Good luck and have fun
Description:
Monty randomly appears with his wheel of fortune in the back of his old beat up truck. By using tokens, you can spin the wheel to win prizes to use on your farm.
How to Read the Wheel of Fortune Screen:
The RED CIRCLE shows the number of tokens that you have available - in this case I have none left.
The BLUE CIRCLE shows the shopping cart where you can spend gold to get more tokens.
The BLACK CIRCLE shows the star marking your progress toward the jackpot spin. This is where it will fall after two spins.
The PURPLE CIRCLE shows the jackpot spin - this occurs after eight spins.
The TIMER in the upper right hand corner is counting down the time until Monty leaves your farm. In this case, there is 3 hours, 27 minutes, and 17 seconds left until he packs up and heads off to another farm.
The IMAGE in the middle of the wheel shows the prize you won - in this case, on my second spin I received 100 wheat.
How to Get Tokens:
1) Free Token - it is there waiting for you when Monty arrives.
2) Purchase with Gold - several packs are available.
- 1 Token for 360 Gold
- 5 Tokens for 1,620 Gold
- 10 Tokens for 3,060 Gold
- 20 Tokens for 5,760 Gold
- 50 Tokens for 13,500 Gold
3) Prime Day Event - buy gold with real money and earn tokens4) Find them while harvesting and producing on the farm while Monty is there - THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE - to date I have only found 2 during all of Monty's visits to my farm.
5) Hitting the free token slot on the wheel when you spin.
How to Tell How Many Tokens are Available:
You can click on Monty's truck and look at the count on the wheel or you can click on your Inventory/Equipment screen.
Any tokens not used while Monty is there will be saved for his next visit.
Non-Jackpot Prizes:
The non-jackpot prizes are in the form of decorations, feed, crops, dung, leaves, and money and the amounts vary in size. If you are lucky, you may land on the additional free token spot and win more free tokens to play with.
Jackpot Spin and Prizes:
After using eight tokens, you will earn a jackpot spin. This spin requires no token and the prizes are worth more. They include super fertilizer, special seeds like roses and sunflowers, premium feed, and high happiness decorations. The highest jackpot decoration you can win currently is the scarecrow.
Is it worth it?
This depends on your playing style. If you like to take a gamble, spin the wheel and try your luck. If you can keep yourself from spinning, you can save up your free tokens until you get eight and then try for the jackpot. If you do not mind spending gold, you could walk away with several good prizes. I have actually one $500,000 dollars on one of my spins and was able to finish an expansion I was waiting on. The most important thing to remember is this is a game of chance so not everyone is going to get the best prizes available but unlike other games of chance you will not walk away empty handed.
The workings of each farm is a cycle. The fields grow the vegetable crops, which make the animal food, to feed the animals producing dung along with the crop, fertilizer is made from dung, which feed the orchards producing a crop which sells for a very good profit and gives leaves as well, humus is made from leaves and increases the yield of the fields. Look for where this cycle is weak.

The windmill is idle. Is it because there isn’t enough crop to make animal food? You need another field or to upgrade the fields you have Is it because storage is full? You need to upgrade barns or house or add more animals to use the feed.
The animals don’t have enough feed. You either need more crop from the field to make feed or you need to upgrade you windmill. Maybe you need to do both.
The orchards are idle because you have no fertilizer. You either need more animals to make dung or you need to upgrade you silo to increase the speed of making fertilizer.
You never have enough humus; the game does not provide you with much. In the beginning you should be using it mainly for wheat. Both wildflowers and corn grow quickly but have a low number per field. It is usually easy enough to grow more and you will not receive much benefit by using humus on these fields. Cabbage has a higher yield and takes a bit longer, but I feel is not worth humus at lower levels. Wheat takes 6 hours and yields are higher; use of humus is a greater help for this crop. Adding orchards can increase your ability to make humus, but be sure you have enough fertilizer to keep the orchard busy.
Study how your farm is working, notice any idle parts, think about what is causing that problem. You need to upgrade or build to help the weak link in yours farms cycle. Then study it following the cycle to the next problem area. After the farm runs smoothly you build following the cycle around, this allows your farm to keep its balance while it grows.
When you run out of workers you need to build housing. Remember to build decorations for every increase in workers to keep the happiness up. When you run out of room to grow, you need to buy land.
