Projects need revamp

With all the changes in the game, starting with slashing happiness, to destroying our restaurant in favor of a broken bakery that took weeks to fix the bad math and make profitable, farming and advancing has slowed to a dead crawl.
As a result, all three of the coops I belong to are losing good players.

Now normally people will leave for any number of reasons. And get replaced, usually by a newer player, but advancing, especially early on is pretty fast.

Not anymore. People are leaving faster than I ever saw before and advancing has dragged to a crawl.

My own coop, which I have worked hard to keep very active, has three players in the red now for not showing up for over a week. One I know has family health issues but the other two posted right in chat they are sick of the new changes and don't like playing anymore. I wish they would just leave, I hate booting. I keep thinking they will come back. Meanwhile I have a coop with basically three fewer players than it should.

Another coop lost a level 70 player who decided this game "moves too slow" and left the coop. He's still on, just not part of a coop. I guess he plans to play when ever and does not want to feel pressure to work on projects. Which is fine. Glad he chose to leave and not just vanish like in my coop.
He was quickly replaced. By a level 26 player.

I may boot two of my three no shows and will also quickly replace them. But probably with newer players and younger farms.

Now any coop who has been around for awhile has advanced. And projects get harder and harder based on coop level.
Darn near impossible with all new farmers to complete.

So.....
How about with some future upgrade, you folks (and please actually USE calculators this time.)
come up with a system of setting project difficulty not based on the level of the coop, but on the over all level of all players in a coop combined.
As it stands, with all three of my coops, we are finding it virtually impossible to finish projects. So what's the point in even starting them? So what's the point in playing this game?

See where this is going? Not good.
Please consider fixing this.

i agree with you but the projects are not based on coop level it is based on how many times you finish it like at the "applesauce with humus" at level 4 if you finish it 5 times it will get harder i mean the amount of needs will increase and it will be level 5 and level 5 is the last level i think there must be new projects

Ah. Didn't realize but yea, now that you said that, it makes sense.

Still... yet another player is all but gone. One of the three I mentioned appeared. Said she plans to only play on weekends and will NOT be using the gourmet farm at all. I tried to tell her it's actually fixed and making money.
but oh well. I'm not going to boot someone as long as they show up. Besides she was a very helpful member for awhile there.

But this seems to be a common theme. More advanced players are disillusioned and dropping off making it that much harder to complete anything.
    Darn shame.

Well I think the jump for leveling up is to much. We did the corn @ 14,000 leveled up and it went to 37,500 that's way over doubled. Apples jumped 21,00 to 36,000, milk 21,000 to 40,500. That jump should be smaller and have more than 5 levels.

I just wish any "jumps" were based on player levels in the coop. Not what the coop finished.

Finished with HIGH level players who since have left. Now finishing anything is virtually impossible.
    And no fun at all.

Oh it gets worse, the number of collectibles required to even start a project becomes very extreme as you level up. Level 2 Apples/humus for example requires 1760 flies and I wont be getting to that number for months even a year and I play this game every day. I'm hoping for a project revamp that allows collectibles to be pooled by coop members but seriously doubt that will ever happen.
