Reputation Points Task (Competition is Good for Business)

Some players say these RP's are not needed except for a co-op thing called "chicken and egg." I don't know what that is yet. Some say they sleep through missions and try to lose as many points as possible so their competition will be lower rated. I am not sure how you play without clicking on the "OK" button to start the mission... but, whatever.;) I am sure I will catch on. You will definitely need to earn at least 50 RP's for this early level-building task.
The Big Farm game procedure can be confusing so I hope this helps some newcomers.
Happy farming! ^^

Very well done! I am glad you managed ^^ I will help you a bit about these 2 things.
The Chicken or the Egg is, as you read, a project. If you are in a co-op, from time to time this co-op will start projects. In projects, all players need to produce a certain product. In the chicken or the egg, it is not only about producing eggs, though, but you also need to earn RP to be able to finish the project. There is no need to donate anything to the co-op, harvesting or earning is enough and will be counted.
About the missions. If you sign up for a mission, it takes some time before it starts, right? After that time has counted down, the mission will start automatically, regardless of if you are there or not. If the mission finishes before you log on, a final mission end screen will be waiting for you on log in. If you log in when the mission is still running, you will see the mission start screen and can still add something to it.
Let me see if I understand. If one does not click "OK" he is still in the mission and is earning or losing points without having a computer or device on? I got the screen at the end of a mission (the one where I had a "bug"and my game playing was not registered) It said "Sorry you have not earned money and have lost Reputation Points." (that is the gist anyway) Is that the point of doing missions that way? To reduce RP's?
As usual, thanks for the help.
I couldn't understand your question so I thought of just running the basic concept of missions so maybe your answer could be in there
Hmm, let me think. You open the mission screen. You click on a mission. You click on register. So then you have registered and the countdown timer has started. From that time onwards it does not matter whether you are online or offline. I mean, your wheat keeps growing even when you log off, right? When you are offline, the mission starts (and does not show an error) and it is up to the competition on which place you will end. If nobody does anything, you will all be on 0 products and all be on the first place, all get the same amount of RP, dollars and XP. All players get dollars and XP, the lower ranked at the end, the less. Only place 1 till 4 get RP. The mission is scheduled at a certain time and will run, no matter where you are (online, offline, afk), as long as you are registered for it.
To reduce RPs has an easier way - that is just registering for a mission and quitting it ^^
Is it a bit clearer now?
You don't have to register for the very next mission that runs; there are three whole pages of missions to choose from. Right now I could register for one of three missions that won't start for another 21 and a half hours (choice of sell pigs, begin pig feed, or use humus). Once I register for the mission, I'm in it, whether I'm logged in and playing or not while that mission is running.
What you get is kind of a crap shoot, actually. Sometimes you'll be placed with a bunch of other inactive players, so you'll all tie for first place, even though none of you has done what the mission requires. Or you tie for second or third place if there are one or two active players, and so on. So you all benefit, for nothing more than the effort of registering. Even when you come in dead last in a mission, you still usually get some money out of it even if you get no XP and lose RP. I'm not sure why you got none, unless it was part of that bug, or if you were in a group of fewer than 10 players in the mission.
And actually, yes, there is a time when losing RP is beneficial. When you're in a coop and you're doing the chicken and the egg project, it is necessary to win a certain number of RP within a set time period. When you have fewer RP, you're usually matched with players of lower capabilities, which makes winning more likely. So deliberately losing RP before that project starts is a good strategy.
EDIT: LOL; I type too slow! Especially while I'm multi-tasking...
Same :P I started typing before Ezio posted
I register for a mission at 11PM which is scheduled to begin at 2AM.
I go to bed at midnight.
The mission starts without me. I do not contribute to it at all.
I wake up the next morning and find that it is over and I have a screen telling me how I ranked.
I will usually get a little money and sometimes, but rarely, a lot.
The points and money were earned all while I was asleep? Not participating in any way. All I have to do is register, sleep, wake up and claim my rewards?