Remember your farm will grow fastest when you find the balance to your style of farming and allow your growth to follow the farming cycle.
You can apply to and be accepted by a low ranked inactive co-op as soon as you get the task. If this is all that you want just look at the list. Click the co-op icon, click top of the popup menu for rankings (has blocks with numbers 1, 2 ,3), click the clasped hands, click on co-ops that show the icon on the left side of their name saying they are seeking new members, and apply saying, “I want to join your co-op.” Someone will accept you. The lower level of the co-op the more likely they are to admit you without question.

The larger, higher ranked co-ops have benefits to offer; higher prices for many products, chat rooms for making friends, cooperative trees that give better gifts, and higher level members willing to share their advice. To be accepted into a co-op of this caliber, you must convince them you will help their co-op succeed. This tutorial will provide insight into what they are looking for. Look at the list of co-op on rankings. Do they have an icon showing they are accepting new members? Click on any that interest you; their news page will give you a brief description.

Do they demand gold donations upfront? How active do they seem to want members to be? Is there a lower level requirement; what levels are there bottom members? Click on the leader; do they have a lot of construction that uses gold? Try the deputies; how many gold players are you finding? Some co-ops have mostly gold players, if you buy gold this may be alright; if you don’t buy gold you might want to skip the gold co-ops. When you find a co-op you feel is the one write a message to the leader. Click the envelope icon at bottom of your screen, click envelope and pencil at left hand side of new screen, address this to the leader of the co-op you have selected.

You will need to convince the co-op leader that you will be an asset if they accept you. All co-ops need active members willing to work on the projects and donate to the researches. Donating a researcher is easy for a lower level player; the cost is based on the farms level and less expensive for them. Your job is to convince them you are an active player who will be an asset in their co-op. Start by telling them your level; I like to also tell them how fast I am gaining levels; for example, “My farm is a level 20 today, but most days I gain a level so should be in the 30s very soon.
In your message you need to tell how much time per day you spend playing the game, for example: “I wake my farm in the morning, harvesting through everything, then plant cabbage and start pig feed. I normally manage to come on several times before evening to change these crops and harvest through. In the evening I grow corn for several hours and produce chicken feed. When I put the farm to bed at night I plant wheat with humus and start cow feed in the windmill.” These statements show concern for the production of all products; you would be helpful on any number of projects. Be sure to include a description of the number of fields, different stables, and orchards; for example, “My farm has 4 fields, 1 cowshed, 2 pigs, 3 chickens, 2 apple orchards, and a cherry orchard. “ Again you have shown that you will be able to help with any number of projects.
All co-ops need money or gold to start researches; this money and gold is donated by the members. Every member needs to donate money to their co-op. To start projects the collectables must be donated by members; all need to check if they have enough to donate and fill the spaces on the projects. To start a research members must fund, with farm dollars, or hire, with gold, researchers; when the research is done it benefits everyone, often with higher prices for your products. Include a statement to show you are aware of these facts and will participate; for example, “I know your co-op will increase the selling price of my goods and I am willing to donate to the co-op to help increase it’s total worth for all members, both money and time.” If you do not buy gold, put a notice of that in there somewhere; for example, “I am not a gold player, and do not have much gold.” Many co-ops save gold from small donations, or have a few gold players who need other active players and will take you anyway.
Don’t be afraid to ask what benefit’s the co-op has already researched. It will show that you are interested in researches and likely to fund them. They should respond by telling you what products receive higher payments when sold. This should help you determine that you have chosen well by applying to this co-op.
The above statements are too lengthy for the message system. You will either have to find a way to shorten your message with losing content or send 2 messages marking them part 1 and part 2. If the leader is willing to accept you an invitation wto join their co-op may be sent, or further information asked for. If after sending a message containing the information described above if you are turned down, try a different co-op. Do not feel you will always be rejected; you might have been turned down because the spot had already been filled. By putting this much effort into your message the co-ops will feel you are a serious player, and soon you will be accepted.
The very first thing you want to harvest in the morning is your fields. You can grow either wildflowers or corn while you harvest the rest of the farm, depending on which you need. I can often grow 4 or 5 fields of wildflowers in the time it takes me to harvest through my main, gourmet, and flower farm. If you do not have all 3 farms just follow through what you do have and skip to the co-op part.

