Drop Box

Ok, I admit to being slightly addicted to the Wheel of Fortune. In truth, it's my longing to have a hammock of my own that is causing the problem. I'd even be happy with a scarecrow. But so far the wheel has given me: more super chicken feed than I have storage capacity for (and yet it somehow all seems to fit), enough super cow feed and pig feed to keep the whole US1 server going in case of a feed shortage, and more Barbecue Areas, Cosy Picnic Areas, and Big Ornamental Trees than I'll even need or want to use.

My question is, what happens when the Drop Box is full of the decos Monty keeps giving me? The Drop Box shows a capacity of 100, so what will happen when that limit is reached? I'd hate to think there might not be room for my new hammock because of all the trees, etc in the drop box.

And what to do with all those decorations that I don't really want to use? I know I can build them and them demolish them for the money, but with the long, ever-growing list of upgrades to do on my 3 farms, I just don't want to tie up my construction crew with that sort of busy work when they could be upgrading something useful. Is there any way to get those decos out of the drop box without spending hours building and demolishing them?

The only thing I know of is to delete them. But that would be such a waste when you could get some cash out of them.

Yes. Too bad there's no option to sell things from the Drop Box. Even if we had to sell at a reduced rate, just to avoid all the building and demolishing. Oh well.

Does anyone know what happens if I just leave them in there until the drop box is full?

    Thanks for the reply. :)

You could build them and then demolish and get cash.

Aweric, it's seems like you don't read the last paragraph of the pingo42's first post. :)

I did, but I am just saying it is the only way. It would be good if we could sell them straight from the drop box.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I am aware that I can build & demolish them, but I have too many upgrades waiting and don't want to tie up my construction crew in that way. I'm also aware that I can just delete them from the drop box, which seems quite wasteful as I originally paid for the tokens that earned these prizes.

The other option is to do nothing and just let the decos keep accumulating in my drop box, until I'm not so busy with upgrades and can afford the time to build & demolish unneeded decos. Which brings me back to my original question - what happens if I do nothing and just let the decos keep accumulating in the drop box? When it reaches 100 and there's no more room, then what? Does anyone know?

Okay, I asked my leader which has been to 100 mark. She said that you do get a notice that you are overstocked. So before you get your scarecrow, you'd either need to build a deco or delete a deco.

    Good Question though.

I think you should replace worse decos with better ones so if you have to delete you do not delete anything good.

Yes, exactly. And I'm already working on acquiring better decos than the ones in my drop box, which is why I wondered what I should do about the ones already there. And the ones I'll probably get when I play Wheel of Fortune again ...

Thank you - that's exactly the information I needed! I appreciate you checking on that. :D

If you have decorations you want to get rid of completely that are in your inventory or farm, put them in your inventory and delete them.

I know this much because it has happened to me. I had too many decorations at one point and I had a message to either destory or demolish. hope this helps.

That she reached the maximum amount of decorations you can store and the storage prompted a warning that she had to remove or place and demolish decos in order to fit more into the storage/drop box.

Just a note - 2 duck ponds are worth more together than most 4 x 6 decorations . . . just discovered that myself while doing some clean up. Got rid of a lot of my barbeque pits to place those little things. My gourmet farm looks like duck central now but at 95% not complaining . . .
