the purpose of watering cooperative members' trees

Is there more benefit to the member/cooperative by watering one's own tree, or having other members water it? I know you can get a little cash for watering the other members' trees, but does the cooperative gain anything?

Each co op memver gets collection items which can be used to start co op projects

When you hover your mouse over the tree a popup appears. In that popup is a number ?/? My tree is 12/13. This means my tree has been watered 12 times but before i get to harvest anything from my tree it needs to be watered 13 times. So if you want to be able to harvest your tree you need to have it watered and that does help the cooperative because the harvest gives collectables even the rare collectables like the transporter. :)

The more often the trees get watered by other members (once per day for every member though), the more often you can harvest them and the more collectibles you get. It makes gaining collectibles for the projects quite a bit easier ^^

I have a coop member on vacation right now. I need to know how to keep their tree watered for them while they are gone. This question has probably already answered, but need to know for sure. Thank you

You can water their tree until it is blooming. Then it will wait for them to come back and collect it. You cannot water the tree any more until they are back from vacation and harvest the tree.