Next I harvest and feed the cows, I like to have time in the day for 3 harvests of milk. The orchards are my next task; they take a while to grow and make me a lot of money. At this point I start a batch of feed, either pig or chicken, depending on how long I intend to stay on; if over 25 minutes it is chicken, but pig if going off soon. Then come the pigs and chickens, so that I have dung for the silo when I get there. The silo and composter are next; restarting each for as long as possible. The nursery is last; I like to keep 5 wildflower, 3 - 5 cabbage, 10 corn, and 25 wheat. If the wildflowers haven’t bloomed and been changed by now it is usually close enough to wait for them before going to gourmet farm; then either replant wildflowers or corn.
After the main farm go to the gourmet farm. If you are going to play for a while you will be doing short term crops; if you are just harvesting and leaving for while you will put in longer term crops. When you get to this farm harvest everything and redo the crops to suit your playing style for the day. If you have a green arrow to harvest on the main farm go there, harvest, and replant. You now proceed to the flower farm, harvest everything, and replant crops according to the play plan of the day. Again if you have a green arrow on the main farm, harvest and replant.

You have now taken care of your morning harvesting chores and can start working on fulfilling co-op obligations. Look to your co-op tree, water it if needed, water the trees of your fellow co-op members as needed. Now click on the co-op icon and go to your co-op news page.. Do you think you need to donate money or gold today? Is there any new news? Next is the members page. Notice who is on-line. Do you want or need to interact with any of them this morning? I always review the projects tab. Is the co-op invoved in a project that I can help with today? The research tab comes next. Is there an ongoing research; how many hours are left? Should I be funding a researcher so the co-op and start something? Last, I like to look over the chat that I have missed during the night. This might have important information in it, and it makes me feel friendlier to my fellow members. You might have to harvest and replant the fields a time or two during this part of your routine.
At this point your farm is awake and ready for the rest of the day. Befor you leave make sure the last crop you put in your fields is the best to grow for the amount of time you will be gone from your farm.
this game is very special and interesting for his events and updates.
Updates
updates is main things for a games.without this any game lose their popularity.this game always ready for news and they also show that in news board everyday and also next updates.you can more details in forum.
Example- Update 17.10. - Woof, woof!
We kept you waiting for a bit, but now it's time: A fluffy friend has arrived on your farm!
- New feature: The pet
A brand new special building is available to you: The doghouse! As soon as the doghouse is built, your new pet, the dog, will roam your farm. Of course there will be a quest series to show you how to best take care of your buddy
Your pet will bring a lot of new animations to your farm, will greet you with every login and will show you his best tricks from time to time.
Events
New: Event “A hot deal”
Monica has some news for you! In addition to her regular appearances on the farm to trade your Gold for Dollars, she is now bringing with her a new event containing a very special offer!
“A hot deal” will contain several reduced special offers on various Dollar packages. But you’ll have to be quick! Each offer will only be available for 150 seconds before it is replaced with the next offer! As if it wasn’t exciting enough, the duration of the event will not be shown meaning that each offer could be the last!
• The offers will be random for each player meaning that not every player will receive the same offers.
• The event will run for several hours but you won’t be notified when exactly the event will end.
• Players will have the option to skip an offer if they don’t like it in order to see the next offer.
• The costs to skip will become increasingly better value throughout the duration of the event.
• If you choose to take up an offer, the Dollar quantity will be immediately credited and the next offer will appear.
• There is a new Tooltip for this event in the form of a special clock which will show the remaining duration of the current offer.
New Event: The Architect
Steve Screwdriver visits your farm, and offers you all kinds of services. But beware, it is only for a short time, and he is very busy so appear relatively rarely. He has other things to do, and your tractor won’t repair itself!
Steve can improve your buildings while the event is running. This makes it possible to bring many factories and stables to the new level cap, which is not possible with normal levels.
This event will run for all players at the same time. It will be active only for a short time.
Went the event is active, a new expansion stage will be available for many of the buildings (see list). You can see which buildings are upgradeable, when you click Steve's van, which is waiting for you on the edge of the farm as usual. If your building has an extension available, then you are lead from here directly to that building.
All extensions of Steve will be available through farm dollars, except extension for the "fancy house", which must be paid in gold.
Different buildings may have different maximum levels
Information about a building stage, which is expandable only Steve, will be found like all the other extensions in the info menu - even if the event is not active.
