Environment saving event

Hey guys it's been sometime since I suggested something so here goes nothing... hope you like it :) ......... Eva comes to us and says the town hall decided to bulldoze a forest to make a new shopping mall..so the local big farmers (us) are protesting......to help protest we need banners which brings me to my first task
1) Collect x number of banners the way that works is you harvest normally on your farm and your workers give you the banners they made in their free time
2)second task as usual the protesters need food so you can just collect milk, eggs, apples and cherries :)
3)We win the protests but some of the forest areas have been damaged so we need humus to replant the areas (or fertilizer) so the third task is to donate some humus
4)The forest has been saved but a lot of the wildlife ran away (some on your farm too) so the fourth task is to find those animals :)
5)I thought of adding another task just so that it's more balanced out so task 5 is that the environmentalists are on their way but the animals are hungry so you need to make "x" amount of pig feed as it's the best suited all-round food..:)

The reward for this can be a giant red oak that got cut down which you are now helping so that it grows back :) who knows maybe even throw in an environment defender achievement?

Thanks for reading....Ezio

Thanks guys I just felt like something related to the environment would be a nice theme because it fits in the farm theme :) (and because I just gave a lecture on environmental impacts:))

Glaciers, Black rhino, polar bears, seals frogs, old growth forest.
decos could be more like statues

***oh ... a weathervane--NONE of the animal barns or houses have one on their roof and they look great

I really like this idea. Can we put recycling in there somewhere? Like find old cans/bottles/paper to recycle on your farm? :)

I particularly think Step #3 is a fun and relevant way of using stuff we already produce on the farm!

Love it! I'll start thinking on the limited time deco's!

And I agree with Dragonpride that the same events over and over is starting to stop being interesting.

I wouldn't say that, i often lurk around the forum waiting till ideas get to a certain stage before i comment on them ;)

The overall theme of the event could work, but I'm not so sure about the actual suggested tasks for the event. The idea of a solar panel decoration is very creative and certainly fitting with the theme of the event, but i'ts something the game team would have to think about.

Keep making suggestions along this theme and I will keep watching to see what you come up with :D

    Regards,
    Ethan

OOOh we have rain barrels here in US to catch water for the garden--that could be one of the tasks--to fill one with waterdrops

a rain barrel could also be a deco-- a small size like 3x3, or if bigger so it won't take too much space--put it on the outside of the fence :D

I like the idea of doing more with the water drops - but it would not be possible for any player who does not use the nursery - their waterdrop storage would be full and they would not receive any more drops when harvesting so they would not be able to complete the mission.

Or how about a big green bin that says paper only...? although I wouldn't think of it as a deco I'm just saying :)

You guys have some really great ideas! I really like your Environment Saving Event idea ezio! It sounds great! I personally would like to have more colorful trees on my farm. It could be like the thicket (maybe smaller). Maybe this could be a limited deco to go with the event? I made an example just to give you an idea about what I'm talking about.
