Listen, there is hard, and then there is IMPOSSIBLE! Which is it? Should I just never bother with hard because it really means NOT AT ALL POSSIBLE? Fool we want you to spend money on some stupid decoration so we make a "hard" event actually impossible unless you maybe have 20 fields on your farm?

I'm on the find tracks section. I have five fields. Now I know they are random. Not every field will produce every time. But gees!!!! ALL NIGHT I had wheat growing. NOT ONE produced a thing. I need some 300 and something tracks? NOT ONE???????

Ok, fine. It happens. Planted corn and every field popped out ONE each.
Planted wheat again, and only one out of FIVE fields popped out a track? So 12 hours, for 20 tracks? Do the math. It's not possible to get through this.

I already bought all the apples I needed because I KNEW this would be "hard" to finish.
What a huge waste of time and game money.

And that's it for me and these stupid events. Not worth the aggravation here. I'll pick the easiest one from now on. Screw your stupid doo dads and "hard" challenges. It's not a challenge. It's an impossibility. Well without dropping gold. And since you WILL NOT put on any form of gold lock, that's not going to happen.

Disgusted.

Artmaker-have you tried roses or violets - perhaps sunflowers will yield some tracks. Give it a try! Roses have worked for me and a couple of other coop mates!

I got the usual tracks with my first harvests. Now, zip. none. It's definitely becoming un-enjoyable.

it is far from impossible.im lvl 94,on the fourth task two days in and have not spent a penny on the event.it depends on your level and how much time you play per day.

I've used wild flowers that was made at the Nersery.
And got more than enough to complete the task quickly.
10 tracks per field and more than half of the fields was a hit every time.

Yes roses help some. Just over half the fields will give 10 each. BUT... limited supply of those. Used um up the last time an event came along that needed them. Don't have violets at all and will not be spending money on this game since it's so easy to lose with no support willing to put mistakes back. Phoey. Free game for me.

I have nursery corn and flowers planted, and a few wheat. We'll see what happens in the morning.
But yea, not enjoyable anymore. I have managed to get the highest level perks with other events. I know it can be hard. But not impossible. 12 hours worth of wheat for a grand total of 20 tracks is no fair.

OH well. My farms are out of room anyway. I should just start ignoring these event things. Pick the lowest ones just for the rewards along the way and forget about it. Just not fun anymore.

I rushed through task 1, then harvested all day apples and only bought the last ones late in the evening. The next morning I got lot of tracks from my overnight weat. 6 fields of roses gave me tracks from every single field; same with violets. And I discovered that I got most tracks form special weat and special cabbage (so I planted 4 fields with special weat and 2 fields with special cabbage last night and planted 6 fields with special weat again early this morning). Found a lot of tracks by doing missions wild flowers and corn. Will complete task 3 this afternoon. So no problems here.

Yes Artmaker, the hardest level is hard, but not impossible.

But you may play a lot until you have done the event. I will not recommend the hardest level to people who not can use absolutly minimum 5 hours per day on the game in the days they play the event.
If you not have more roses, yoy can try special wild flowers, or spec. corn which both can give 10 tracks.

Have you try with special wheat? - If I remember correct, it can give 7 tracks.
Else you have to do the long haul with corn corn corn (I myself get most of the tracks by that way)

I also got nothing with what, but when I clicck the wheat right after it harvests it should give me more.

Teh Specialist Farmer is meant to be very hard. That is why there is a choice to do it or not

Also have you seen the thread Marathon Farmer. It's a suggestion for an even harder level for those who can finish the Specialist level quickly

I have to agree with Artmaker. I did not get any track either !
Had wheat over night and got zero ! Planted a bunch (5 fields) of corn and got zero.
Flowers right after, just to check, cause yesterday I got tracks from almost every single harvest, today: zero.
Tried another 5 flower fields and got ONE out of Five. And again max 1 out of 5 if I was lucky. Mostly got zip. 8|
Glad I used the rose seeds yesterday when obviously more tracks dropped.

    But I mean, seriously ? :(

Btw I am on difficulty #3 and can't recall it has ever been that hard.

PS: Seems to be working better again. Took 2 hours for me though and I don't have all day to be online here, so it's still annoying. But nothing to do about it, so yeah.

    Happy farming all.

I have been planting every kind of seed, special, event, regular. Nothing. I finally got 20 tracks off of a field of wheat today. I know FS is hard. But I thought that was because of the higher requirements. My farm on the international server is getting normal drop rates, but the US1 server is being very stingy this time around. I know, I know.... it is random. So I am randomly not getting drops???? It seems to me that the drop rates for the FS have been decreased. Sounds like I am not the only one!

Here is a screendump from my skn farm, I have taken few minutes ago:
    Attachment not found.
3 tracks on 6 fields. Sometimes I lucky and get more, and some times lesser.

