New co-op project research?

short79short79 Posts: 174
Hey, any other leaders or members of other co-ops find it might be helpful to be able to run more then one project at a time. I even only felt it would be nice recently when my co-op had to vote between two project requests. I felt sad having to disappoint some of my team.
GG could treat multi-projects as a research item, with just two levels. Even though our co-op has people who have to limit their gold buying, I'd have to say a researches like that would most appropriately be gold start fee ones and rightfully expensive. Money making opportunity! Some of the projects are compatible and would actually be great if ran together. For instance I would love to do Patty Cake, Patty Cake with Cheesed off! I guess I would suggest that research level 1 for say, 30,000 gold would allow two projects at once and level 2 for 90,000 would allow three. Not sure on prices.

Then again, I may be the only bonehead who thinks more then one project would be cool. Like I said, all because I hated to disappoint. LOL! I'd love to hear if anyone else thinks multi-projects would be fun! Looking forward to replies!

I'm also a bonehead that thinks multiple projects are cool! We often have ties in our votes for projects, and it's be nice to satisfy everyone :) Plus I don't see how this is any different from using gold to do other types of research to benefit the co-op, e.g. increasing members, etc.

Isn't that the case now? If you fail a project, you don't get refunded your collectibles?

I know right? I just hate that! But as much as it pains me to say it, it does makes sense. If collectibles were returned, there would be no need for time limits and without the time limit AND that risk, the challenge of projects would be completely lost. We have yet to a fail a project and hopefully we continue this success, thereby avoiding the mourning of lost collectables.
And a co-op would just have to be very choosy and prepared if they were to do more then one project at a time. Not to mention the option of only doing one is still available. You can wait until flu season is done before going ahead with more then one. You know, I am beginning to really hope that they will consider this.

Would love this idea. :D My brilliant leader.

I would suggest that you aren't able to do projects that require the same item. For example straw brained at the same time as patty cake because of both needing wheat. If you could the question for GGS would be does the wheat collected count for both or for only one, and which one???? That is why it would be easier to not have overlap.

It would work great to be able to run the complete movie theater, the egg scramble and the swimming upstream projects all at the same time though:)

Maybe then you have to collect even more wheat or something, to compensate for the difference?

But yeah, I do like the natural progression between popcorn, swimming upstream and eggs... and then chicken/egg :D
