Missions and Player Levels

I thought it used to be that in missions you were matched up with players who were in the same player level as you were. I hadn't done a mission in a long time ie months and I was shocked to find out that the the average level of the players I was competing against were 82-137 some were heads of there co-ops while I am level 48 a new member of a co-op with 138 mission points and when I saw who signed up I almost quit right away. The new rules say you lose 15 points if you pull out of a mission and I earned those points the hard way, I mean it really was difficult to get them. These people had thousands of reputation points I mean what is GGS thinking? this is not fair how are people at lower levels ever supposed to win any points the way it is set up now? Another thing is there used to be missions you could sign up for in an hour or so now it's 18 or 24 how do I know what my schedule will be then? My co-op may have a big project going on, sigh....

    There's a bug.......the Missions are presented backwards

So the newest are last......go to the last page and you'll find the ones you want

Missions are also matched up by RP first and only by level as the secondary criterion

And you lose the number of RP it cost to enter if you quit early

But so what? What use are RP, except to 'match' you up in the next Mission. So if you did lose some RP you may well be matched up in the next Mission against lower level players and therefore more likely to win

And don't forget, even if you come last you get farm dollars and XP. Really you can't really lose in a Mission, you will win something, so don't worry about those worthless RP

they are reworking the missions for a future update for this reason and several others but supposedly you are ranked with people who have the same amount of reputation points that you do which technically means that they could be higher levels if they haven't done a lot of missions. I personally haven't done a mission since they removed them from the co-op project several months ago because of the unfairness of them. I am hoping the rework they are doing will rectify some of that unfairness . . . we'll have to see.

Indeed, right now you are grouped on base of RP before level. So if there are 20 people. 15 from levels 30 till 40 and 5 from levels 114, 78, 70, 60 and 50, then the first 10 will be in the correct group with people from around their level and the second group will be a 'waste' group with all left over levels. I do indeed hope they can solve this with the planned mission update somewhere this year (hopefully).

I did have some fun with the 'big farmers' though lol the mission was sell apples and I created 7 orchards besides what I already had and by the time the mission started and I sold my first crops the original big 10 all quit lmao. That is one thing the big farmers can't do and that is be versatile with their land and buildings [I have very few mostly I have decorations to keep my running costs down]. It's not over yet but I will have enjoyed the virtual egg on the faces the level 139 farmer had being faced down by a woman on level on level 48 with level 3-4 stuff smh. Maybe GGS isn't so crazy after all eh?
