Adding attachments to private messages

I am trying to figure out how to send someone a copy of a picture I scanned into my computer via private message. All it is allowing is links with url addresses??? Please help.

    unfortunately there is no "manage attachments" option in private messages... but if u wanna send pix then the only choice is to upload them in any online photo editing site ( i.e Pizap, tynipic, photobucket etc...Pizap goes best for me... ) and then u can copy the desired URL and send it...

    I really like tinypic. You can just choose a file from your computer, click upload, fill in the security code and you get 4 links to share your picture! :D:D But yeah, unfortunately that is the only way to do it in private messages...

    Or you could go for photobucket :) I personally think thats the best all you need to do is make an account and you have a ready pic to copy its URL but I would like attachements better because that's something I can do directly from my phone :)
