Nursery L2 price increases
I bought the nursery.
I upgraded once, so I cant remove it anymore.
No problem, no hurry, I can aford next upgrade
anouncement is made
The nursery and the special seeds are revised again. The later levels are improved, for the price of gold increases.
In the 6th post of the thread discussing this upcumming upgrade I ask to clarify this message.
I get no responseWhat does this mean? Watertower all over again?
Or, if we take this literally, how can the price of gold, that we pay with real dollars, affect the nursery?
Turns out it is not the price of gold that increases, it is the price of the nursery!!!http://en.board.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarm/showthread.php?70694-Discussion-thread-for-quot-The-Nursery-quot&p=856650&viewfull=1#post856650
I kick my self for not acting upon my suspicion and upgrade to L3, I had the gold!
So now I'm stuck in L2 !
It is hard to imagine that, if this is all pre-cooked, devs think that possible revenues
weigh up to loss of goodwill.

Whilst i understand you position, the nursery is a completely optional building, as are all the buildings that require gold to build. I can see why someone might disagree and say that the water tower is required, but the nursery isn't. It is up to each player themselves to decide if they want to spend the money involved to gain the advantages that it offers or if they do not require it.
I apologise for not responding to your earlier questions, i honestly hadn't seen it, but if i had i would have clarified this exact point to you.
I understand that some of you will be unhappy at this change, but the fact is that the advantages offered by having spending gold are ment to have a value to them, hence charging money for it. We want those advantages to be worth it for players and there will be times, like this, that an increased advantage will bring with it an increased price.

Ethan
You almost completely missed the point in your reaction, you spend a lot of lines explaining to me things I totally agree on, infact the first paragrah. Clues: I wrote: I had the gold, I can aford next update, no problem.
Then, more to the point, you apologise, apology accepted, for not responding early questions to clarify an anouncement. So there is the point: something needed to be clarified, the statement: the price of gold increases.
I am curious if you deliberately mistified this anouncement. If not: come on, it is an official anouncement! It is not the price of gold that increases, it is the price of the nursery!
Maybe I look to closely because this is not my first language, and Montuos was probably right when he told me I should have seen the red flag, but I would very much apreciate it if some effort was put into making clear and true anouncements.
In your last paragraph you touch unhappiness with the change.
I hear nobody, really nobody complaining. Everybody already had what they wanted and, if they chose to upgrade, saw their possession become more desirable in an istance. And if they didnt do their planned update yet, they were alarmed by the anouncement.
Sadly there was nobody on the official thread that gave a wake-up call to the poor soul with the early question that didnt see the red flags.
