Instant Ocean (US1)

Hey Timo,

Do you think it would be doable to have some sort of section in the forum that would be locked to all reg. users and it would be devoted to Dev. news coming from them directly?

I had this idea because of the "cursor in chat line" thing that you kindly passed on but that you cannot follow after you did so. I totally understand that it would be insane to ask you to follow each and everyone's suggestions... you'd probably quit! LOL

But seriously, how about the Devs coming online and tell us what idea they liked and are/will be working on to implement? Would be fun and we would more in touch with the game.

I think this could benefit us all, Mods, CMs, Users.

I'd like to have your thoughts on that one brother. Hope to read you soon. In the mean time, you be well,

In theory, we already have that area - it's called "Official Announcements"

But yeah, we're trying to keep the hands of the actual devs off of the forums for as long as we can, honestly. The guys need to work on stuff, they need to design, program, plan, all within deadlines and lots and lots of other issues, we really can't keep them from doing the work they have and want to do

We'll see what we can do to maybe set up a "dev corner" or something along those lines, so IF (and that's a big if) they have time, they can post about stuff they do or care for. No promises!

Hey IO, I think this is the first time I have agreed with you on anything, but I think that's a good idea.

And speaking of our wonderful developer dudes and dudettes.
I understand it's the nature of the game that everyone's farms are of different sizes and shapes and are always changing but, couldn't we have a sticky kinda of thing for our own farms? So when we left one farm for another, then came back to the first farm, it was in the same position as we left it.
I can't say for sure about everyone's farms but mine all default back to the same arbitrary position.
Could they not default back to the position I left them at and where I want them to be?

Why don't we just have a section of the forum where we can see which suggestions have been forwarded to them, and then what stage of development they are at? That way the devs don't need to come onto the forum themselves, but the players can still see that their suggestions are being responded to.

Right now it's like suggestions and comments just go into this big black hole and we don't know if they will come out again or not; this would help alleviate some of the frustrations players have had from a lack of response.
