and no stress either when (and I'm sure it's when not if) more tractors and/or levels are introduced. There may well be further uses for certificates too as it would not be in their interest to introduce a dead end feature

I'm not quite so laissez fair at the moment, but I will be once I get my current tractors upgraded. If they don't come out with new ones. I was like that for a few weeks after I finished upgrading the tractors I liked during the first round of tractors.

I haven't really be interested in the rep tractors, so I won't be upgrading those anymore. They're just a waste of certs.