Again, we have designed new maximum levels for many buildings. Since we did not want to destroy the overall look of the farm, we have in many cases changed the graphics for the lower levels, not the maximum levels. Thus, it is possible that e.g. your 5 level building has the graphics of a level 3 building, because the graphics are new for level 1 and 2 and the usual level 5 graphics will be used for level 7. this sounds more complicated than it is, so please don’t get confused, your buildings work exactly as before.
New: The mine
The mine is a new building, which you will find next to your farm. Here you can invest currency (dollars or gold) and after some time, make a profit on what you invested!
In order to make use of the mine you will need licenses. These can be found in a couple of ways:
- A normal mining license can be randomly found when collecting productions from the Windmill
- A gold mining license is available on a new Prime Day event, which will run in addition to the previous Prime Day events.
Along with these licenses you will need to invest either dollars or gold in the mine, and after a certain time, collect gems or gold nuggets from the mine that are worth many times the price originally paid.
New tasks lead you into the details of using the Goldmine
The mine is located on the upper right side next to your farm and will consume no place on the farm.
The mine has a total of five levels, the last three of which are unlocked with gold. Level 1 and 2 are available without gold.
Production at the mine has no operating costs
We hope that you will find the mine useful.
- New: Prime Day with mining licenses
In addition to the usual prime Day events, there will now also be a prime day in which there will be gold mining licenses as a reward.
- New: Private Primetime
There will be a new private Primetime aimed mainly at new players or new customers in our store and will offer for this player a separate prime time to get to know our shop and to secure a great gold discount. The private Primetime otherwise works exactly like the regular prime time. If the PPT overlap with a normal PT, the most favorable offer for that particular player is shown.
- New Event: The Wheel of Fortune
Be curious, awestruck, and then cheered with joy when the great entertainer Montgomery Goldwin makes a trip to your farms. Of course he is not alone, he has also brought his latest attraction - the wheel of fortune!
Monty's Wheel of Fortune is a new event, which will run at various times similar to other events.
Rotating chips
In order to be able to spin the wheel, you will need a chip(One chip for each rotation). Your first chip you get when completing your first activity on your farm after the event has started (harvest, produce, etc)
More chips can also be found on your main farm - they may randomly appear for every action that you perform (harvest, produce, etc).
Furthermore, you can also buy chips using gold. These are available in different packages (for example, 1, 5 or 20 packets), their prices will of course vary accordingly to the number of chips.
Chips that you have accumulated will remain the same even when the event is over so you can use them at the next Wheel of Fortune event. This applies both to found and purchased chips. You can find them in your inventory.
Rotation combos and the Jackpot Round
If you spin the wheel of fortune, you earn through each rotation a combo point. Collected combo points will cause your combo bar to fill up, which extends the wheel of fortune round.
When you reach the maximum combo score, and have thus played enough rounds, you reach the jackpot round. Your wheel of fortune turns into a jackpot wheel of fortune, in which you can win even crazier prizes, such as an exclusive decoration.
The jackpot round is free and requires no rotation chip to be played.
Your combo is retained when you exit the game during the events of fortune. This applies only to the most current event, your combo is not transferable from one event to the next Wheel of Fortune.
New Version: Orphanage charity drive!
As usual Rita will visit you in your farm to inform you about a charity auction in the orphanage. This time there will be though a small change! Every player that makes the minimum donation gets the chance to win a brand new decoration.
The event will start at the same time for all players at level 20 or above.
For the duration of the event, players can donate cash in order to support the local orphanage.
Once the event is finished, Rita will give a decoration to every donor, the happiness of which is determined by the donation of that participant. It will be placed in the drop box but can be placed and built in any farm you choose.
There will be three cosmetic variations of the final decorations. The final look depends on the amount that was donated for the decoration and therefore the happiness acheived..
Additionally, like in the last event, there will be a ranking. Depending on the ranking position you can win extra happiness points that will be added to the decoration. The top three players will get a slightly different variation for the decoration.
Buildings: nursery
The nursery will have now its own related quests.
Optimizations and improvements
Drops (consumables, equipment, etc.) will now be more visible. They will remain longer on the screen, stay above the tooltip and the quantity earned will be better displayed, so that it is easier for each player to know exactly what they will get.
The information about the humus effect in the ring menu has been reworked. The effect will be displayed as 50% extra bonus instead of the former 150%. The same applies to the premium and superhumus effect.
