Been a while since I've been in the forums! All right, so I read this post, read the other one and have not been able to determine what exactly caused me to believe that you were a leisurely player. LOL! I certainly misread something though. How silly I feel! Well, it has been a while, but in response to a few thing in the above post I vetoed the farmhouse and barn upgrades, to impatient to save up for them. They are still one notch down from the final upgrade. Whether wise to wait on those, I have no clue. But I just couldn't stomach the costs. I've been putting my dollars into the gourmet farm. First thing I did was upgrade my farm to level 3 so that I could cook Spaghetti Napoli, then I put in a second garden, next the bakery, then the dairy and finally an almond orchard. That order exactly. I waited on goat stable for a bit, since their milk isn't really need to make the cheese until restaurant level 6 for a salad. I then discovered that at restaurant level 5, you can sell marzipan ice cream for $280,000 a pop with just 6 hours to wait (plus some waiting to get the ingredients but it's still a nice chunk of change). So I leveled the restaurant two more times. Since then I've added a goat stable, another garden and another almond orchard. The gourmet farm has been a blast but I am so broke for a change! LOL! If you get a chance feel free to visit my farms. I know I need to hop over to your farms and see your progress. You must have gotten so much done by now! I apologize for my earlier confusion about the frequency of your game play. Still haven't figured out how I made the mistake. I look forward to your reply to see how farming has been going for you.
I noticed before that you have your own co-op with just you and can't help but offer this. Should you get lonely, (you seem quite sociable from your posts) and would like to hang out in a real low pressure, highly chatty co-op I'd be more then happy to have you in our little family. Even though I have the lead spot, I am nothing of a bossy or pushy sort. We play to have fun, do what we can only when we can. I don't really even consider myself the leader. We are a team and I intend to keep that way. Check us out. Car Ser Lil is the name. I have space again. And I'll not lie. Your advanced level would be a great help for when we do take on a project or research.
Anyway, I didn't mean to stray from the subject but I really wanted to put that out there. I enjoy our posting back forth so much. Can't wait to see what's new on your farm. Take care!

I actually just finished upgrading my farmhouse to level 5, that 4 million was insane but now it is out of the way :) I do plan on upgrading my barns, they will help for the events when they ask to supply apples, eggs, etc. 8) I really haven't done too much more on my farms because I have been saving and planning :) Thanks for the info on the gourmet ranch, I will hopefully start attacking that one next week or the week after. I find it always good to have a plan :)

Hi Elizabeth, by my reckoning, Marzipan Ice Cream is the most profitable product on the gourmet farm, but the facilities needed to produce it 18 hours a day are insane and it may not even be possible for non gold players, being limited by space. I think you need 10 almond orchards. As they have non conflicting ingredients, when I can't produce MIC I do spaghetti bol or apple sauce - not apple pie is it uses 15 valuable sugar.

    I guess you've seen these -

I have looked at some information on the gourmet farm but haven't gotten in depth yet. I will check out those links, thanks 8)
