    Hi, I was wondering what the lowest level of production costs was that anyone has been able to get? I've managed to get to -89% and I'm wondering if I should try for anything lower. Thank You, Happy Farming!

    I have -91% on my main farm. It was -92% before I removed a deco and added another field. That's the lowest I've had.

    It is this:

    Played a bit with my UK farm - gradually deleting some decos. I could play some more later, but I hope these numbers are at least something :) Cannot add more than 1900 total atm, since I need to buy decos for that.
    1900 = -97%
    1879 = -97%
    1856 = -97%
    1851 = -97%
    1838 = -97%
    1824 = -96%

    Though I do need to add that I had only decos on that farm and was just playing with it. I had almost no production buildings at that time.

    Really crazy question, but i wonder if it is possible :D
    I have about -40 to 50 % production cost by decorration, cause i realize that decoration help enough. :thumbup:
    But i always feel envy when looking at the higher level player which have decoration that gives about 100+ happiness/decoration , while mine are just about 50- :(

    No, it's not a stupid question. :)
    It have been possible to have -100% cost, but that's very long time ago they changed that, so now the highest I can remember to have seen anybody tell is around -90%

    -40 -50 sound ok... but over time when you have played longer time and have raised to higher levels, you also can get better deco's, so it's very possible that you some day out in the future will have around -80% whitout have more than the ½ of you farm area filled with deco's.

    Just at the moment, I can not remember any deco unless the telscope that as standard can give 100+ happiness, so I quit sure the 100+ deco's you have seen are level 6 deco's witch have been upgraded several times.

    BTW: If you not yet are high enough in level to get any level 6 deco's, don't be afraid it's waste to upgrade your lower level deco's:
    an upgraded deco gives more deco part than the same deco which not is upgraded, so the deco's you upgraded now, you later can demolish in deco part to use to upgrade better deco's.

    But beware when you upgrade deco's by the landscape designer! As the default settings, she takes gold for upgrading deco's!!!
    Every time you open the landscape designer for upgrading you deco's remember to check that setting and change it to deco parts or dollars, if you not want to pay gold for upgrading your deco's.

    Yes you can increase the happiness points by using the Landscape lady if your farm is a level 50 or higher. She can be used on all major farms.

    Its no longer possible to get -100% but it is "possible" to get up around -98%, the problem is that you would have a decoration farm to do that lol I had all my farms between -90% & -92% for most of the time I was building them, but its not easy to go much higher than that because you need more & more happiness points for each -1% as it gets higher. There is an excellent graph here that shows how it works.

    There are a couple of decos that start over 100 happiness, they have a happiness of 135, but tempting as that may look, it is not the happiness of the deco you should judge them by, it is the happiness per square, because those 135 decos are 7x7 which is 49 squares big & gives them a hps of 2.755 which is easily beaten by several decorations that have hps higher than 3.... Even a 37 happiness garden pump beats it, because its only 12 squares big.

    Also don`t worry too much about the fact that higher level farms are able to have higher happiness decos, they need them. The game is designed to unlock the higher decos at specific times, those farms you are looking at probably also have a ton of high level houses, needed for all their workers bringing in all that unhappiness, as your farm grows, it actually gets harder to keep your happiness high, not easier.

    I believe that the highest happiness level could be 99.9% but I'm not sure yet.
    I have been able to get a couple of my farms up to 96% and just waiting to earn more decos to put on those farms to see if I can get the happiness higher.

    My happiness on my Main farm is -90. But I so need to, when the Island farm is gone, upgrade my last field to level 6 and then I need to wait for the Architect, and also I need to wait for the Architect to upgrade my houses. Only got 5 pop left :D so when I have done that I am sure my happiness will float away XD

    And I still need to 2 expanishes so when i get that, I am put your decs in :D

    I have my flower farm at -93% production costs, and my other farms at -90%. Getting them higher than that isn't economically worth it, because then buildings would have to be removed that need to be there for a more profitable farm.

    A mass production farm with only production buildings and no decos :) Which is probably the cause of the whole happiness update - mass production farms are not how the game was meant at the start, so GGS wanted to change that.

    It didn't work. My happiness is still at -2426 and my production costs are +472% on my main farm and I'm still making lots of money. And TONS of production...

    With Greta in the mix now it maybe possible to get a higher happiness level with fewer decos. Some one must have tried that on at least one farm.

    But i still confused
    The data of happines in my main farm now is like this
    Houses : -583
    Deco : +627
    happiness : +44
    cost : -40%

    But, few days ago, i found that
    Happines : +40
    Cost : -30%

    or
    Happines : +23
    cost : -23%

    How can it be like that ??
    I hope u all know what i meant
    my question : Does the level of the decoration influence the data of the happines and production cost??

    Yes, the deco's level influence on your happiness and cost by that way, the higher level a deco have, the higher happiness it gives relative to how much lace it takes up on your farm.

    Something must have happen between the checks of your happiness data, and it can have been several things you have changed between your happiness checks:

    Build/upgrade house decrease your happiness = increase the cost
    Your dog don't gives happiness when it's hungry - can your dog have been humgry when you check your happiness?
    You maybe have removed a deco? maybe you have removed a good deco and replaced it with a not so good deco?

    For the calculations you are looking at there, the level of the deco makes no difference, it is just counting the +happiness of your total decos (plus your fence, gate, dog & retro classic farm machine) & offsetting that against the negative happiness from your houses, to get you "happiness score" ..... That is the number that is used to calculate your reduction in costs.

    Your 1st example (+44 = -40%) is correct, but the other 2 don`t look right. +23 should be -26% and +40 should be -38%, so not sure whats going on there. Here is a spreadsheet that might help.

    The level of the decoration or its hps (happiness per square) is relevant only to making the best use of space on your farm, trying to get the most happiness from the fewest decos, occupying the least number of squares on your farm grid.

    EDIT: The farm machines "Retro Classic" & "Crop Chopper" are also both worth upgrading as soon as you can. When fully upgraded they give you +115 happiness & +32 workers (the workers don`t need houses, so no negative happiness).

    Dog house makes it jump up and down a bit, especially when you're in the +100% to -50% zone.

    i have so many flowerbed stored in the inventory
    what should i do wth them??
    it's impossible to put them back in the farm cause it will use so much space and just give less happines

    YanamuzhaChamp2: If you not have the landscape designer yet, you can sell your flower beds by place them at your farm and demolish them there.

    They just get deleted.

    When you build a deco you get XP and when you demolish one, you get cash.... Just deleting one you get nothing.
