One Click Coop Tree Watering ☯️

Hello! I have no idea if someone else has posted about this so I apologize if they did. If there could be an update added which allows each member to water all co-op trees with one click, that would be awesome! This would still be encouraging the purpose of helping out the co-op by each individual member, but reduce the amount of time. Thank you for considering this option.

I think the purpose of the coop tree was to make people interact with each other by visiting there farms
and for making people play this game for more than they did b4 so I don't think that's gonna happen
but even though I still love the idea

Oh great! Now I feel guilty lol...I just click 34 times and never pay attention to the other farms. Seriously though, we interact through chat and helping each other out on farm questions that watering trees becomes just a major clicking routine. Still, I am glad that they have the co-op tree since it gives supplies we need.

The other thing is that right now you can't just click on someone's farm easily to water their tree. You have to go to your co-op tree, click on the member list, click on their name, wait for the thing to load their farm, click on their tree. That is four clicks per co-op member. Multiply that by like 30+ members and this gets old very easily. Plus if you have a clunky old computer, loading a lot of different farms quickly can sometimes take a very long time.

I think it's nice to individually water trees, but maybe make that whole process easier (e.g. accessible in one click from my farm or something.)

Ummmm, Jaystarr I could be wrong but I think you only need to do the 4 clicks the first time. After that you can click on the next person on the watering list (to go to their farm) and then click on their tree - 2 clicks.

At least that is what I find I can do. fortunately for me I am still in a small co-op, I do not look forward to having a large co-op with 30+ members and having to water all those trees.

But I do agree, the initial clicks to start watering trees feels like too many for me.

Oh, yep CD you're right. So it's 4 for the first person, and then once the list is up, a click to go to that person's farm, and then a second click to water the tree. And so on. But still, that takes a LONG time (again, with my craptop that takes a while to load different farms). We've got 30+ members in the co-op, so sometimes I could put a round of corn on and it'll be done before I'm done watering trees.

Could we PLEASE get a 'water all trees' button? So many new things have been added to the game to keep us quite busy so a button to water all trees at once would really come in handy. :D

In my post Co-op Tree Research I asked if we could have a Research for an irrigation system for the co-op tree.

Level 1 would water, say, 10 trees all the way up to level 5 watering all 65 trees (or as many as can be at that time)

I can see it would fit in with Recruitments and Subsidies so would expect it to be a gold funded one :(. Nonetheless it is one research my co-op members would willingly pay for

    I didn't get much support :( though

If not a single click, perhaps throw up the trees on the village map and you could click them all from there?

Thanks for bringing this thread back up Aphasia! That is a good idea too! So sick of clicking not only 65x's but it also takes so long to load each farm. Your suggestion would make it easier as well.

Can there be a button so that, when you click on it, all your coop members get immediatly water?

    Thx!

Sounds like your in one of those big coops i've heard so much about .. the 5 minute tree watering.. But i think its kinda by design , since you get paid to do it..

I think there should be a 'Water All' option for watering the tree. There are nearly 40 members in my co-op and I know I'd tend to be more diligent about watering if it could be done all at once. As it is, it can be a pain in my carpal tunnel. You guys at GGS do a lot more complicated stuff than this all the time, this shouldn't take more than a few keystrokes to accomplish. My right wrist and I would be most grateful.

it's been raised before. Until they find a way to charge you for it, I'm betting they won't even bother. 64 trees, twice a day. It's a PITA.

I agree! This has been mentioned before & I'm glad its still being brought up as a reminder. I would love to have a single click option for watering trees. I also like the idea Aphasia posted about watering trees from the village in this thread. :)

Yes this has been mentioned many times. I am in complete agreement that this needs to be a feature implemented into the game. Watering 65 trees (this includes my own), 2 xs a day, is too much.

We talked about this a lot, but in the end we want users to visit their cooperative partners' farms. However, we have some ideas to make this process more healthy for your wrists ;)
So yeah, there is probably a change underway, but I don't have an official date yet.

It would be sooo nice if GGS could give you the option of watering all your co-op trees at once. Watering each tree individually is not only time consuming, it's a pain in my carpal tunnel and the titanium plate holding my thumb together. I would think it would be a simple little bit of code that would benefit both the players and the cooperatives; and happier players make for happier consumers.

We'll pass it on again. That said, it is intentional that all players at least have to do a short trip to their coop members' farms and take a look.

I realize the intention of watering the trees is to have us visit teammates farms. But, I have to admit, I see nothing of their farms. The only thing I look at while watering the trees is the player name, and the tree itself. Aside from the collectibles, I gain nothing from the experience of watering individual trees.

If the intent is for us to look at our co-op members' farms, it would help a lot if we could actually see the farms when watering the trees. Since the trees were moved, the only way to see the farms when watering is to move the screen every time, and most of the time I just can't be bothered doing that.

I like looking at the co-op farms, and would really appreciate if the trees could be located someplace that we could actually see the farms when watering. Please consider fixing this! :)

the tree watering is time consumming and after the novelty of checking out the farms at first it quickly becomes an auto pilot of endless clicks please reconsider ...

I love looking at other people's farms, but I seldom do if I water the trees. I usually sit on auto-pilot clicking away as fast as I can.
Sometimes I notice something on someones farm... and then don't remember whose farm it was once I moved on.

Even though I am in a smaller co-op, I am totally for this idea of a one click for all trees!! =)
Maybe some day GGS will consider this suggestion. =)