In the equipment menu the maximum storage amount of water and breeding seeds will be shown together with the actual amount.
During events, the themed temporary products will also be in the farm management menu. This way it will be easier to see the profits and amount of rice, magic beans, etc. you will get before the harvest.

New building: Nursery
The nursery is a brand new building for your main farm! Here you can grow the plants that are best suited for you personally. Your wheat grows too long? You would like to wait a bit longer for some more corn? No problem with the nursery (almost) everything is possible!
You can now find new items in the game: crops for breeding as well as water
Growing crops can be found in fields, on which the normal seed was sown. If a corn field is harvested, for example, you can also be find some seed for maize breeding.
Water can be found everywhere in the game and can also be bought with gold. Water is very important because it is needed for every breeding process.
With breeding crops and water you can breed specific variants along with the normal seeds in the nursery.
The new building "nursery" can be bought with dollars, further extensions cost gold. It is available for all players that meet the level requirement.
The nursery is a new building form (special building) and thus is not affected by existing employees (such as Steve). For this new category, there will be a new tab in the Build Menu
The nursery will be available for mid level players (probably from Lvl. 20)
In the nursery, there is a finished recipe for all normal seeds (wildflowers, corn, cabbage, wheat) through which you can grow new seeds each of these four types. For example, you can breed cabbage that will grow longer so that you can harvest it after several hours, but also get the corresponding number of cabbage. On the other hand, the growing season of wheat could extremely shortened, and so you would get less (but are of course finished much faster).
Using the nursery you can further customise your own personal daily schedule, no matter if you are a frequent regular player or can only login a few times a week.
The extensions of the nursery can be unlocked using gold and allow even more personalization, but the building is also fully usable without use gold and not restricted.
This game is a fun game and a good way to make friends from all over the world but just as it is important to be safe when you leave the house, it is important to be safe online too. It is good to meet and chat with people in the game but remember, these ‘on-line’ friendships are not the same as real friendships and you need to treat them differently. It is much easier to fall out with an online ‘friend’ because of a misunderstood comment. People don’t use their real names in the game and so sometimes they can behave less well than they would if they were face to face. Some players can get angry if they lose missions or they can be rude or unkind to other players. Other players may pester you to chat, or ask for more information about you than you feel comfortable giving out. Lots of different people play this game, from young children to senior citizens. Some people may find behaviour like this upsetting or even frightening.
There are three golden rules for playing safe!
1) Never give out personal information such as your address or phone number.
2) Never arrange to meet someone in person who you've met online.
3) If anything you see or read online worries you contact support and tell someone about it.
Finally, have fun. Most people are genuine, kind and just want to have fun and this game a great place to do that. Follow these three simple rules and Play Safe!
Join a cooperative
The most difficult part of this task is to find a coop that you want to join and who is willing to accept you. You may need to apply to several of them before you get accepted. The higher is the coop's research level, the more profit you will get as its member. But remember to check their requirements: how often members should login, how much and how often gold and dollars have to be donated, etc.
You can find a lot of useful information on the forum. Here are some links:
There are three main ways to apply to a coop.
Case 1. If you know the name of the coop you want to apply to, or you want to look through the list of the coops and then make a choice, click on the "Multiplayer features" button and choose "Ranking" from the menu (A).
In the window "Ranking" select the tab "Cooperative". The cooperatives that are looking for new members a marked with the special sign - a man with magnifying glass (B).
If you know the name of the coop, use the search field (C). Otherwise, you can just scroll through the list.
If you click on the coop name, a new window with the coop description will be opened. You can find information about the coop here, as well as the list of members. If you want to join, click the button "Apply".
A new window will be opened (A). Here you can change the standard text if you want. Click "Apply", then the confirmation window will appear (B), click "Okay".
That's it. Now you just wait for reply or keep applying to other coops. If you are accepted, you will get a standard message in your mailbox.
Case 2. If you know the name of the cooperative you want to apply to, you can use the steps described above, or go through "Find or Found" procedure.
First, click on the "Star with hands" sign (A), or select "Hands" in the "Multiplayer features" menu (B), or click on the place intended for a cooperative tree (C). Any of those actions bring out a "Cooperative" window.
In the "Cooperative window" click the button "Find" (D).
New window "Find a cooperative" appears. Here you can see the list of the coops who are searching for new members (E). Click on the one you want to apply to.
