The money earnings seems too slow to cover upgrades.
I scrapped the Pigsty, and keeping chicken coops for emergency dung production backup.

The chickens are great poop producers--only if you are on to keep resetting them. I think pigs would be better and more cows for someone that is on only for frequent, but short intervals.

Cherries use a lot of fertilizer and most people think the watertower is the best investment of gold for that reason.

If you are just getting started, the nursery is great, but if you upgrade it you can't demolish it. So try it out and see if it is helpful to Your playstyle before you spend gold on upgrade it or else you are stuck with it.

Lots of people have your playstyle and will have more tips for you.

As monica said, cows are better than chickens in your case. They produce a lot of dung and you are not online frequently enough to click your chickens so often. Also pigs make a good amount of dung for your playstyle. Invest in long duration production, so wheat, cow feed, cows, silo, cherries would seem the most logical. However, the cherries need a lot of fertilizer, so you could also read apples. Apples are also quite good long duration producers and make nice money. Lastly you should always keep your happiness in mind because for every farm counts that the higher the happiness (metre into the green with -xxx% running costs) will give you more profit. You influence this by building a lot of good decorations.

    Conclusion:
    1) invest in cows and apples
    2) invest in cherries and pigs
    3) keep minding your happiness

In you case i think nursery might help you. TO produce the corn for your occasional chicken coop run and also cabbage...

The normal cabbage takes only 45 mins to grow. But the specail cabbage takes 4hrs. For your play style they will really help you.

Tbh you play quiet a lot like me :):) The best advice I can give you is be patient I started this game before a lot of people but I got to level 40 today :) (Don't laugh at me Larino ;)) So don't expect to be sitting on 50 million the next time you login instead save money and try to get in a succesful co-op (larino can help you out with that) because a succesful co-op does researches which gives you more money by selling things :) I hope all of this made sense if not I apologize :)

I've had a look at your farm and I think that you are already playing the best that you can. Unfortunately for players like you, GGS reward players who play intensively using coops with much greater profits and collectibles.

I don't think that you'd be able to find water frequently enough to make the nursury worthwhile.

The Asian Archways are good value for money and are only worth replacing with the highest happiness for cost decos - lakes, thickets, mystic stone dragons, enchanted trees.

What facilities are idle and which are you always waiting for ?

What is the happiness points for houses and decorations ?

You could gain two 10x10 spaces by demolishing 2 houses having upgraded the other 6 to level 3.

You're making more money from the 2 apple orchards 3 times a day than you would from cherry orchards 2 times a day.

I just checked and totally agree with you. With less than 100 water available,I cannot go anywhere with the nursery

The silo and apple orchard is the frequent idling facility. I always wait for dung.

What is the happiness points for houses and decorations ?
    Houses (-469), Decorations (+629) Overall = -72% happiness

You could gain two 10x10 spaces by demolishing 2 houses having upgraded the other 6 to level 3.
I rechecked your recommendation. Assuming I maintain the current happiness level, overall square/worker for level 2 houses are 5.15 sq/w and for level 3 is 5.08 sq/w. The savings are 0.07 sq/w. For 141 worker, i save 141 x 0.07 = 9.87sq not 2 plot of 10x10. Please correct me if my calculation is wrong

You're making more money from the 2 apple orchards 3 times a day than you would from cherry orchards 2 times a day.
Ok. I will keep my Apple Orchard.

Thanks mates for your support and advise. I got close to 2000 golds. Any good use for that small quantity of gold?

OHH if you still have the blue ticket for the mine outside the fence on your farm... keep saving your gold and use your ticket in the mine and get double your gold back in 2 days ;) . So your 2000 gold would be 4000 gold :D . Then you could buy a watertower, a nice decoration, or expand and have a little left over to keep saving. I don't know much about the blue roof houses or the workshop, but those are possibilities too.

Here's a good discussion of the question of red versus blue houses: Squares per worker (or: Upgrade vs building new houses). The entire thread is well worth reading, but if you go "too long; didn't read", I think #8 and #32 sum it up best.

Given how you describe your playing style, I think the short answer for you is that blue houses will probably be best. It's unlikely that you'll be winning many event prize decorations without devoting a lot more time to the game than you currently do, so it's best to bank on the readily-available ones, which means you won't have the concentrated happiness levels to support many upgraded houses.

So once you've first doubled your gold and then bought your water tower, decide whether to get a workshop, and then move on to blue houses as you accrue your gold.

That is the one I was going to post, but still not sure if it was decided which was better--especially with the new upgrades.

See that link to #32 where McFeisty spells it out, Monica. Level 5 red houses win by a fine margin, but only if you have enough event prize decorations to balance them; otherwise it's still level 1 blue. Someone who's only playing 30-45 minutes a day isn't going to be winning many of those +74's, and someone with low cash flow who's having trouble affording upgrades isn't going to be upgrading many houses either.
