Members of the same co-op are all in the same village
You will get a task to join a co-op but it comes far too early so I would advise waiting until at least level 15 and 20+ would be better still

It will take time to be accepted into a co-op. You may well have many, many rejections before you find a co-op that will take you. It's a bit like applying for a job in real life.
