Three little tips

I have 3 small tips here, that I decided to share with you all. For a lot of advanced players this might be very logical, but 2 of them I actually found out quite a bit later in the game, so for any of you who missed them, I'm glad to share. We're never too old or advanced to learn! 8)

1) The mill. When you make a batch of food in the mill, there is a plus symbol next to the amount of feed you make, and a green arrow next to the plus. With that you can make more feed then one batch at a time. In a level 1 mill you can make 3 batches of ten, in a lvl2 mill you can make 6. At lvl3 it's 9 and at lvl4 12.
Maybe tooo logical for people, but I've met people in my coop who didn't know this yet and were soooo glad they didn't have to make 1 chickenfood at a time :)

2) Selling excess. When you get the popup that your barn is full and you have to sell a bit to make room, there is a plus and a green arrow as well! That way you can sell the whole full barn at once, to make room for more then one harvest at once.
While I saw it for the mill very early in the game, this had escaped me for a loooong time and I kept going back to the farm management tab to sell all. Untill last week a friend pointed it out to me. It has saved me sooo much clicking! Even a natural brunette can have súch blonde moments!

3) The info button. When you click the blue information button, you get some information about the building. When you click on the levels below, you can see what more you can get when you upgrade it.
BUT! The info screen has a second tab that is even more informative, especially for processing buildings like the restaurant. You can click that and see what you can make at what level. If you hover your mouse over the product, you can even see what you will need for the next product you can make!

similar will be case for apples also... start producing apple pie in restaurant and cream in the bakery before you harvest milk and apple.

And if you are on the book task, or near the level end task collect only the required things. Dont harvest everything. You may need to harvest the same things for the next level. I did the mistake with moo the cows. Harvest all the opernight wheat and the required milk next. The second task is to harvest wheat... I need to wait another 6hrs to finish the task.

You can produce one batch of feed (maximum allowed by mill) if the feed in your barn is one less than the maximum capacity. If your mill allows 120 feeds to be produced and barn capacity is 1050. You can store a maximum of 1169. (1049 +120)
This will be useful while doing the projects.

I wish that I would have read this a few weeks ago. It would have saved me a lot of time. If figured it out on my own, but it's really nice that you shared this.

I also learned, making mistakes first, something about the order in which to do tasks.
I had some decorations and not space. My running cost was high and I wanted them to decrease. So I started little by little to replace the old decorations with others bringing more satisfaction and occuping as much or less space. But my mistake was that I started the replacement before to sow, so I hadnt neither old nor new decorations when I sowed the fields and fed the animals. In this way my running costs was even higher than usually lol.

Second time when I replaced an old decoration with a new one, first:
    1. I sowed fields and fed animals;
    and then:
    2. I stored an old decoration and started to build a new one.

P.S. Gwendolen, even I knew the tips that you gave us, the manner in which you presented them is very cute and funny. I like especially this phrase: ”Even a natural brunette can have such blonde moments!”

    Thanks Gwen :)

I like the second tip.I usually do the long process of using the farm management button and then sell them.Even though I am level 57 it is something new for me.

    Thanks again

Yes, they are great tips. Especially for people that do not naturally click every button to find out what it does, like me :P Unfortunately that is also a way to find out how the gold buttons work and that is a less funny experience :P Luckily once was enough to teach me not ever to touch them or to be very very careful not to click when I try ^^ So for all you out there that like to try buttons, avoid the light blue ones! It will save you a lot of frustration, despair and... gold. :D
