considering support seems to be down, some say they cant post tickets... could be a glitch ofc..

Support, what support, posted a ticket 5 days ago and it has been totally ignored, soon they will go the way of company name removed , you had to spend so much per month to get a response in a reasonable time.

That is what it looks like when you add up all the signs, yes.

For those that still love the game, I hope we are wrong:)

My local toy store was having a promotion the other week and they were giving a free game away. So I took the game and really enoyed playing it. A few days later they offered some add ons to make the game even more fun but for the best ones you had to pay, well I loved the game so I paid for the best add ons. Then yesterday the store manager knocked on my door and said, we don't really like how you are playing the game so we want the add ons back that you paid for, no refund. So what did I do, well of course I said no problem take back what I paid for, after all people it is only a game.

As an aside, is this the longest update discussion ever? Does anyone know if anything else has ever been of this magnitude?

Okay, so I was curious about this and just did a quick check in this part of the forum.

We're currently on 65 pages of posts.

The topic with the next most pages is the one about the Architect, on 24 pages.

After that, it's the discussion about the Naughty or Nice update, with 19 pages.

Both the Architect and N/N have been the subject of some complaints if you look at those topics. Of course, there are also posts about how these are good updates. But, if you take the number of pages with Art's claim that people are more likely to say something when things are wrong, that should give you an idea of the magnitude of the dissatisfaction that there has been with this topic.

A question for the mods if any are around at the moment........at what point do running costs get drastically affected by decoration removal?

I recently removed a 74 happiness alien sphere and running costs went from -71% to -58%, quite a small drop in my opinion. It becomes even more minimal when in the -80 to -99.99% range. I don't want to fiddle with my farm too much because I have a very profitable setup going at the moment and have been burnt when rearranging stuff in the past.

A member of the co-op I'm in quit the game today because customer support has not responded to her about an issue she had. She waited 2 weeks, and got no response.

Check out this thread. If you scroll down a bit you can see a full graph for total happiness compared to running cost. It is very helpful.

I want to ask you this.. Did you know, that GGS has had 2 farmgames before that had to stop because too many players got angry?
Just in the interests of accurate information, I'm not aware of why Farm Fever closed, however Farmer closed because of coding issues, not angry players. :)

Support are really hammered at the moment due to the Facebook freebie promotion. They are working as hard as possible to get through the tickets however, it's just going to take a bit longer than normal for them to get through them all.

Sorry but honestly, LMAO! Accurate information when you clearly imply that you are not aware as to why one game was shut down? REALLY? ACCURATE?

You clearly expressed an OPINION, not a fact. So did I.

    Latten,

Could please stop diverting the question of happiness to the GF revamping. You are clearly avoiding the subject and trying to change it. I'm sorry buddy, but you may talk about the GF all you want, that's fine, but stop avoiding talking about the MAIN topic of this thread which is The Change in Happiness Formula in an attempt to make Mass Production Farmers to revert to what GGS deems to be the "way the game should be played".

I hope you will not take this the wrong way and I am saying this with all due respect: But could you please stay on topic my friend and address it? You are OUR CM... OUR GO-TO Guy. We have no one else to ask the question to.
At least say you don't know or whatever but please address the 1000 posts in here from ppl that do love this game but are furious about the latest change.

I think GGS owes us a BIG explanation and unfortunately, you are the man on the front line making the bridge between high echelons of GGS and the player base.

    Have a good night,

    IO

I agree. I want answers not excuses. I am getting ready to lose half of my coop. And, why did we lose eggs after all I have paid to upgrade it?? What does that have to do with happiness? And now are they going to adjust the project for eggs??? I bet not!! Infuriated is the way I feel!!!!!

The egg project has already been adjusted, u now require a quarter of the amount to complete it. The sell price has also been quadrupled to cover for the decrease in amount of eggs per coop so its basically the same with the added benefit of not hitting full storage limit per egg collection.

X(70% dec. only gives you 1 or 2 points in happiness. Why cant we get 100% in happiness? Someone has to take a stand!

i did have 100% on my 2nd and 3rd farm and 93% on main farm as i added a few more cow sheds to keep orchards going....well both my 100% happy farms are now 82% happy and my main farm is 80% happy.. that makes me sad....im trying to save up to buy land on other farms and now im not making as much as its costing a lot to run things....i hate this update...i have 2 farms on 2 other servers that i will stop playing now and keep the Australian one going. but i will play a lot less now and if and when the gourmet farm revamp happens that im also not happy with ( why couldn't they just fix dairy and open up 4th farm instead) that will cost me sooooo much lost time to rebuild as every level of everything there was almost a day out of action with no income coming in....i also dont know why we need 2 composters and 2 silos when mine never run at full capacity any way...

WOW, 65 pages!!! I just don't get it. I am at level 88 so I've been playing for awhile and I couldn't tell you what the happiness is on any of my farms. I try to keep it in the green, and sometimes when I get a new deco I will rearrange and try to get my happiness between 30 and 60 and if I can do that I'M HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!! Thanks for the entertainment, it's nice for some of you to come out of your parents basements, adjust your pocket protectors and then rip on GGS because they make $$ off of us playing this game. If they didn't make $$ they wouldn't be there and we wouldn't have a game to PLAY, yes PLAY. You know just like kids do outside, they PLAY GAMES like tag, ball or whatever. I wish the biggest thing I had to worry about was if my pretend farm was running at 80 or 90 or 99% happiness and not 100!!!! Thanks for the laughs : )

Well, it appears that my post was one that was deleted. I assume that the Mods did not like the fact that I addressed GGS as lying thieves. I apologize for being offensive. Perhaps Putting it in large red letters was a bit rude, however, I was not name calling but merely stating the facts as I see them. To advertise decorations as carrying a certain value and then to reduce their value, which is essentially what just happened, can be considered lying because it is false advertising. And when players have spent real hard earned cash to buy those misrepresented decorations then can be considered stealing.

So...My conclusion was, if GGS wants more money to come in why not put effort into developing something we actually want to buy instead of putting efforts into taking away things we have worked hard for and spent a lot of money on. Which makes us mad so we go off and yell, and fume because we feel robbed.

The point that many are upset about is that they spent real money for gold to buy items in the game, which added a specific value of happiness, and now 15% to 20% of that value has been taken away. No one begrudges GGS making money, but some of us don't like thieves.

I'm glad you are happy with 30 to 60. Obviously, many of the people posting here play the game differently, and are not happy with mediocre performance. Some of us like to win, and ridicule and bullying from a happy under achiever won't change that.
