Lots of fields, lots of special WF seeds, lots of humus, lots of super humus and/or seeweed humus perhaps, highest amount of library books for WF perhaps, maybe skipping for gold ??? There can be lots of reasons...

And still: yes, I agree, I've been amazed too by the huge numbers players start a mission with! ;)

The mission participants aren't chosen by level only, but mostly by how well they did during their previous missions. As Scissors said, if you're doing great, you're likely to be placed between players who do the roughly same amount of harvest during a similar mission.

Sometimes this may lead to awkward situations, but usually the results should be absolutely managable :)

For me it goes like this really:

    1. I do well in a mission (1st or 2nd)
    2. I get matched against high level players
    3. The high level players put up huge numbers
    4. I come in 5th or 6th
    5. I am back to competing against other players in my level range
    6. Do well and it starts all over again.

Honestly, the system sucks. If I did not need the certificates to build/upgrade machines I would not even do the missions. It feels like it's set up to where I can't do great in more than one (two if I am lucky) missions in a row. While you get certificates for placing anywhere in the mission, we all know the highest amount of certificates go to 1st place thus moving the game along quicker as you can build your garaged machines quicker. The system favors higher level players which is unfair.

Even high level players run out of eggs, dung, have their fields full of wheat, cabbage, etc. I've won many times against higher level players. I always do missions prepared with wf, corn planted and all stables ready to harvest.
Even if you get 6th place, you still receive a decent amount of credit for what you collected.

Yes, I did the same as you did! Sometimes I win, just because of the fact that their fields are full. :)

Yes, I have exactly the same! The problem is, that for us 100 pieces in one harvest is a lot, but they can harvest much more.

The matchmaking is not based on player levels, its based on how well you do in missions. Having a higher level, doesn`t automatically mean they perform better in missions. If you are finding yourself matched out of your class on most missions, just put really low scores (not inactive) for a few missions and you will drop back down to easier opponents.

I didn't check, but this was probably posted 10 million times before...
Even still it Is worth posting again.

Please fix the level differences in the missions. You can not put a level 40 up against a 170 !

Exactly, re: rep points. It is an unfortunate fact of missioning. The more one missions, the more one gets put up against higher level of players.

I play bf for over 3 months. And i tried to play mission task everyday, at least one mission (but sometime can play up to 5 missions a day)

But i think it so hard that the level 40 player like me play with the 100+ level player :(
It' will be better if ggs sort the level of the player in doing mission task, for ex : 1-10 , 21 - 30, 31 - 40. It will be more fair.

Are you saying the tasks are unfair, the tasks do not require you to win and they only require a minimum of effort. If you are saying that they pit different experience players against each other such as a level 10 against a level 150, I have not seen that in a very long time.

I also does not go by your XP level; it goes based on how well you/they have done in missions.
  • It isn't fair play when we are put into groups that are in much higher levels.  Many times I have been in first or second place and out of nowhere someone who is many levels higher than me comes in at the last minutes and wins.  These people weren't on the list of players, they just come out of nowhere.  We shouldn't be put with people that are level 135 or something when we are only level 75 or whatever.  This is not fair!
  • Well I will never forget what a moderator said when players  were complaining about the price to upgrade farm lab. People that are willing to invest in the game have to be given advantages. Just might be one of those advantages they don't have to invest in. LOL I feel like only players GGS CARES ABOUT ARE PEOPLE WILLING TO INVEST IN THE GAME.

  • I was in first place in feed mission and a player just came in with 960 feed instantly . I wouldn't even be playing this game anymore if it wasn't for co op I am in. I like the players in it so I wouldn't quit on them.

  • It certainly takes the fun out of the competition in these missions.  The Asian thingy or adventures on the left side of the screen that they give us to play all the time are completely un-doable too, at least for me.  Haven't even come close to winning anything from those.  I thought as I got higher in level I would be able to complete one of those, but nope.  I'm level 76.  Geez...lol
  • I agree with You...I managed to hit level 32 so far, getting players in my missions lv90+++...it reminds more of a slaughter house than a competition...
  • With deco events build up your seaweed items and that will help. They have made them harder to do.  Use to be able to buy apples to donate for deco events that required apples. Now have changed that from donate to collect which does make it very harder to finish.  Even when it was donate was exspensive to buy the apples.

I'd like to see a few changes in the CC.  Besides the obvious:

    1.  Have the missions played within leagues.  Gold Leaguers would only be pitted against other Gold Leaguers, Rookie Leaguers against only other Rookie Leaguers, etc.

    2.  Awards given to the top 10-25 players within each league, not just the top overall..

Love what artful said but will not hold my breath god forbid if the playing ground was more even

Artiful, have you seen the rewards they give/gave for the top overall league, Rookie League, gets 2 Gold Flower Seed.  For 6+ days of hard work on the missions, only get 2 seeds and your mission points could be in the millions.  That is not even worth the effort in my book.  But I could be wrong, maybe they will get other items as well, I will never know. I am at number 112 on the Rookie so I just play.

I was disappointed too when I saw that I needed to donate apples or even collect apples, same difference, as apple trees take 3 hrs to grow and depending on your level, the least you will get is 365 each time.  So if you have to donate 3500 apples, well, that will take you days and if the quest line has 6 task to do, well you know what, you will not finish it at all, may bet to task 5 but task 6 is out of the question.  Unless you use gold every time to finish each task.

So like the other player said up above, if you are willing to INVEST in the game, you will always win. :)
  • They are hard events. Was just able to finish last event with one day left. I got the camping deco with the beetle car. But I used my seaweed fertilizer that I been saving for a very long time that I didn't get with gold, to harvest some of the apples and bought corn and eggs with farm money. Also made 140 cow feed at a loss to be able to finish start production of. I don't think I could do a level 6.I said that a moderator said that people that are willing to invest in the game have to be given advantages. Which means if you don't put money in the game you will mostly never get anything that will help you like farm lab, school, doghouse and so on.May get them but would take a very long time to upgrade to a level that would help you unless you invest gold in them.

The only advantage a gold player has, in the events, is being able to purchase the seaweed feed, humis and fertilizer to speed things up or use the gold directly to speed things up. (which is a big advantage obviously)

as far as I know that would be the only advantage... IMHO

The events are the same for all of us... if a non-gold player needs 3500 apples, so does the gold player for the same level in the event.

If there are other advantages I am unaware.

The biggest thing with these events is that you need to be in the game quite a bit, no question about it to do with out any gold use and many players just can't spend or want to spend that kind of time playing.

Of course the other advantages for a gold user is to buy the premiums, ie fancy houses, etc. and upgrade them.

They have not changed the event, this one is the original set of step/task/quests. There are 2 sets of steps/tasks/quest for each weekly event, each with it's own deco.
Honest as you are able to build up your main farm these weekly events do become easier to complete, even at the higher levels. Buying any thing is always expensive just to donate. Weight out your options, you may be able to get away with only having to buy a few. Leaving enough time for the rest of the event. There are always 2 some times 3 steps/tasks/quests the will require a full day or 2 to complete.
I suggest you make or get your self a copy of all the steps for all the weekly events so you can plan ahead for the event. ;)
