I have the spreadsheets. I planted everything. At level 62, I'm not a newbie. Something has been done to the drop rates. Overnight regular wheat just now gave me a big fat ZERO map pieces.

I'm done with events until GGS stops jerking me around.

i have 2 agree with artmaker it seems that the tracks were harder 2 find this time i have done this game b4 on the 3rd hardest difficulty level and i was able 2 complete the first 3 task within the 1st day but this time i worked all morning and only got 50 tracks when i need 2 get so many more and my roses didn't produce anything!!!!!!! same with my special cabbage.

The only thing that annoys me about missions are the tasks where you have to donate good. I hate depleting my fertilizer stock so I can produce 8,000+ apples to donate. It takes my farm along time to stock up enough fertilizer to complete the task and I am currently trying to stock up, because my Co-op is doing an apple collecting challenge tomorrow. I decided to skip the rest of this weeks fairytale event. Not worried I already have 2 princess towers anyway.

Here's a nice spread sheet to give you some pointers on the events.
    Spreadsheet here:

Woohoo! I just got my decor by following it!

I have picked an easier level than I should just because the drop rates suck and I hate getting thru tasks just to get stuck on the stupid time consuming waste of energy ones like collecting tracks in camping. I have worked 3 DAYS to try and get 225 tracks and I too am beyond frustrated with the drop rates. In the 3 days I have collected about 25. My husband and I are daily players (several times a day) and his collection rates are hands down better than mine. I am about to give up. Games are supposed to be fun, not frustrating. I get enough aggravation from life and dont need it from my escape. I have worked over almost a year and a half to get where I am at in this game, I am level 70. With all the changes, bugs, and wonky crap like different drop rates, I am about to find a new escape. The back story of the farm makes sense now. I know why the "previous farmer" disappeared from the farm. The next farmer is contemplating the same result.

I am having trouble finishing that task too. I have tried switching crops regularly, and I am lucky if I get 1 or 2. The doghouse occasionally spits them out as well. For some reason the game started me at the level right below expert, and I couldn't change it to an easier level. I have yet to finish this event in time. I am at level 62. Oh well.

Been looking for map parts all day long. If they keep dropping at such a low rate tomorrow, I don’t think I’ll manage to finish this event in time. In between struggling on the island farm and trying not to go bankrupt on my other farms… Tessa just about did me in. :S

Corn and eggs give a low count on maps - but they are consistent. The silo, composter and mill running on multiples give the most.

im sorry for backseat modding, but why is this thread still open? its nearly three pages of people, who for whatever reason, cant or arent willing to play enough to get the decoration, and are blaming the game instead of themselves.it basically amounts to me sleeping too late, missing the price is right and blaming the network for it.

I feel the same way ..... tracks are hard to get.... I have done several missions and play as much as I can but I do have a life.... special seeds, roses With humus and still dont have enough tracks...... skipped with gold and I still need about 60 more tracks and have been at it for almost 2 days

I have read every post here and they makes my eyes turn in and my head spin.. so many complaints!! It appears that the threads have become basically a customer complaint department! I had flashbacks of being in Macy's the day after the Thanksgiving Sale! I had no problem with tracks; they were actually pretty easy. I am still doing feed however and I have been on all day.. seriously ALL DAY..I am also doing the straw brained mission (is there a doctor in the house?). I hope to get it done and start map pieces before i get off the game tonight. I am doing difficulty level 4 as I have done for other events and i have not used any gold or farm cash for anything and am just going along my merry way..hopefully it will get done, if not there is always next time.... just wanted to add a NON-COMPLIANT post

I'm in last task now, donating eggs and corn. I haven't been playing all day long, i
don't have time too much just now.
I found all tracks about 2 days (under). It wasn't so hard to find them. I was just doing chicken food and corn when i was online and cabbage and pig- or cow food when offline.
Maybe i just where lucky. And i haven't used gold.

I had no problem with tracks either, I used mostly Rose seeds & found the drop rate pretty good.
Like Dara I also had no problem with the map pieces, they were very consistant from Mill, Silo & Composter, though not so much in fields & very rare in orchards. Animals always seemed to give map pieces too, in low numbers, but at least they were a reliable source.

A useful tip from one of our coop members who was experimenting overnight, she sowed a sunflower seed & got 45 map pieces from it!!...... WTG DD!!

These events work great if you have nothing to do. Miss a day and you fall behind. Not impressed.

Here is my two cents on the subject.
I play the game , events come and go and although I would like to win or finish them all I know I cant. Yes tracks were hard this time around and I spent many hours on my farm and I was on level 1 because I want to try and collect all the final prizes on levels so that I can someday have the chance to change up décor every once in a while..(Have a UFO theme for a while, then a Asian theme etc.)
Anyway I think of it this way, either I win them or I dont not a huge bugaboo to me, I enjoy the game overall and I wont let events change that thought. I have a great coop and they are fun to hang out with . It is how you take your victory's. My victory great coop, others maybe have all these decors everywhere

I planted sunflowers, got nothing. I planted roses, got nothing. Planted wheat - 5 fields - got 1 track!
This is definitely getting harder to finish. I used to be able to do these events, but not now. I'm still playing at the same rate, maybe its because I'm on level 56 now, but I never get to finish any of them, and it is not so much fun.

Yep. I even dropped down to level 2. missed a day, and wasn't able to finish the event. When everything in the game is geared toward selling gold, it becomes quite a bit less fun.

I love all the Events, it' a challenge and the rewards are fun! You do have to play a lot to win. I'm at Level 61 now, US server. I finished level 3 this time-yeah! (camping event, no gold, didn't buy any products), with over 2 days to spare. Even if you don't finish, be happy with the rewards you get for the steps you can complete. For things like the tracks and map pieces, I think you have to be at the computer, actively playing. Overall corn or wildflowers seems to be best. If you have to be away, try other things. I would never do regular wheat ties up my fields for too long and the tracks/hour would never be as good as wildflowers or corn. There is also no guarantee you would even get 1 track for the 6 hours you waited for wheat. I keep my computer near me during events and play each time I go by, or next to me while watching TV and keep planting and harvesting then. I may set an alarm to remind me to harvest something. If I get up at night, I do a quick harvest, plant and go back to bed. Before the next big event, I will upgrade everything I can on my main farm and have my barns full. I wish the architect would come! I would love to have all the Decos I have in one storage, so I could theme decorate too. Maybe they could do this once you are at a high level just for fun! I keep doing missions when I am online too, chances are I will win something, even if I don't place 1st. All those certs add up and I have tractors to upgrade. We have been told there will be other uses for certs in the future too. I can't wait to try the Farm Specialist Level again I have 1 at that level, lots of time, but as I get things upgrade it will be easier! :)
