Firing Workers

i want to know how to fire my workers. i notice they are running all over my land and not doing any work. i even caught one trying to steal a pig! i clicked on him and a pig fell out!

i don't care if my profits are small. i'm quite happy selling wildflowers from free seeds for a small profit. i want these hoodlums off my land! Out, out, now! i'm very happy with my one chicken coop and eggs and seeds.

Anyone know if Tess has a gun she can lend me? X(

    Remove all the houses :P They'll be gone - so will your production buildings :P Or turn the animations off, they will sometimes pop up to give back any stolen pigs, other than that they'll be gone. :D

    when you click on a person with a money bag on their heads sometimes you get a pig they are giving it to you not stealing from you

    you can't really remove all workers because you can't demolish a farmhouse, and if you have a level 1 farmhouse there would be 22 workers still walking in your farm :p

    As stated above, the only thing you can do to remove workers without affecting your farms stability is to turn animations off :) Oh by the way, I have Tessa's gun....... I 'borrowed it' from her a while ago :)

    In order to fire workers and not have to pay unemployment you should follow these steps.

    1. Verbal warning - but document it in writing
    2. Written warning
    3. Three days suspension without pay
    4. Fire the lazy bum

    The problem I have found is that I seem to have identical octuplets??? and cannot tell who I have yelled at (verbal warning).

    I am thinking about implementing barcodes to be tattooed on my workers in order to tell them apart. - Dev's please help!!! ;}

    lol!! YOu got the pig from that worker.. the workers didn't steal it.. Actually those are animations i.e cartoon type.. They are given on to make the game look awesome!! :D

    I'd like to know why the workers are walking around with pigs to give away?
    Put down the pigs and get to work!!!!

    I like to think of my workers as "catching the escape-ees" or finding a random harvistable the wind blew away.

    Hmmm and here I was thinking they were stealing them from neighboring farms and bringing them to me. Now I know they were telling the truth when they said they didn't steal them. Thanks and Happy farming :)

    Rather than carry a whole pig, they could just carry a triple smoked ham... that would cut out several processing steps that I'd rather not do myself.

    I think of the money as random, as in "see a penny, pick it up..." dropped by other people. The poop is like when horses, cows, elephants leave it on the road and a worker will sweep it up.

    Don't think Farmerdude is playing anymore sadly...probably frustrated because his workers kept stealing from him...I don't know what kind of advice you would give though..

    What annoys me about these workers is when I'm at 98 in a row and a new balloon pops up just as the worker gets home. So it's up for a split second, disappears and then I'm back at one again. X(

    If you shut the animation off Wildcard you can stop the bubbles from moving..it helps! :D

    Why does everybody take that 'stealing workers' so literally... Everybody can think what they think, no? I like to think mine are stealing XD Even though I never ask the stuff back, so they get away with a darn lot on my farm!!!

    My six year old niece was watching me play this past weekend and I mentioned that I was stealing my money back from the workers (all the bubbles at that point had been cash). She gave me a look and I grinned and said, "Sometimes they are carrying around one of the pigs and I steal it back." There was a pause and then she summed up the thought of carrying a pig in one word. "Awkward." think the tone of voice a teenager uses . . . she already has that tone down. I laughed so hard. :)
