April Fools Day Mishap

A very Happy April Fools Day to all!! With that said, I feel that with all that has happened in the past few weeks, a joke labeled UPDATE within the Official Announcements section was not the best choice of GGS. Do they not understand, how many people were on the verge of leaving after the happiness update?? Do they not understand that for people in Co-Ops it takes much effort to keep everyone on the team in good spirits especially after all that has happened.. I just think that the joke could not have come at a worse;( possible time. I'm all for a good April Fools Day prank, but I just feel it could have been handled a bit differently..especially for the players that took the updates as "real" ones. I would say from their perspective, this joke could have been the last straw.. Just my 2 cents.. thanks for letting me share my opinion!! :(

    Yeah, I thought the fake announcement was cute, but not particularly funny, given the ridiculousness of the updates of the previous weeks.

    ya I actually thought it was real until I got about a third of the way into it, so although I personally thought it was funny I can see how someone who just glanced at the first paragraph or so could get upset and want to leave the game.

    Well, yea... Sadly my workers are no longer moon-walkin' and my gourmet farm looks just as it did when I left it last night.