If you know the name of the coop, type it in the "Search" field (F), and press "Enter".
If you click on the button with the green arrow (G), you will be directed to the forum (open in a new browser tab or window).
After selecting a coop from the list or searching for it, the window "Cooperative" will appear. Click the button "Apply", and send the application message as described in the previous case.
Case 3. If you know some player and want to apply to his coop, it's easy to do.
Go to the "Ranking" window (A). Scroll through the list of players (B) and click on the name of your friend, or type the name in the "Search" field (C) and press "Enter".
A new window with the player information will appear. Click on the "Cooperative information" button.
Now the "Cooperative" window is opened and you can click on the "Apply" button and send the application message the same way as it was done in the previous cases.
Good luck with making more money!

It was very hard to come up with a topic that has not been covered by all the great gamers on this forum. But I finally decided on a topic that I love. Fitting everything into your farm.
First and foremost there is a great tool to help http://en.board.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarm/showthread.php?49266-Redecorate-your-farm-the-easy-way-) Not my work, so thank you oAISAo. This is graph paper on the computer to help you play around with different arrangements and find what works for you.
Every farm will be slightly different but there are a few basic patterns to look for when trying to rearrange your farm and fit in these awkward buildings.
You first need to look for groupings that add up to multiples of 5. This will leave area's to fit in the best 5x5 and 5x4 decorations, along with your houses and coops. In earlier levels before you can get the better decorations you do have to fit more 4 x4 decorations in, so sometimes you want to leave rows of 4 open. But a 20 x 20 space that will fit 16 5x5 deco's will also hold 20 4x4's. Below are some examples of how to group your buildings together to get groupings of multiples of 5
1)The most awkward buildings are the 7x7 orchards and 6x7 sty's. Many people are tempted to pair these up with the 7x3 wooden wagon or 6x3 pile of goods. However, these really don't have a very high happiness per square. So it works better to match them up together. 7 + 7 + 6 gives you 20 or 6 + 6 + 6 + 7 gives you 25. These match up's will give you 7x20 or 7x25 which you can match up with the 10x8 farmhouse and some 5x8 cowsheds. So to sum up 2 orchards and a barn next to the farmhouse and 2 cowsheds uses up a 20 x15 space. Or 3 barn's/sty's and 1 orchard lined up with a farmhouse and 3 cowshed's uses a 25x15 space. *Any cowshed can be replaced with 2 5x4 deco's.
2) Another combination with your orchards is utilizing the duck pond found for free on your farm. Take your duck pond along with a 4x4 deco to make a 4x7 unit. Add this to 3 orchards (giving 7x21 area) gives you another area of 7 x 25. Similarly you can use the 5x3 composter with a 5x4 decoration to make a 5x7 area (or use the 5x7 nursery) to give you 7x30 area. then pair this with 5 fields of 6x8 lined up to make a 30 x 8 area. This makes this a 30 x 15 area.
3) The composter and Nursery can always be used together to make a 5x10 area. But like stated above I often like pairing them with the orchards and sty's.
4)The fields being 6x8 can be turned either way to pair up with the orchards and barn/sty. 5 fields can either make the 8x30 grouping or 6x40 grouping. So the match up well for either the 7 + 8 or 7 + 7 + 6 groupings. the fields can also be matched up with 4x4 deco's, the windmill, silo, water tower, etc. to make a grouping of 10. So you can line up 5 fields in the 6 x 40 pattern with your windmill, silo, water tower, 4 4x4 deco's and 2 5x4 deco's to give you a 10 x 40 grouping (especially helpful when you have the odd 10 x 10 expansions sticking out).
5)Now, if you have used your fields to match up with your orchards and barns/stys you might have your farmhouse and cowsheds still to deal with. These can be easily lined up in an 8 + 8 + 4 pattern to make 20. For example place 2 cowsheds next to the farmhouse to make a 16 x10 grouping then add either 2 5x4 deco's or the windmill 6x4 and the silo or a 4x4 deco.
6) Finally to deal with the 5x3 composter if you have not matched it up with the nursery or orchards as mentioned above. You can easily place 3 5x4 deco's and the composter together to make a 5x15 grouping.
These are just a few idea's to get you started. Hopefully they will help you rearrange your farm to take advantage of every square
Important things in a cooperative are collectibles. This tutorial will go into some more detail about where to get them and what they are used for.
