From what I see so far it looks as if co-ops are just another way to take money from me; why else would any1 want me to join?

The coop uses money for the researcher and no individual can take any money from the coop.

The people asks you to join them are.

    1) It requires lots of money to start an research. But regardless of how many people in the coop each get the same price raise for the products. So if more people are in the coop, the individual needs to donate less to the coop and can do more researches and enjoy large profits.

    2) It requires gold if one person needs to sign in for two slots in the researches. IF there are more people each can them enroll as a researcher and so there will be less need for the gold to be spent.

    3) More the people in less time you can finish the projects and so the coop can level up, which in turn allows you to do more researches.

Every thing in the coop will end up in being able to do all the researches. These researches will help you do sell your produces for more profit.

The coop is a place where you can put money and get the dividend as price increase. OF course if you leave the coop you wont get the money back and also who join the coop lately even after the researches are finished will enjoy the benefits of the research.

Its a way to help other people. Apart from making money

You can help other farmers to develop in their farm, share the strategy and get new friends.

Can you add a deputy but only give them some control? Like to start projects but not boot players off.

Already only the leader can boot players.

Only the leader can boot players. So no, deputies can't boot players

Deputies can accept players from the Applications and start Projects

    How about members?

The members of any level can donate farm dollars, partake in chat, add collectibles to the projects, enroll as researcher for one research at a particular time.

Member who are above level 30 or who purchase gold can donate gold, hire more rsearchers along with the above activities.

is it possible to give another player money

No you can't give another member money or gold. You can however buy them a gift which increases the yield of the item you've gifted them however and does translate to farm dollars for them when harvested then sold.

To add to Rhon: you cannot give a deputy certain tasks. The tasks of a deputy are: edit news, accept players/applications, start projects and researches.
What a leader can do extra is: appoint deputies or a different leader (cannot get leadership back after you gave it away unless you ask the current leader to appoint you back leader!), change co-op description and boot members. Those extra tasks are thus not tasks for a deputy.
These are set tasks that you cannot change for yourself but come with the status of the person you appointed :)

Astromegz: a co-op can give you quite some extra money if you invest in it. Some researches are to help the co-op grow, but other researches allow you to have more money for your products. For example the Healthier Pigs level 1 research will give you 1 dollar extra for each pig you sell! The more research done, the more money you get (up to a certain point). That would be the biggest benefit of being in a co-op from a business point of view. Besides that it can also be fun to meet new people and chat with them and complete tasks together (feeling of accomplishment, perhaps pride), but that is a personal thing that not everybody likes :)

    how do I get coopertives?

When you have just started the game loads of new things are coming at you. One of these things is a quest to join a co-op. But how to do that exactly? First of all, don’t stress. You are probably level 6 when you get the quest and the award can be tempting to get quickly. We’ve all started like this. But before you start applying to high level cooperatives keep in mind that they can’t use a level 6, 10, or maybe even a level 20 farm. It costs millions of Farm Dollars to start research sometimes so my first advise to you is:

Make sure the co-op you are applying for is level appropriate!

What I mean by this is applying to a co-op where everyone is 30 levels higher than you won’t work.

Once you have built on your farm some more, found your way in the game and know what to expect from a co-op you can start looking for one. You do this by clicking on the three people button in your farm menu. Once you’ve clicked that, you click the hand-shake button and you get two options. One option is to find a co-op, the other is to found one. If you do not want to spend the 375 gold needed to found your own co-op or if you’d rather join one to be able to ask for advice to your co-op members, the find option is the one you need.

Once you’ve clicked ‘Find a cooperative’ a search page opens. There you can see some co-ops that are ‘near’ you or type the name of a co-op you have seen before and would like to apply to. When you have clicked the co-op of your choice you will come to the co-op screen. This screen shows the details of the co-op and the members in this co-op and, important for you as an applying member, an apply button.

The co-op screen will look like this and contain, as you can see in the bottom-left, an apply button. To the right you see a list with members. The first member, the red person, is the leader of the cooperative. If a member also has a key (usually the leader, but not necessarily) then they are the founder of that co-op. The yellow persons are deputies. They don’t have as many rights as the leader, but they are also able to read applications and start projects or researches. These are the people you should turn your application towards.

The ‘I would like to become a member of your cooperative’ is a standard message. The best is to change this message for a personal one. Tell the co-op how active you are or why they should pick you out of many other applicants. This message should be really short though! (about 3 lines). If you are clever, you put in this message that you have sent an in-game message and then you turn to the leader or one of the deputies of the co-op and send them a personal in-game message, so you can write more.

After you clicked apply the application has been successfully sent. Don’t get too upset when you get no reaction, certainly when you are a low level or have a standard message, co-ops are likely to reject your application. Just try again and feel free to send a message to the leader or deputies to ask why you got no reply. They will probably tell you what you can do better next time or maybe all places had already been given away to other people.

Good luck applying to a co-op and I hope you will have a fun time in any co-op you will join!

    Happy farming~

Soumya, you go to the three people button, click on the handshake button and a menu opens in which you can choose for find or found. In your case you click on found and pay the gold needed to start the cooperative. (375 gold). Then you fill in the details (name and description) and click on found. You have now founded your own cooperative.

Saubeo: You can join only 1 co-op at a time, per server. So if you have only 1 account, you can join only 1 co-op. If you have an account on WWW1 and on UK1 for example, you can join a co-op on WWW1 and on UK1. I suppose you have only 1 account since you just started, so only 1 co-op for you :)

    I apologaise if this becomes a double post, but my first question never showed up ^^;
Question: I run a co-op and people have donated dollars and I would like to place that into diffrent research, but I don't know how to. Only get a option to fund things from my own pocket. Does it require a certain level on the co-op or? Any help would be appreciated

The co-op funds are used to start Research. You need to hire Researchers from your own farm funds. One Researcher per person can be hired with dollars. More can only be hired with Gold. So you need to get all your members to hire a Researcher each with dollars so that you don't have to use Gold

Yes that I understand, but that doesnt answer my question of how do I spend the dollars the members has donated. if someone has donated say 55 000 dollars will they just stay in the co-op or can I spend it within the co-op. Or will it be used as a starting fund as soon as enough people has agreed to do a research. to clarify the question. its not how do I start a reserach or any of the other questions that has already been asked.

Those donated dollars can only be spent to start Research

So any donated dollars will stay in the co-op account until you spend them on starting Researches

Summers: You need 2 things to start a research. 1 is researchers and 2 is a starting fee. Those researchers you only pay from your own (and every member's) individual account. The starting fee you pay from the co-op accounts. You can see the starting fee at the details from the research. It is called Research costs if you hover your mouse over it and has a symbol of the orange flask and a pack of dollars. The individual cost you pay is indicated by a white person and a pack of dollars (and differs for each member according to their level). Does that explain it for you?

    Hi ulva

You can start by making a new thread here Or take a look in the cooperative introductions. Only apply to coops on the same server as yourself, which is the skn1 server. Good luck with your search. :)

If i donate gold by mistake in cooperative then can i get them back in any way?

And where that donated gold is used?

Komalu, no you can never get gold back, however you use it :( The donated gold is used to start certain researches that have gold as a starting cost. For example subsidies research always costs gold to start.