Sorry I can not make a screenshoot from my farm on the us server, because I there already have done the track task this morning. (that farm has a lower level, and are not yet qualified to the hardest option in any event).
So I think the drop-rate is as it always have been.

I think it's very random. I've finished that task, but when I was doing it there were long stretches when I didn't find any tracks, then a bunch would come one after the other. I think it just needs a lot of patience & persistence.

Well overnight I planted one special flower, one special corn and three plain wheat.

The corn produced. NOTHING ELSE did. None from the wheat or flowers.
It's been two days of planting assorted everything and I don't even have HALF of what's called for. Let alone the next three requirements.

    So that's it. I'm out.

I actually have all four levels of the castles, the pagodas, and on one of my other farms the highest of the space event. And that was tough, but possible.
    But now?

IT's just no fun. THere is a fine line between try hard and what's the point. This one is SO into the what's the point.

And now with the new decor, I don't have room for it anyway. Bah.

Special flower over night? special wild flower grows up in 30 minutes.
Special corn grows up in 1 hour.
By ok, it's your farm, so do what you think are best for you. :)

5 fields of special flowers 3 times, and not a single track. Same routine with special wheat and I score 5 tracks out of 15 plantings. I've been slogging through this tracks phase for 2 days. Drop rate is pathetic.

Try regular wildflower if you have a few hours to burn......sure there are times not one drops from a round of collection but more often than not they will drop tracks......sometimes even 5 dropped from the one field. The 2 minute per collect makes this an even faster strategy than corn.

I never had this problem. It started when I made the mistake of buying some gold. Lesson learned. Not doing that again. I completed it after I complained to Support.

Yes... gotta plant something overnight. Use to be wheat. But... with the new missions, I usually start one first thing in the morning. And since there are only 4, flowers, corn, eggs or poo, if I have a few special seed fields for corn and flowers ready to go, that's a big head start. All the eggs and poopers are ready first thing too.
One mission a day. Those get boring real fast. Especially the flower one. The certs will add up eventually.

As for this event? I've given up. STILL don't even have half the tracks. My other two farms I picked the lowest possible. Those will finish easy. I don't care anymore. Too much other stuff I should be doing so it's probably a good thing. Too many times I sat in front of this game for hours. But not possible is not possible. NO point in playing hard. So... it proved to be good for me. Got me out of here.

Again, not a big deal. No room for more decor anyway. Most players my level have way more production things than I do. I like the decor but I have more in storage than actually on my farm. Seems silly.

Just a suggestion, if you're logged on and are playing for a while, plant things that don't take forever to grow. While you're sleeping is when you should be growing wheat, sunflowers or special cabbage. The more times you can harvest your fields the more tracks you get. No big deal if you're over stocked on say corn or flowers, just sell, sell, sell!

So true, Adrienne - and in addition to this: remember that all tasks in which you have to donate/supply goods can always be commuted by buying a number of these goods! Allow yourself 1 day to complete such a task, if not finished in 1 day, than buy the rest of the needed goods!
Always make sure that you have 2 whole days for the tasks in which you have to find/collect/start production of goods, because for these kind of tasks you can not buy your way out!

A lot depends on how much time you spend playing this. The tracks were the easy thing, I am finding the feed the hardest. Before I got my job I was able to spend a lot of time playing this game. Now that I am working, I don't have as much time as I use to and I definitely notice it when I go to play the events. However this is my issue not GGS. I happen to want to collect all the decos so I will keep trying!

The camping event isn't my favorite either and I can just give the advice that you should wait until you're level 90 or something. Roses work sometimes, but not always: I've planted 30 seeds en I got only 7 x 10 tracks.

    Anyway; good luck! ;)

Since the tracks took me over 2 days to complete, even though I was planting non-stop except for work and sleep, I will not finish this event. I finished this same difficulty with ease last time 'round. I can only assume drop rate was reduced to encourage gold spending.

Here's a nice spread sheet to give you some pointers on the events. Just go to the bottom of the sheet and click on the event you want. I finished the camping event earlier today with about 20 hours left, Level 3 difficulty. I played A WHOLE LOT, to get done before we go camping and fishing. (Also finished the Alien and Hawaiian events, both level 3 difficulty too.) You really have to work at it!!!! GGS could make it a little easier with a couple more days to finish. I do not buy products, buy gold or use game gold. I just work at it. I am level 50 now. If you don't get tracks or map pieces or whatever with one crop, or goodness sakes try another crop!!!! Corn usually does petty good, even if it is mostly 1 at a time. And making feed is fun too when you collect and see everything pop! Different events, have items hidden in different places. Just enjoy, at some point, you can choose the difficulty level too, the amounts are different as are the prizes. Have Fun!
