Can a cooperative reduce its level?

HazbeanHazbean Posts: 13
My cooperative is stuck at a level we aren't capable of playing.

I was a new member of an established cooperative with a number of higher level, dedicated players. We completed many sucessful missions and undertook lots of research.

Then there was a disagreement amongst the senior players and about 8 people left the cooperative. That left me "holding the baton" as it were. ;(

I have added new players and culled and added until we again have a cooperative of regular players. But everyone is a junior player! Level 10-20! Most players only have one chicken coop! This means that the level of the players no longer matches the level of the cooperative and we can't complete our missions. We're currently trying to do egg scramble and we need 39,000 eggs. I calculated that each member needs to collect 3000 eggs.... from farms that produce 35 every 12 minutes. It's no longer possible.

So what I want to know is, can I select lower level missions? Or can I set the cooperative to play at level 5 or 10 instead of 27? Or should we all abandon this cooperative (and it's money, gold, subsidies etc. etc.) and start a new one? 8|

I wouldn't abandon your co-op but maybe focus on researching eggs and other basics to help your members level up and grow their farms more. It may take some time but perhaps you can all grow up to your co-ops current level.

That's the problem. All the basics are complete! The cooperative research is on healthier pigs, level 3! Or more kinds of milk, level 4! $90000+ research.

Everyone wants a cooperative project so they can contribute to a collection, but we've tried 3 different projects and can't complete anything. Our members just aren't advanced enough for the level of cooperative.

Hmm well I don't think you can reduce your co-op's level and you would lose a lot of benefits if you abandon it.

Would your co-op be ok with laying off the projects for a while and focusing on individual farm development until everyone is in a better position?

Can you do recruitment research to get more members, perhaps at higher levels, to help?

Tough situation, hope you figure out a solution everyone is cool with.

HI Hazbean, I would put Ducks on your Gourmet and tell the remaining members of your old coop level 25 above to do the same with a gourmet. Also when your newer members get their gourmet tell them to do the same. Before you start the Egg scrambler project coordinate with your players and have them hold their harvest of eggs on the gourmet. This will really help with that project. Tell everyone to build more chicken coops on their main farm as well. I wouldn't give up either. I have people come and go all the time. The point is be a strong leader and people will follow your great direction. Hope this helps. Take care.