Collectibles, what are they?
Collectibles are those extra items you sometimes get when harvesting on your farm. Examples are a Tractor, a Fly and Tickets, I am sure you have seen some. They are stored in your Inventory, which is accessible by clicking the green box button in your toolbar, as shown below.
Upon opening your Inventory you get several different tabs, the one we are focussing on is the collectibles tab, shown at the red arrow below.
As you can see at the blue arrow above, when hovering your mouse on one of the different collectibles it shows its name and what type of field and/or building it comes from. In this case, the Fly, it shows you have a random chance to get it from working with your Windmill and Silo.
You have a certain chance to get a collectible every time you make something, so if you make 10 fertilizer you get X% chance to get a Fly. If you make 100 fertilizer at once the odds stay the same, because you are basically making fertilizer 10 times in a row, giving you a chance every time.
Collectibles, what are they used for?
Ok great, we have some collectibles now, we know where to find them in our Inventory, but what are they used for?
Every project needs a certain amount of 3 different types of collectibles to be "full" and ready to start. If you go to the Projects tab, also known as the rake and shovel tab, you can see all the available projects. When they are filled with the right collectibles a green check-mark will mark it, as shown here with the top most project.
When such a check-mark is missing, the project isn't full yet and you need to donate collectibles to be able to start it.
To see which collectible is needed you need to click on the project itself, this opens a details-screen to the right of it where you can click the Collection Details button, as shown below.
Clicking this button opens the following screen:
As you can see, the Tractor and Transporter collectibles have been donated by other co-op members, but the Teamwork collectible is still open. I have enough to donate the 135 that's required so I can click the button marked by the red arrow. If you don't have enough collectibles you can always buy them with gold, that's what the button is for that's marked with the blue arrow.
You can't take the collectibles back if you do this so make sure you really want to spend your gold on that.
After donating the collectibles you can take them back if you want, by clicking the button with the orange arrow on it shown below.
When all collections are filled you are ready to start the project, so mobilise all the co-op members and get those Solidarity Points to get your cooperative to a new level!
I hope this was informative and answered all your questions about Collectibles.
First thing you are going to need is money.
Next, you will want to be on your farm and click the add gold icon.
This will take you to the GGS shop.
Select the maximum amount you can afford. Checkout and boom. Instant success.
You can buy fancy houses, which give more workers per space...Watertower = less feed and fertilizer, workshop = less ingredients for production, nursery = special seeds...You can dominate missions by skipping time and winning...it's endless. Buy gold all the time and you will be the top ranked player.
First, click on the cooperative button in your menu. You will have to go through multiplayer features, and then hit the co-operative button.
This will take you to the main co-op page. (If your co-op is doing a project, it will take you to the project tab. You can just click to the first tab for the main co-op page.)
The main co-op page has two ways you can donate. You can donate farm dollars by clicking the farm dollars sign:
Or you can donate gold by clicking the gold sign:
Let's say you want to donate some farm dollars. Click on the farm dollars sign, and you will be asked how much you want to donate. The default is 500, but you can change this amount:
If your co-op has done research, you will also see a modifier saying how much the game will contribute as well to your donation.
Let's say you want to donate $10,000. You highlight the box where it currently says 500, and then change that amount to 10,000. NOTE: the box will not use commas, so make sure this is the right amount of zeroes when you type!
When you're done, hit the donate button. Your donation will come up in the co-op events (visible in the chat).
And you're done!
There are many commonalities amongst the top 10 main farms created by the Big Farm community.
Of the top 10 farms:
• 100% have 2 Barns, 1 Windmill, 1 Silo, 1 Composter, 1 Water Tower, 1 Nursery and between 4-6 fields
• 90% have 1 Workshop
• 80% have a combination of 8 to 12 apple and cherry orchards
• 70% have a combination of 14 to 18 chicken coops, pigstys, and cowsheds
• 60% have a combination of 14 to 16 simple and fancy houses
The attached image shows in greater detail how each of these farms have evolved into successful farming operations. Feel free to imitate the best practices of the top strategists!
Happy farming
Many players (especially newbies)have a problem to understand whether the Happiness pointer should point on the green side or on the red side. So this is for them
You should try to find as possible in green side, thus achieve lower running costs. The more the happiness the lower the running costs. If you are having -100% running costs, then everything is for free (except for the seeds).
