By doing cooperative Projects you can only earn Solidarity Points for cooperative. You will not get anything.

Gold and dollars can be useful to start researches.
i.e To start subsidies level 1 your cooperative should have 5000 gold.

Thanks, Manish! I am not contented, but this is it!
In this situation, I dont see the reason for long-term to have or to join to a cooperative.
In fact, the purpose of cooperation is to have a profit together.

The solidarity points from the projects are needed to increase the cooperative's level, which unlocks researches. The researches are where the benefits for the members come from. All members receive all the benefits, such as increased selling prices for items, that the cooperative has achieved.

Edit to add: You also get rewards from watering your cooperative tree, plus $200 for each fellow cooperative member's cooperative tree that you water each day.

The SP you get by completing projects helps you to level up your cooperative. On level up new researches get unlocked.

Researches helps you to include more people in coop, increase the money donated to the coop, increases the time for doing projects, reduces the collectibles required for the projects and most important sell produces at good profit... so doing projects is important.

At coop level 60 you can unlock all the researches.

After reaching level 60 most of the coop does project to maintain their rank.

    @montuos: Great minds...

Ella here is an idea of what good it does to be in a co op for individaul members
(in the co op I am in at the momemt)
    We get
    20% extra selling cherries
    27% extra selling apples
    67% extra selling eggs
    40% extra selling Milk
    80% extra selling pigs
    10% extra selling omelets
    5% extra selling applesauce
we havent started the flower farm things yet.

So all those personaly help me in my co op

Any money or gold we donate to the co op helps us to pay for the research to help us get those rewards.
