Agreed. I had a nice looking windmill which to me was the cornerstone of my farm. Now it looks the way it did two months ago when I was just starting out. It is an insult to our hard work to keep downgrading our stuff, even if it's functionality remains. Many people have countless hours of their lives invested in this. If this keeps ups I'm throwing in the towel. Many people play these kinds of games for the sense of accomplishment they feel, and this keeps getting taken away.

Why stop the upgrades? The prices are normal and it is your own choice if you want to upgrade it. You still have the accomplishment and now you even get some new things to do, why is that a bad thing?

You guys haven't been playing the game for 2 months even.
A little soon to be so jaded isn't it?

Try playing drunk, all the windmills look the same then.

There haven't been any price rises

What there has been are the improvements, upgrades and increased production opportunities that many farmers had been wanting and asking for

Plus, thanks to the orchard upgrades you can now make more money and the fields give you more yield on the special event
seeds which also give you more money :)

There is nothing wrong with adding new levels to various buildings in game. I mean if you put yourself in the shoes of people level 70+ who have everything fully upgraded on all the farms, they would get bored. By adding levels to buildings you not only give them more goals to reach, but enable people to be more productive and efficient in game. By being more productive you also make it more competitive in reputation competitions. Finally by adding levels to buildings, meaning a higher yield, you make cooperative projects collectively easier when players have higher level buildings.

    :)

I stand by my opinion, and I furthermore have decided to invest my time in something more meaningful. Good bye.
