Question, do we still have to meet the requirements for the gold task to get the task or will we get 3000 gold and a mining liscense? Also, could you elaborate on those new tasks? I didn't understand those :) Is it like suppose there is an apple quest and you need to have 3 orchards for it, so only those people will see it that have 3 orchards? Nice :D

Yes, the nature of the personal quest is that it will only be available once you reach the requirements. So, the next time you have 3000 gold plus a license plus the mine, the quest should pop up for you.

The difficulty selection is only available for events like the Asia Event or the Fairy Tale Event. You will have to finish it once after the update, in the highest, currently availably difficulty (which would give you the 3rd version of the deco), and when it pops up the next time, you will be able to select a new "Master" difficulty as wall as to be able to choose from the lower difficulty levels, in case there's a decoration you're still missing.

Hm.... awaiting farm specialist impatiently :) I do hope you will not be using the (smaller) dutch server to make sure that everything goes well in the update process :D:D

But be warned, you will really need to be crafty to get one of the new, even cooler versions of the events' decorations with this one.

Does craftiness involve using gold? ;)

I'm awaiting the new farm environment with curiosity and anticipation!!

About the new decoration for the 'farm specialist level.' Does it also have a higher amount of happiness than the level below it?

I find it a pity that we're going to have to wait untill we have finished the event at the highest level once more. That means about 3 months from now we can finally use that specialist level. Ever since it appeared in the newspaper I was looking forward to this very much, because I've finished the events at the highest level quite a couple of times already, usually with plenty time to spare.

Hey guys, news: I edited the Announcement already, but in case you didn't notice:

If you have unlocked the current "hardest" event decoration, and placed it on your farm at least once to unlock it in the deco tower, you will be able to play the new master difficulty with the next time the event shows up.

Can the current "hardest" event decoration be put in the inventory after unlocking it in the deco tower, or should we place it on the farm again before the next time the event shows up. And what farm can it be, main or all three?

    Hey Volty,

they only need to be activated in the tower, which means that you will have to have it placed at least once on any of your farms. After that (and opening the lock in the tower, just to make sure), you may put it back into your inventory and you're good to go once the update goes live. ;)

    Steffi

What i f you do not unlock it in the deco-tower? you cannot play the "master difficulty" ???
(I do not use the deco-tower, for to me it is a useless ugly thing on my farm.)

Well if you don't unlock these decos in the tower you might have to play the now hardest difficulty again in order to unlock the new hardest level.

Your choice, either make sure the deco is unlocked in the tower or play and finish the event again to get the new difficulty level unlocked. ;)

So... this means the only way we can do the hardest level event is by unlocking the deco in the deco tower? So we have to use the deco tower? (i.e. it's not sufficient just to have the deco already hanging out on the farm?)

As I said, if you want to do it as soon as the event pops up the next time, the only way to unlock the hardest level will be to have the deco unlocked in the deco tower (we have no other way of checking if you actually finished the event on the current hardest difficulty level before as no such data was stored before).

Else you will have to successfully finish the event on the current hardest level again in order to unluck the next difficulty level.

So the deco tower actually gave us the advantage to check whether someone placed the 74 happiness deco on their farm before, which means that this person must have finished the event in that difficulty and should now be able to progress to the next bigger step. :)

That's awesome news! Both on the fact that it will have more happies ánd that we can already use the hardest level as soon as we've put it in the deco tower.

Awesome GGS! Thanks for the news!

When is the new environment update going onto the AUS1 server?

Due to the nature if the update procedure this time, we do not have any final dates yet, just rough estimations.

We will try to add a small announcement at least one day before the update will take place - once we know the final date for your server. :)

I saw the result of the update on one small server, it looks nice,
    but I have a question:
Why did you move the gate from the usual place? It's a bad idea (((
And some of new buildings are too close to the fence, not comfortable to play now (

p.s. it's one of the Social Network servers - "Kanobu" in Russia

It's so the gate will always connect properly to the path in front of the farm :) Since the path itself is a static background picture, we had to make the gate connect to it, and not the other way around.

So I need to plan my farm and move the fields once more ;)
I hope the gate will not surprise me in future )))
I will try not to complain )

Good work GGS! It would be an interesting year!
