Use that cash to upgrade the feed mill as soon as you can . . . and make sure you make the maximum amount of feed per time. A good cycle to get on is if you are playing fairly regularly for long stretches - plant corn and make chicken feed for several cycles - throw a cabbage and pig cycle into it every once in a while to keep it interesting and then grow wheat and do a cycle of cow feed (with the prior night's wheat) overnight while you are sleeping. When you get to higher levels, there is a good chance you will have too much feed . . . in order to get my collectibles I need for co-op projects, I am selling excess feed so I can keep the mill producing. :) Give it time and you will work out a rhythm that works for your style of play. Also save your small stash of gold up until you have the 2000 you need for the mine and then use the 4000 to build a water tower . . . that will help tremendously.

Do you mean you have 2 mills for producing feed or 2 million dollars? I think you mean you have 2 mills, one on your main farm and the other on your gourmet farm :) They both produce separate feed for separate farms :)

I think you read too fast and missed the highly relevant word "level". karidawn is only level 18 and can't have a gourmet farm yet, but does have a level 2 mill.

:) Ezio - I checked out her farm - she has a Level 2 mill on the main farm. :) Which is pretty good compared to the level she is on . . .

karidawn . . . you are doing great . . . the best thing about this time management game over another one which is amazingly popular but I will not name because it is against GGS forum rules . . . even if you cannot harvest for a couple of days due to real life issues - your crops will not wither and die on you. And as with any time management game, this is not a race or a competition to see how fast you can grow your farm. You will find out what pace works for you and if that means that sometimes your cows sit idle waiting to be fed then there is no harm done . . . Big Farm has sturdy animals they can go weeks and months without eating and not have any issues. :)
